    I remember when these Mondo Snare drums came out in the mid-90's. No one knew what the hell to do with them, really. Good to see your jam here!

    Great!! How do you feel with this snare. Reccomend for who? Rimshot works? Thanks for this video

      Thanks for watching! The feel is different from that of a conventional snare, due to the Fiberskyn Mondo head under high tension. The "rimshot" sounds like a djembe slap. I would recommend it for world music or to any drummer who needs to incorporate a hand drum sound or just wants a unique voice.

    Cool! Does hitting the edge hurt the bearing edge? Sounds great. I want one.

      I might not bang "rimshots" on it for three hours a night, but it's not that kind of drum anyway.

      The bearing edge is like a whole inch roundover, not a fragile 90 corner
