Offline text recognition + search, free cloud storage + 3rd party cloud sync options, screen sharing, and app side-loading are great features. The fact that all of this is available without a paid subscription is why I chose the supernote over remarkable.

I already own an A5X and the keyboard expierence has never been anything to desire. I see now on the Nomad its gotten better! Not perfect and more needs paid attention to, but a far better experence. It couldn't be my main go for typing but I dont take my labtop everybwere and evern when I do it's not exactly easily mobile. I'm even more thriled about my getting the new Crystal. It's will be so much easier to take on the go and actually use because my A5X can be so awkward out and about when I'm on the go a lot. Thanks for the very detailed review. I actually learned a few extra things here about the nomad and I've watched a lot of videos.
I'm sure they'll continue to improve the typing experience. That's awesome you're gonna love the size and I'm glad you learned something 😊 Do you think you'll get an A5 X2 also or are you happy with the standard A5 X?
That's my main gripe too. I MUST use a mechanical keyboard (nothing else will do), so I've lost tons of work because I would hit one of the arrow keys, only to watch all my work disappear because I had forgotten to save it every 5 minutes (there is apparently NO auto-save feature).
@@VladimirKostek It depends on if I really want the extra features the Nomad has. Space MIGHT become an issue. But so far I’m barely using any and I have a good amount of PDFs loaded. @@VladimirKostek thank you!
The clanking of writing on the Nomad sounds very annoying 😮
It's actually not that noticeable, my mic was very close to it so it's very amplified. It's never bothered me irl and I'd say I'm pretty sensitive to sounds 🎶
@@VladimirKostek thanks, that’s good to know. Have you tried the Boox Go 10.3? Could it work as well as the Supernote for note-taking?
@@SpikedSilver I tried my friends Go 10.3 recently, it's a good all around device. It's at a competitive price point for sure. Like it will cost the same amount as a Nomad roughly when you've bundled a folio and pen. Consider if you want a full android ecosystem, for simple notetaking I think Supernote is a cleaner and better feeling experience. The A5 X2 is gonna be announced this week too but that will certainly be more expensive. Hope that helps!
Bonita camiseta o: (:
