Nice set up! From a guy that works in construction you may consider moving the oxy acetylene outfit out of that side locker, if there’s ever even a small leak it could build enough fumes to cause an explosion. I’m not worried about you, I just don’t want to see the box get hurt ! ;) lol just food for thought.
The cost of white oak and walnut skyrocketed from my local small kilns, so it’s been a challenge to stay competitive and still make my hourly rate. Hoping the prices get back inline soon!
I can see that you're the Tech everyone borrows tools from. Lol. I'm the only person at my shop who actually buys the right stuff to get the job done, which usually makes you the hey can I use yours guy 😂😂😂. Nice setup..
Same situation for me too. Also the only one that has a big diesel truck so anytime someone needs a car moved or something like that they always ask me. Getting pretty annoying honestly.
@@22mpb yeah having any truck is like that. I got a 02 V8 Dakota so everyone since highschool has always called me about wanting to move some bullshit or this and that
Nice job, just a few hints if I may..... this is a great video for inventory insurance purposes / documentation. But, in general people watch to SEE the tools. I realize you are filming alone, but get the camera close up to the tools, or a small field, where the tool is clearly seen and some PN's wouldn't hurt either. As close as just your hand and the tool. Perhaps a video of One drawer at a time?
Could of bought a brand new home with a garage, a big yard, 2 dogs, 2 cats, a swing, some diapers, a year supply of condoms, new underwear, socks new shoes celebrate Christmas on Christmas day, go to a club, make another baby, have another girlfriend on the side buy beer every other day, with all that money you spend just for a box with wheels. Not worth it.
I can tell from your tools you are a proper A grade tech, exactly what the industry needs vs just some parts changer
Thank you. I appreciate that.
Thank you for sharing. I had absolutely no idea those Decade boxes existed. That will make my life so much easier.

One of the most extensive sets on youtube!
Gabe, quite the impressive collection and organization. Must keep you out of the woodshop. Haven't seen anything from there in quite a while. - Chris

Nice toolbox tour Gabe. Those ratchet and extension organizers are top notch ;)
They are! SJW Organizers for the win!
Awesome setup, great presentation. The wrench extender is also perfect for tightening up handles on a vise.
I’ve never thought of that, but I like it! Thank you.

Very true lol

You better be making fat stacks of money if you have more tools than everyone else. Otherwise it's time to switch shops. You've out grown that one.
if i had a dollar for everytime this man said here... I would have allot of damn dollars right here. nice box my guy
Let me know what you think! Sorry for the small edit glitch on the one drawer. I'm a mechanic, not a movie maker.
Very nice tools mate 👌 I’d stop there though 😅
Great video 👍
Thank you!
great video.very well filmed
Thank you!
13:30 what are those orange organizers ? Can you provide a link ?

I appreciate that. I’m not great at making videos, so I will take all the advice I can get!
You better have gotten some free performance snap on chonies for this setup.
Dehumidifiers are key.
Buddy ran 10 ads on this video tryna recoup some of that $120K
I don’t know anything about ads or how RUclips runs them. I’m a mechanic lol.
what do you use to organize your ratchets? I see the heads are in some sort of slot/ bracket or something, brand?
SJW Organizers makes those. Super heavy duty magnets and they stay in place perfectly.
my question is what if one of the mountain wrenches break how will you warranty them?
I just call JB Tools and they take care of you. If you buy off Amazon you’d have to try contacting that seller. Where you buy is key.
You’ve mentioned you work at a GM dealership, do you not anymore? this is your home setup do you also have tools at work?
I still do gm diag and programming, but most of my tools are at home where I turn wrenches and help people that need it, generally for free.
Who makes the fleixble magnetic pick up tool with the green handle? Thanks in advance, appreciate it.
Performance Tool W83196 or similar. They make a 40” version too W83195.
I think that there is a lot more than $100K in that setup.
I've gotten really good deals from my Snap-On dealer, but you're right full MSRP is probably much higher!
What color box and trim is this thanks!
Royal blue and titanium trim with stainless led top
I doubt that tiny CD player size dehumidifier even works. Even if it did, think about it, the toolbox isn't air tight sealed.
I haven’t had a rusted socket in years, but I don’t know all the science behind it. I used to get rust pitting on my snapon impact sockets before.
No way this is only 100k lol wrenches alone prob 6k
Ive built this setup over 23 years, so the prices average out a lot better than buying all today!
Can mechanics claim the tools they pay for on their taxes?
Scam or not?
This is legit.

We just got this house built 5 years ago, it might be too soon for a new one again.
Buy harbor freight instead same steel same hardware same company with a different name. Made in China. But cheaper price
It’s made in Algona, Iowa. You can’t believe everything you hear bud.
