Shavkat Karimov - an entrepreneur and an executive; founder of a few companies: Pulse Survey (Russia), Reputation Management Kings (US), Favorite Words (US).
Last 3 years worked as a Head of SEO and a Principal Program Manager at Microsoft, leading one of its most visited websites: Microsoft Community (Answers).
Prior to that worked at the Director level for other smaller companies. Now retired and returned to Uzbekistan to enjoy life teaching, investing, and mentoring local professionals and companies.
Shavkat came to the US as an extraordinary person (EB1A immigration visa), got 2 degrees: International Law and Film Directing, both from top universities in their countries (UWED in Uzbekistan and VGIK in Russia respectively), created 20 short films, got some awards, wrote 3 books, created 2 social networks, was one of the biggest web directory owners on the web at some point, lived and worked in the USA, Canada, Sweden, Belgium, France, Russia, Turkey, Guatemala.
Main expertise is SEO (search engine optimization), also program management, digital marketing, and online business.
On his free time, Shavkat enjoys spending time with his family, playing ping-pong and chess, reading and hiking.
