Great build as usual, I’ve gotten two light bars from little guys and neither one worked, they gave me a new one but it didn’t work either. Just bad luck I guess
Dang! I’m 2 for 2 on them. Are you using shorty screws to mount them? Ive had to snip the screws down on both mine. Just wondering if you screwed into something vital?
Brian, I need some driveshaft help. I'm building 5 scx24's for my family to have semi-monthly competitions. I have three deadbolts and 2 C10's. Two of the deadbolts are stretched with C10 rear links on the front. Both of the C10's have 4 link front links as well as double barrel shocks. Their front driveshafts are just barely hanging together at full droop. Both of the stretched Deadbolts have double barrel shocks. Both of their front driveshafts are barely staying together at full droop. One of the stretched Deadbolts has a steel rear driveshaft (no idea whose - it came with it). The steel driveshaft does not have the D shaped hole for the pinion. Because it can just spin free on the pinion, the only thing holding it from spinning is the screw/pin. It creates a TON of play before the wheels start moving. Combine that with both ends creating play and the inherent play in the front stock driveshaft, and things get out of whack pretty quick. Are there any aftermarket driveshafts that have the D shaped ends? Do you know where I can get stock driveshafts? Axial is backordered. Really enjoyed seeing your collection on Mofo's stream last night. Thanks!
I’m in the same boat waiting on stock ones to get back in stock. Some metal shafts may hVe the D shape… you’ll just need to look closely. I know at least a couple of mine do not have the D. For the 4-link and extreme droop, I have had that front shaft fall apart. Just have to get some other shafts and play with a combo. Stock sets are great for that and you can cut them down.
Boy, you wasn't kidding about Nick and the new wheels. Too many options. Sick looking build as always and I can't wait to see you run it someplace wild and crazy
Hey man that thing is awesome! If it wasn’t too big of a deal could you please send me a list of everything you needed to build your injora rock jumper? I would like to build one, thank you.
No idea how to send you anything. No idea which Injora chassis you are talking about. I built a buggy and a bouncer. The first chapter in both build videos of each goes over all the parts. And of course, watch the videos. Should be crystal clear.
Looks great! I commented on the last part of this series about the Mofo oil filled shocks... and have since swapped out to the new HR Long Travel oil shocks and I really like them. I found out about them from your post on youtube about them and am a little surprised they didn't make it onto this build! Informative and entertaining as always.
Haha…. I really wanted to use them on this, but I had purchased these. Thinking they may go on the Cheat Code, if not… I am swapping them on to this. Thanks for watching!
@@bcochener I'm sure they'd be right at home on a Cheat Code! I do think multiple suspension mounting points are needed to get the full use of shocks like these
@bcochener thanks for a quick response. That would be so cool or if someone tech savvy could come up with similar options 3d printed with colors. I'm just not smart enough for that. I buck stich saddles by hand still as a disabled income lol.
This build is my top 3 builds I've seen yet on RUclips. 1 is built as a k5 blazer, one I've seen is a scaled out tan and orange gladiator and this and I can't put them in any specific order. Maybe soon I'll learn to edit a video of my current c10 build.
Just the normal LT. I had already purchased them for this when the I picked up the oil filled LT. I may swap to the oil later if they don't get used on the Cheat Code build.
Very awesome rig. I thought it was gonna be a Blazer build but this is sweet. Doing a K5 build myself. Have you ever had issues with the shoe goo eating the paint? I used Gorilla glue and it left a ring unfortunately.
Let your paint cure up well. I think I waited 2 weeks on this one. I’ve only ever used shoe goo and have seen people also use E6000. I don’t move them once they pop into place.
@@bcochener I’ll definitely have to try the shoe goo. The paint was cured for about a month, I think the Gorilla super glue was just too aggressive. Love the builds.
@@503RCguy oh, yeah. No super glue, you want something with some flex like the lexan. Super glue would be too brittle I would think, besides dissolving the paint. Hope it didn't destroy the whole paint job! (you can always paint the outside of the affected area... black out the hood or something.)
That front headlight and grill shroud looks awesome. Did you paint it or does axial sell a black one like from the black c10? I haven’t been able to find one!Fantastic builds as always!
I always buy the Grey C10 that comes with the black trim. I just keep the grill and use a new clear body. But yes you are right, the clear body C10 only comes with chrome trim.
Yet another awesome build!!
Thanks again!
Good looking rig brian 🔥🔥🔥👍
Thanks Sammy!
Thats an awesome color
I love it as well! Thanks!
Super nice build! Love that color!
Thanks Corey!
Awesome build, I like it. Appreciate you sharing catch on the next one
Thanks bud!
Looking sick B!
Thanks Brother!
Very mysterious!

The first one the wire fell out of it and the second one just plain didn’t work, tried it first before I tried to put it on… oh well
Looking awesome, love the color.

Looking good! Gosh dang, why are these little rigs so fun to build?
I have that same question… but they are!

Thanks DoubleA. Yeah, it will be fun putting together some new combos with his wheel options now.
On the rear axle what cover is that attached to the middle?
That is a diff cover with a link riser built in.
Great build as usual. Gotta love those Chevy builds!
I agree! They look so good.

Looks sweet man! I Did a half Cab with my grey c10 too with tinker times flat bed and its been a lot of fun! How did you mount your mirrors?
Thanks. The mirrors come with hardware, little bolt and micro nut.
Does anyone still make a truggy back like this anymore? Or does mofo still do it?
Mofo doesn't as of now. He has mentioned bringing back some chassis, so we'll see.

@@josephpacheco7508 I appreciate that! I’ve got some other stunners as well!
Nice how did you paint the lugs on WT rims? Sharpie?
They came painted.
??? I didn't see you mention it, but are those HR shocks the SXTF428LT or the SXTF428LTX? Thanks!
