GODDAMN! I never thought we see Shadow’s intentions on why he would go get help from Fawful on getting the Emeralds and his anger towards Sonic. You have definitely gotten me more invested
Yeah, it's actually a pretty solid motivation. He feels guilt because his recklessness lead to him indirectly killing Rouge, then he had to put down Omega or else he'd do even more damage. He wants revenge on Metal Sonic for his power boost leading to Omega's corruption, and feels anger at Sonic for his recklessness leading to Metal Sonic's power boost. It might be kinda edgy, but it makes sense why he's doing what he's currently doing.

I've watched all the episodes so far and I'm loving it! I kinda feel weird seeing Shadow acting like a villain in this version as in most other versions of Super Mario Bros Z or animations in that style he is always an ally of Sonic and company but I must say that everything is of high quality, the story, the animations, the special effects, the audios, the fight choreography, you're doing a great job, seeing people doing their versions of Super Mario Bros Z makes me wonder what it would be like if SEGA and Nintendo made a crossover game between both franchises other than sports, with other genres like RPG, Action RPG, fighting, Hack N' Slash and etc. because the potential is great like Sonic's crossover with Megaman in Worlds Collide and Worlds United in Archie comics
What an episode i love how you are writing shadow to not be just an edgy asshole (looking at you forces) his anger against sonic is justicefied the first half of the koopa bros fight was fire with the tekken 8 music in the background looking forward to seeing the next episode
Here are some ideas for part 7: - Base Sonic < Turbo Mode Yellow < Lightspeed Sonic - Luigi could maybe counter Doppel-Gang-Up by activating Dream Mode and using his Luiginary Clones - Mario and Knuckles swap opponents - Knuckles can keep up with Power Strike Red - Adamant Armor helps against physical strikes, but not against energy attacks And for the general series: - It is revealed (in Shadow's presence) that during the Phantom Ruby Event, Metal Sonic had full control and deliberately targeted Omega to take out Shadow and his team. As a result, Shadow somewhat forgives Sonic (maybe after 2 more hard punches as payback), but between him and Mecha Sonic, it gets very, VERY personal. - Upon learning that Rouge and Omega are dead, Peach proposes talking with Dreambert and using the Dreamstone to revive them. Rouge and Omega then join the fight, as well as Dreambert and maybe some other Pi'illo Island characters (maybe even including Antasma joining forces with Metal Sonic). - Fawful's scheme being developed further. Maybe using those power boost gems fuels some dark energy that leads to the reawakening of the Shadow Queen or a similar entity? Would also be a neat easter egg if, when Sonic sees someone use that gem, he first mistakes it for a Sol Emerald.
Sorry Smash i couldn't be in the premiere...BUT THIS EPISODE WAS FUCKING FIRE FR. THAT RIGGING AND SMOOTHNESS AS WELL AS THE BACKGROUND WORK. Amazing job.

Well, if they were to be bad guys anyway. Wrecking a city while acting like a bunch of kids while doing it, just bad enough to want them to be taken down, but just fun enough to absolutely enjoy them on screen! But for real, though, "Chaos Punishment," someone's been doing their homework. And don't get me started on Koopa Bros vs. Team Sonmario 🤯. Music choice was just top notch, and the fight choreography mixes well with the music. ❤ Especially when Koopa Bros was approaching them in the shift of the song 😭👏👏👏 My Gawd. I ate this up good. SMB DX is just different. The animation, the storytelling, the dedication to show off every character possible. Thumbs up to you bro, this was well made. Just as good if not, dare I say, better than Super Mario Bros Z. I can't wait to see Ep.7. That's gonna be straight fire to see. 😁

To all SMBDX fans, I hope you enjoyed the episode. It goes without saying coming up with the Koopa Bros. Koopajutsu was my favorite part. Putting my bias as the co-writer aside, my favorite was Koopa Red's Power Strike.
What I don’t understand is why does Shadow blame Sonic for Omega’s corruption which led to his and Rouge’s death? Shadow has known Sonic long enough to know that he would never do something like that. At least not intentionally. If anything, he should be angry at Metal and want to aid Sonic in taking down Metal to get his revenge since it was Metal’s fault the Phantom Ruby corrupted Omega and made him go on a rampage. It just seems out of character for Shadow.
