Wow! Finally I found it! Last week I bought a, rather beat up, 2003 Yamaha NEOS 2t. For the equivalent of 180€. Meanwhile I've been struggling to identify some parts. Namely the back end. All NEOS come with regular cable operated drum brake, on the back. Well mine came with a disk brake and steel braided lines, etc. Even the back wheel has a different color, same blueish as in this video. The air filter pod, very similar to the original Yamaha. Says "Aprilia" so I taught it was parts from a Aprilia "SR 50" or "Area 51". Now I see it was most likely from an Yamaha Aerox. The engine is a mod 70cc, horizontal, but air cooled. Quite a little Frankenstein it is. LOL 😂😂 Very soon it will be running smooth & sweet! ;-) Now I know what it is. I can go and buy some brake pads... ;-)
Saludos.
In my country we build 135cc t2 engines with 35bhp into our Aero (Nitro as they are known here) Makes for a very quick scoot. I'll struggle to ride a 50.
Interesting, the wheels have a finished side and an unfinished side to them. I want to see more of this engine/transmission though, I've never seen one quite like this.
It be nice if you guys have a 3d printing to design on body works be amazing looking sporty style and rear wheel need to be extra wide so it be more better traction on roads ect and front need lil be fatter then be bad ass looking moped scooter
I had one from 2004 till 2020. Legendary scooter. Excellent for city traffic.
Thank you for posting! I forward to the rest of this restoration! I am restoring a 250cc Jonway.
