    I hope to see Diana Frankhauser in a major union film one day. I feel so connected to her, and her performance was phenomenal! She's gonna be the next big thing, I can already tell. I feel as though her and Florence Pugh would have a really great platonic on-screen chemistry for some reason lol.

    Thank you so much for this series. I started an in person Meisner class before COVID hit and I enjoyed it a lot, but then when everything shut down I never got back into it. I’m looking forward to signing up here in the future!!

    I really liked Diana. I was very emotional when watching her it was very raw and very real. For whatever reason something about her reminded me of Emily Rossim from the tv series of Shameless. A total complement definitely. Although due to being virtual, there was a point where she was blowing up and getting very agitated, and the sound cut off, but even so, I could see the emotion and the raw intent, even when it was silent, which is even a bigger compliment than I could ever give..
    If I’m being honest, Joe, at first, I didn’t believe maybe because I felt there were too many pause beats put into it, I don’t know, but I did start to believe him midway and that shed a lot of light on the whole situation, and the banter between each other that made it very watchable. I really liked watching it.

    Hey Kurt , I’m 17 years old and from the uk . I have no acting experience but have a passion for it and really want to make it my career , the problem is I’m very nervous talking in front of people and am very shy at times and I’m worries that will really ruin my chances . You got any idea of what I should do?
    Thanks and happy new year

      I recommend finding an acting class (you can also do acting classes remotely) it will help you overcome your fears since you will be acting in front of other students and your teacher, just remember:
      - Once you are given your sides, prepare yourself for the next lesson to know it off by heart and have practised it at home as best as you can.
      - Try not to overexaggerate a scene, you are an actor, trying to impersonate another person/character.
      - When doing your sides, try to imagine someone you know in front of you as if you were talking to them.
      There's much more than this in order to make up an acting career, I recommend just watching Acting Career Center if you really wanna get into the industry.
      Good luck g

      Hey @ItsMeAjayz, I'm 13 and was asking the same question just over a year ago, and now I've been on stage performing 2 minute long monologues in front of nearly 400 people! The best thing you should do is find some good acting lessons. And for the nervousness, just take small steps to becoming less afraid, like performing a small scene with a few trusted friends so you know they wont be judging you and will be supporting you. Then slowly in front of more and more people as you gain confidence. I was exactly the same as you last year, but I just did these things and now I have an interview with an agency in a few days! Good luck and I hope this was helpful (btw ik it's a lot sorry)

      I just recently got into acting, I literally mean last week haha. I’m 21 and have been doing extensive research and trying to really get into it. I signed up to La casting and had an self tape audition which I think went horribly. I now have an audition for a theater role for one of the characters from the outsiders and I really think this technique could help! I saw your channel and saw you were an actress! Plus on top of that a makeup artist, how cool! I’d love to hear any tips you have to give! I can give you an email or a discord and we can discuss if you would give me the time. Hope you’re well! And happy new year! Also I agree these people are definitely helpful!

    In the technique can the actor ask a question?

    • @jonnpaper3142
      @jonnpaper3142 Год назад

      For the repetition exercise, from what I understand no. From everything I’ve seen they don’t want you to be aware of your thoughts or think at all. You are solely concentrated on what’s directly in front of you. Really listening/understanding and responding based off of them. I think it’s really cool because it can teach you listen more and really understand people in life, also on stage to truly never be stuck because you are always in the moment! How cool!

    why in every scene has to be a fight....in every course or acting class in the world, always and only lessons where you fight. And then there are many other types of emotions missing, the only one that is used is always and only anger...
