Our education system is partially to blame for this. Employability skills are not taught in most colleges. Its high time our education curriculum is updated based on modern industrial demands.
The current btech curriculum is already upto date. The main problem is overpopulation and limited resources and not entirely on education system.
@@binu44464 , overpopulation is definitely an issue. But the curriculum is still outdated(I am talking about KTU). My cousin is studying engineering. Some changes were made but still, Modern industrial practices are still not taught in colleges(Apart from some IIT's). As per a 2022 survey, only 15% engineering graduates have the skills required to work in an industry. In 2015 that same percentage was 23.
@@binu44464 , like you said, number of engineering colleges should also be reduced. Total engineering seats should be proportional to total available jobs.
@@siddharthsuresh9285 yes. I think bachelors degree should be mainly fundamental courses. Modern courses are provided as electives but the main problem is the faculties are not equipped to teach these new and advanced courses. Infact most of them can't teach fundamental courses properly.
@@binu44464yep. In college, if you opt for modern course, they say that they don't have the faculty to teach that course or enough student strength is required. KTU really need to revamp their curriculum & industry related training is also reqd like in the form of internship. I'm an ex- KTU graduate of 2022, so I know whts really happening in that house😅.

For the first time I cried by seeing SKJ vedios..it relates to every youth who are facing this type of situation. Even at present I'm also in this situation and yes I don't want to attend any functions because everyone asking completed BTech nothing have you got.At present Im doing my Mtech because my parents also don't want to see me stay in the house idle..so for their wish I'm doing mtech and I wish I could get a good job in coming days
Write competitive exams like psc ssc.otherwise u have to face same situation after mtecg
