Good stuff Jeff. Hope you have great time in the US. You picked a cooker of a week to come visit.
Hard to go wrong in the Ironbound food wise.
Unsure how long ago you filmed this, so maybe you made it in time for the festival.

@@Hittheroadmadeira Nice! Parents and grandparents both grew up there. Good stuff. It went sideways in the late 60s and 70s and lot of families moved out, but im still close by and get over there when I can.

I’m guessing you are hitting NYC (or Newark’s Ironbound) which is where I’m from and my family still lives. If I had known, I could have hooked you up. Hopefully, you discovered Joey Bats cafe on Allen Street (and other locations in Manhattan) Best pastel de nata west of Belem. Nao se importa. Looking forward to what you think.

Thanks Jeff, André & Vitor ☺
We sure have it lucky these days as they had a hard life back in the day & is that toilet still in use?! 😆
By the way was that wine more like table wine or closer to Madeira wine?
Looking so forward to your US vlogs & have an amazing weekend my friend!
Much love from England as I'm there as we speak 🤗

Come to Canada. Many Portuguese people here, especially the Toronto area.
