Wow I have to say commiting Golden Child in R1 (+Eredin) was a genius play. I would have absolutely never done that since the "Golden Child last say point slam" is so ingrained in my mind I get scared to play him any sooner than that. But you made it work amazingly
Of all the beginner-friendly decks, this and Firesworn are probably my favorites. =) This one in particular has good pacing, and Riptide adds some much-needed removal to the Monsters decks. I wonder if I can fit Riptide in a Vampires deck too... EDIT: Unseen Elder in a Frost deck?! That _could_ work. I'll give it a try if I stop running into answer-or-lose decks any time soon!
I think Frost is a good beginner deck too. The cards are pretty straightforward but there's enough ways to use them and variety in how you can approach a game (especially when choosing to go for a 2-0 or not which Frost is good at) to keep it interesting. Monsters is so lacking in control for most of its decks that I find myself putting Lord Riptide into most of my MO decks at this point. It's just really solid.
adjusted my old frost deck to this one 👍 could you do a witchers deck of any faction? havent seen a good deck with the series' namesakes in a long time 😥
Clog Kolgrim is the best Witcher deck, but as far as a more pure and Witcher focused deck they're all not great unfortunately. On the other hand I suspect that they'll receive some buffs over time in Gwentfinity. I can still give it shot though.
Since it's played in the Keltullis deck I don't think it necessarily needs a buff when compared to all the cards that see no play at all. A buff could be useful, probably a 1 power buff to go with its theme of Dominance, but it wouldn't be a priority for me.
@@platinumpatrol2964 weird, I haven't seen keltullis in a long long while. Carapace is always Ogroids. As a sidenote, I wish the monster faction was given something more interesting than a 1 dimensional pointslam archetype. Do you think anything interesting can be done with Ogroids outside of just putting them all in a deck?
I've played several Kelly players the past couple days lol. As far as Ogroids, big Pointslam is pretty much their thing. One thing you can do is opt out of some the upper range cards to run Heatwave + Aerondight + Muzzle for a lot of Gold control along with Riptide.
Do you mean Wild Hunt Riders and in the Dwarf game? I don't agree. Even if I had kept 2 Riders in deck Auberon into them is only worth 13 while making the Warrior was worth 9 (it made the Wrath live).
@@rydelredekop Okay so let's ignoree that the Riders are still 5p at this point and I'd have to cut a Red Riders and a Bruiser for them, and that I'd want to thin with them anyway instead of holding them for R3. The Riders + Auberon is 19 points. Auberon + Warrior is 15 points since it put Wrath online - 4 less than the Riders. I lost by 11 so it still wouldn't have made a difference even if I was running them.
@@platinumpatrol2964 Fair point I just never have luck with the warrior and always find myself redrawing it so I think I run I sub out 1 bruiser and warrior for two wild hunt riders all day, think our decks are identical other than that
@@rydelredekop This video is also from 6 months ago, so some of the things have changed. Other than Riders (which I do use now that they're 4p) I've also come to really like Unseen Elder in the deck after his buffs.
@@shahumair7962 nah bro I think raids is fine. Of course its always annoying to play agsinst something which can literally destroy your engines with mostly 1 card but there is not that many raid players (my personal experience). You are right about sove, the point slam is definitely huge on that one. But lets be honest... assimilate is the worst to face :D

I love White frost. It took me to pro because I'm new with not much cards. I love this deck.
