@@marioruiz1530 I did lose an armor in one game from not putting the Foglet ranged the turn prior to Ard Gaeth and several in the last game foe the Foglet placement. Sorry.
I really appreciate beginner decks in Gwent -- especially MO Frost and SY Firesworn. Cheap to build, cheap to upgrade, and can easily work in Devotion mode or upgraded with Oneiromancy, Royal Decree or other "essential" cards. As you progress, I'd also recommend NR Siege and ST Deadeye Spam (the old versions without Bri Cri). They require a bit more scraps to start with, but they're reliable powerhouse archetypes that are fun to play.
Hello Platinum, love the content as always! can't really go wrong with MO White Frost. I would like to ask your opinion about which are some reliable NR, NG and MO decks for climbing as of now. I'm stuck at rank 2 lol
MO I'd highly recommend the GN Deathwish deck, this is the one I'm currently playing: www.playgwent.com/en/decks/7313612f6869a34d578cd960f9fb7ff3 The other really good Monsters deck is the Mourntart Harpies deck but I haven't tried it out yet myself. Midrange Fruits is and Frost work great too. NR I'd say GN Shieldwall and Traveling Priestess are strong, but the standard NR Knights should also work. I don't play a lot of those decks though. NG Enslave 6 Assimilate is probably what I'd go with or a Henry Shupe Double Cross after the Renfri and Soldier deck nerfs. The Slave Driver + Nauzica nerfs really hurt the decks based around spamming them out. So far this season I've mostly played the Yennefer Passiflora deck I made a video on and then got to Pro going 17-2 on the Midrange ST deck I also made a video on the other day. This Frost deck is also plenty good enough to get you to Pro Rank although you may want to try some of the other options beside Nithral and the Apirian Phantom.
@@platinumpatrol2964Thanks for the recommendations! It seems that right now the decks have plenty of options to go for. I like it. Have a good day and keep up the good content!
I love your videos, you're the reason I came back to the game. I would love to hear your input on my variation of your ng soldiers deck you put out. I cut the slave drivers, glourios hunt and one nauzica and went for magne division, two battle preps vilgefortz and assire for second battle prep but it sometimes feels off
I'm also a new player and randomly chose the white frost deck as my first real deck. I'm glad to hear that this was a very good decision. Anyway, I was wondering if you could make another video on the Imperial Formation with Imperial Marine, as I'm also relatively new and I think the Slave Driver has been nerfed, for example.
Hey honest question, how many games do you win on average? Because today I played like 20 games and I think I won like 4 and I'm about this close to just uninstalling because I'm starting to think this game isn't for me.
What rank are you at and what are you playing? For me it really depends on the deck I'm using. As a content creator a lot of the time I try to make certain viewer requests or experiment with different strategies and then my winrate can be a lot lower. But when I'm playing good decks like Frost and a lot of the ST Midrange deck I made a video on previously it can be very high, especially at the start of the season. For example, at the moment the season just started so I have about a ~85% winnrate since most of the players I'm going against are worse due to all being reset to the same starting rank. By the end of the season when I'm playing against people of similar skill levels it usually ends up between 55-60%. There were times I had losing streaks before, usually from playing pretty bad decks that I thought were fun, and usually find it's good to take a break after a few losses in a row to stop from feeling how you are, especially if it's so many in one day. If you're not enjoying the game you can always take a break for a little while. It's really about having fun in the end.
@@platinumpatrol2964 I'm rank 12 and I've tried monster werewolf control, northern Realm mages, and various others. But you're right. I've been playing a lot lol I think it's time for a break. Good advice, thank you :)
That's an interesting idea but if they kill the 1 power copy before you can play Tir Na Lia (which is easy for a lot of top decks) then Caranthir isn't doing much.
Lara is meme outside of Tatterwing AQ Swarm. I definitely wouldn't play her in this. As for Nithral and Apiarian Phantom, they're fine for a more proactive approach to the deck but you could run something like Morvuud instead if you want
I'm a new player and I learn a lot from your videos 💪 thanks for the content!!
You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful.
Dude, i cringed every time you didn’t play your big units properly in order to prock lord riptides armor gain.

Haven’t played Gwent in a while but always enjoy watching your videos with a cup of coffee and some snacks 💯
Thanks for new player tips!!
I like your videos cuz you explain to us everything, which means a lot for people who don’t know every single trick on this game
It’s always a good day when you post frost and an hour long let’s go
Impressive victory over the Vi, well played
Returning player here. Thanx for your showcase dude!

@EatinHerOutOfficial-kc6dn nice just won my first 2 games with the starter deck I love how tactical when and where you use the frost is

Fantastic !❤
goooooooood i like it
The most important skill is to draw Erdin in your hand r1. It's essential against assimilate decks. You do that game is basically won.

I also find the Imperial Marine ability kind of confusing and don't really know why this one engine is sometimes a power up and sometimes not.
I'll do another Soldier deck but I have a different NG deck I'm making a video on first
My favorite white frost is the big boys point slam version with yghern ozzerel mourvuud golden child and imerlith
That's a pretty fun version too
Hello bro, it's me again, nice video, hey just one question is SK pirates viable ??
Yes. It didn't get hit too hard considering it was one of the best decks last season.
@@platinumpatrol2964 noice!! I'll try it right ahead, probably the deck you already have on the channel
Can you make new witch hunt deck?
Sure
Can you play more draft too please !!
Sure I can do that again. Thanks for the suggestion!
Why dont you use lara dorren?
She doesn't work well with Frost because they don't swarm the board. She's basically relegated to Tatterwing.
@platinumpatrol2964 with auberion king, you can create a rider and summon 2 riders from your deck. That's 4 units

I myself like to play The calantir which spowns a 1 power copy of Eredin and buff it with tirna lia

Why no slave trader :'(
Just didn't have the 5p slot for him. I wanted to but I couldn't realistically justify cutting Bruiser/Crew/Red Riders for him
