I had the idea to do something similar to this on my last run, but forgot that the Defense sword requires job advancement. I ended up with the Sun Sword and Light Axe on my two Fighters, with a Red Mage for buffing, and a White Mage for sustain. Now after watching a bit of this video I decided to start my own version of this run and sort of play along!
Hey! I make The Legend of Zelda (NES version 8-bit) ROM hacks and would love to see you guy try to tackle one. They are tricky and challenging. Definitely will make you think at times. I can E-mail you one if you would be up for the challenge. I changed shops, dungeon locations, dungeon items, dungeon maps, outside world map, secrets and more. I would enjoy watching you play a blind play through it
@@BeKindRewind77 on enemies that only have 1 swing and have normal crit ratio (a lot of them) they can only land a crit on slot 1 or 4. This makes slot 3 much safer imo.
Thanks. You mentioned somewhere in this video that 1st and 4th slots were most likely to get crit and I thought it was more of a “isn’t that just my luck” situation, not an actual mechanic. This makes sense now
@@BeKindRewind77 it's just on how limited the RNG is and how it can only be so random. If you get enemies with more swings or a higher crit rate they can crit other slots, but most enemies can't.
@@Fortrixw I'm currently not interested in having anyone work for me. Thanks for the offer and I'll keep it in mind, but at this time it's not something that I'm looking for.
I haven't caught a stream for a while. Glad I saw this pop up on my feed.
Same, nice to see the man behind the voice
What a fitting ending, nice work!

@@Keith-k3m I have never actually played the first 2 LoZ games before.
Why is the third spot safer than the fourth spot? I thought they both had a 1/8 chance of getting hit.
