I have been watching your tretinoin videos even before I started my own journey with tretinoin. I just wanna let you know that your videos are super helpful and sooooo real! A lot of things you have mentioned in your videos that I could totally relate. Now I’m at my month3 and it’s funny how I felt exactly the same way you felt about month 1 and 2 😂 While I was watching your recap videos I thought “oh okay it’s not just me, she experienced the same things” which helped encouraging me a lot to carry on the tretinoin journey. Thank you so sooo much Pembe, keep up good works!
    ps. You’re super cute 😊

Night time moisturizer I use is CeraVe skin renewing night cream and I love it...no breakouts and it helps skin cell turn over as well...I'm in month four and wondering when the redness of the skin finally starts to go away and also when the skin maybe even starts to not look so dry too...
I agree your skin does look great and I think it's great to show people that not everyone will have completely clear skin and will sometimes experience break outs even after a year...
    :)
Looking forward to your month 5 video

Thanks Christy! Month 6 was a big turning point in terms of everything sort of evening out and looking really good, so here's hoping your redness/dryness kicks rocks around that time too.

I’m 4 weeks in. The purging period is really hard. My skin has never looked like this in my life and it’s really hard to leave the house. Your videos have been so informative & so helpful to me. I probably watched the 2 month video like 5 times! This is definitely the worst of it but your videos help me stay hopeful.

Pembe your skin looks amazing and I think growing out your bangs will def help reduce any forehead breakouts. Keep the hair out of the face because the oils from hair/hair products can always interfere :) !
Im heading into month two and the irritation is at it's peak but somehow my skin still looks more radiant!
Keep updating us - this is a good journal/record to have, one of the best most thorough I've seen on RUclips.

Thanks Ardesa! So glad it's helpful :) These bangs, man...almost as much of a struggle as the first few months of tretinoin. But I'm determined to keep growing them. So exciting that you're on month 2 and already seeing positive results! That glow and smoothness will just keep getting better and better.

I love Paula’s Choice Resist Omega+ serum (not the moisturizer). It’s supposedly for dry skin, but my oily combo skin absolutely loves it. It doesn’t have ceteryl alcohol either. It soaks right into the skin, and doesn’t leave any sort of greasy residue. I find it works marvelously for dry spots from retinization too, and doesn’t cause any breakouts or irritation for my very sensitive skin.

I'm actually having a good experience with my retina, a little dryness. I've been using it every night, the first week I did take a 2 day break and started and than after 5 days took 1 day break and now my skin feels adjusted just after 3 weeks.. slight dryness not really any pimples anymore. I'm using 0.05 %

      Hey Riss,
Did tretinion help shrinking your pores?

    • @RavenUntamed
      @RavenUntamed 4 года назад

@@feelbeautiful2749 not yet, I noticed my pores got a little bigger, but i do believe it's only because the tret is producing new layers and I think soon they will tighten and close. My skin does look better and brighter though... with time:)

Thank you for responding Riss. I have been using tretinoin for a month now and I am too noticing that my pores especially on the nose are getting larger. I am so worried. I hope that both of us will soon get the improved skin ❤️❤️.

@@feelbeautiful2749 yeah mine, on my checks under my eyes..but I'm confident it will go away with time. I read people have the same experience as us.

Oh no, baby raptor strike. Sorry Auntie! Thank you for the reminder to investigate ingredients, even with products that *look* like they're a good match. And thank you for the reminder that lighting is such a stealth element to how our faces look to us. Oh to live in soft pink walls and filtered sunlight :)

Snuggling a baby raptor is always worth it. :) I paid no attention toon to ingredients before, but dang I think my skin may have hated fatty alcohols all along.

Out of curiosity, did you have any wrinkles/fine lines BEFORE you started Tret? Your skin looks pretty flawless wrinkles wise. It'd be pretty great results if you started even with small wrinkles. Thanks :)

Does tretinoin help clear and prevent any blackhead/whitehead? The inflamed zits around the chin and jaw area are very hormonal, i get them too. I guess something that tretinoin can't really prevent. Thanks for keeping us updated with your tretinoin journey 😘
