They set every up to line up from those points and then camera man transitions between all those points. It still takes a lot of skill to smoothly go from point to point, but he’s not all on his own.
The Loaf I would imagine that they'd just lock the rig into place, the camera operator would just stand outside and wait for it come back around the full rotation to continue the shoot.

This commercial has a lot of digital elements to it: which i think is really awesome.
+ren1nana2 Actually if you watch closely in the BTS video you'll see that the rig the cameraman is using is actually rotating the camera as the room rotates, so the relative angle between the room and camera doesn't change. There's no digital manipulation being done, just a very clever camera rig.

That feels way too polished but it’s still super impressive. All the little imperfections and almosts in The Writing’s On The Wall were what made it so cool and showed that “hey, this was all one take and there’s no way this is CGI”
