My son owns a pair of pretty expensive nubuck sneakers ($450) which are in great condition asides from the blueberry colour which has faded drastically. Their website says you can only protect them and after emailing them, they don’t recommend doing anything to bring the colour back. I’d love to know if you think I should listen to them or go with my gut and do as per this video? Thanks

I have a goat leather jacket which says it is a washed leather but it looks like a nubuck to me. It is a matte finished leather. I don't know how to maintain it and what conditioning to apply. Kindly help. Thanks.
