We don’t have a staircase. We only have a 2 bedroom home and I want it to be beautiful decorated this year for Christmas. My mother in law is 86 this year and we’re expecting a new grandson December 5th. Such a happy year ❤

You are my favorite decorator! I have a black & white staircase. Black banister and railing with white spokes and black stairs with white risers. I wanted to do garland under the railing so we can still use the railing so thanks for these great ideas! Happy holidays to you and everyone reading this comment. Let the decorating begin!!!
I live in a condo so no staircase but I do have a big long dinning table and I apply that method, a long garland with white lights, picks with red berries, tiny white flowers, a big vase with magnolia leaves ( love them ) and my central or focal point are Swedish gnomes, I have a tiny family of tree, mom, dad and kid, they always make smile when in the morning I come down my hallway and see that family surrounded by lights, red berries and tons of green...waiting and dying to see more videos, it's going to look amazing as always...thanks, you sound tired and I know that that is a lot of work, stairs are difficult...stay well, we do love your work.

I have a staircase. Every year I say I am going scale down my Christmas decorating efforts and then when the time comes, I am like you, and spend two hours decorating the staircase, and two hours decorating tree(s) and two hours adorning other areas and fixtures, etc….. . I often love the feel, look and result, but throughout the whole process, I ask myself why do I spend so many hours/days/weeks decorating and cleaning for just one day? It’s a lot of work! Thanks for all the tips and ideas. I am getting excited for this year’s Christmas decorating masochism!! 😉😁😩

We have a beautiful wooden staircase in our 115 year old home, and I have always had a simple green garland with burgundy ball ornaments and beautiful burgundy ribbons. I have the same concerns of being able to access the hand rail for safety. It has always been decorated simply but seeing this makes me want to zhuzh it up! Love your videos! You always get my creative juices flowing.

I have three levels of this New Orleans style wrought iron and marble staircase with each floor having the rises broken up in three sections with two landings. Thank God we have an entire in our loft......great space...funky as can be....it is our first Christmas here .......as we moved rom a pre war highrise. So I stand and stare.....wish and dream.....but my energy has been focused on the rest of the loft and making use of new xmas decor and blending with decor we did not give to friends. Next year I will plan ahead and start in August from a trial run on said staircase. LOL......Blessings and Peace from Missouri!! Robb
U are such in ur zone when it comes to staircase garland. I do not have one in mine but my mother in laws house does and we always decorate it however seeing ur arches from last year gave me a great idea for my entrace into my kitchen from the family room so thankyou
Hello Rebecca. I don't have a staircase, but I do have mantles and doorways that I can use for some of your tips on creating a lovely garland display. Rebecca I only have a 5 step staircase outside from the patio down to the garden but I will be decorating it for Christmas especially now got fixed up. Hi Rebecca! Your staircase looks absolutely beautiful…love the natural elements and sparkle you have used to which is my personal style. I have always used natural elements to my decorating for Christmas with touches of sparkle here and there. Regarding the staircase, no, I don’t have one. However, I do have a “mantle” behind our wood stove to which I decorate. I use a little bit of a mix of greens, long red pine with cedar. Sometimes it’s a nice mix of faux and real greens, dogwood berries and some white lights. Great video and cannot wait until to see the tour!🥰

We do have a stair way. But is kind of hiding, and that is why, we do not use to put decorations on it. Its right next to the wall, so we feel is not necessary🤗💐🌷🌻
I love the way you decorate for Christmas. You are very talented and creative and your staircase looks absolutely amazing. Everything that you do is gorgeous. I'm moving to a new home in Texas and I have a lot and I mean a lot of stair rails. I have no idea how I'm going to decorate it because the house I just sold didn't have as much railing. I know one thing, I will have to buy a lot more garland and picks. When I think about it, I get so overwhelmed.
No staircase...but I use the garland ideas to put over the top of my curvy french country hutch. Thank you Rebecca for all your hard work. I have watched you Christmas inspiration for about 10 years and you have me feel like we are old friends.
The only staircase we have is the wheel chair ramp outside (we call it the stroller ramp hahaha), however like you said the same principles used to decorate can be implemented in other areas. I love your natural forest theme this year for decor!! Finally a Christmas decor theme without all the bells and ornaments! I have a wrap around staircase. Hand rails go all along the wall. However, their is a small banister in the middle. Because of the handrail, I can lay a garland on top of the banister rail. It takes one garland. I am more traditional nostalgic Christmas. I do have a nice snowman collection. Need some larger ones however, most are on the small side.
No staircase in my house! I’ll love the idea of finding the extension cord through the garlands. And the way you did the extension cord up through the tree in your other video, was genius! I’ve never used fairy lights in the center of the tree but will give it a whirl this time and I wonder how to plug them in! Problem solved. Thanks
We have two staircases (we also have a basement). I decorate with garland but definitely want newer, more realistic garland like what you have!

Thankfully, no staircase. We downsized some years ago. I do not missed the stairs. But, I did enjoy decorating them for Christmas.
I do have a staircase at home it came with the house but I really love the garland idea I did that one time last a few years ago not last year but a few years ago with actual real life smelling garlands and it smelled the whole house or the whole house I mean smells so good
