Actually, the reverb Return is on the front and the Send is on the back panel. Two Rock amps imo really meld well with single coils. That Strat sounds beautiful. Rich chimney tone.
Positively... one of the best amp reviews ever. Expensive. Two Rock deserve the accolades. They got the tone thang nailed.....but you git' what you pay for...hands down.
Great sounding amp and demo. For the people complaining about the cost, it’s like gas & groceries, everything cost more. If you want to own some of the best you have to pay up, even a hand wired Fender Princeton is over $2500. Go and demo one and see if it is the amp for you. It might be one of the last amps you’ll buy.
Absolutely great amp and very useful. Yes, they are expensive, but they are so worth it if they cover all the territory you need. For a player like me it could do everything, and it's perhaps the only boutique amp I've been considering. I've owned other boutique amps including Boogies, but Two-Rock is more my style these days. One thing Two-Rock do well is they consider how an amp should feel. Like the Dumble I tried about 40 years ago, they feel great and responsive. Most amps feel like they're missing something at a certain point. An amp like this gives you everything. And unlike a Dumble, Two-Rocks work incredibly well with pedals. But best of all, they sound so damned good you can get away plugging straight in.
Digging the vibe of the “bastard” guitar.. LP jr. Mini buckers, one Grover tuner on low E, Billy F Gibbons paint job in gold.. turning green perfectly, tortoise Tele style guard.. oh yeah.. Amp sounds good too! (Butt that’s in your fingers)
Two-Rock makes perfect amps.....fantastic tones...their range covers pretty much anything a guitar player would ever need. The only "bad" thing I can come up with is that they are SO expensive..way out of the reach of most players. But it seems that today MOST tube amps are getting more and more expensive.....the way of the world, it seems.....
Any one think Bollinger even owns a two rock that he paid for full price.i doubt it dude probably has a real dumble he's been around long enough to have gotten hip to em before it was too late
I have a question to Premier Guitar. Could you interview some country players? As that style is not as known by the world as it is in the USA. I allso believe that most playing techniques used in metal came from country picking.
I feel you, but these are like the last forever amp you would ever need, if you wanted to have 'your sound'. Sometimes you need to spend more just to never have that feeling you 'compromised', which is a feeling that can haunt you forever.
@@flybynight1929 understood, but, if you gig with it, I guarantee the normal audience member won't know the difference if you were playing a 100 dollar used crate amp or a 5k boutique amp after you get the whole band blasting out. If you are only using it at home and don't want to risk taking it out, I guess thats your choice. Personally, my forever amp is one that I can get and still eat dinner....lol
Thank goodness someone finally came out with a $6,500 fender clone. There are many excellent options out there but I need something that performs like a Dr. Z but that only very wealthy people like me can buy. I don’t like knowing that there are much better, gigging guitarists playing the same amp as me. Now I can play my vintage guitars in my home office (or carefully place them so that they can be admired during Zoom calls) knowing that I have the very best that my large amount of money can buy.
@@EMWoodworking Mercy! I was being ironic but wow that is a lot of money for an amp! In all seriousness, if there is someone making something and there are folks who want to buy it I'm all for it. I hope they pay their workforce fairly.
“Wakens up everything” “If you can’t drown out a drummer when you need to, what good is it?” - what a compelling statement to tout the brilliance of an amp. NOT! “good on ya?” “they really did think of everything” your favorite part of the amp is the tremolo?” If that’s true, you don’t need a Two Rock you need a pedal. Two Rock is about TONE. come on man this review is super clumsy. It’s reviewed kind of like someone who has never played an amp before.

John one of the best well done amp reviews period. Great playing to really hear the amps dynamics.
Glad you liked it!
That gain knob for the tone-stack bypass is EVERYTHING.
John sure knows how to make a guitar sing. Kudos to Two-Rock on another gem.
Even better sounding with the strat!
More John Bohlinger jams please. Two Rock sounds awesome.
Great playing John!
What a super cool intro!! Love JB. Sounding Great

Big J Nasty coming at em’ with some GREASE in that intro

Thank You for not Laughing like you always do.
Sounds like true quality❤
Another champagne demo John
When I decided to be a musician I had no idea I needed to also be a dentist to support my music career.
Thanks, that was the best laugh I've had all day 😊
Truly something 😮 Two Rock amps ❤
That’s one of the sweetest Les Paul’s I’ve ever seen. The tortoise pick guard is cool af. Amp is crap compared to my vintage line 6 spider 2
After i rob my first bank i'll buy one!!
Tone’s in the handcuffs
When it comes to Two Rock Amps , it's either the car or the amp.
Just drive an old car......

Just bought a Bloomfield, its too good for my ability, but ill grow it to it.

This amp is amazing but also check out the Magnatone Twilighter

Killer amp John!
What makes this worth more than a handwired deluxe reverb ?
That pinstriping/pickguard are sick! Made the Gibson people cringe though 🤣. Playing is awesome as usual.
John do you like this or the bloomfield?
I think nothing beats Strat > Two Rock amp.
That opening track! That was sensational.
Wish I could. WAAAAAY out of my price point as a family man and disabled veteran.
Sweet! 👍🏼🎸😊
J.B! 🤘👽👽👽🎸
Nice intro bud

A tone machine. 👍
Tasty intro track John!
Great amp, prefer the Bloomfield Drive
Great Sound!! \M/
6V6 or 6L6 ,, ? Witch one to choose ?
What is the name of the song you started playing around 9:07?
“Son of A Preacher Man” by Dusty Springfield. It’s on an album called “ Dusty in Memphis” which is fantastic.
Sounds like some high frequencies are lost when reducing the output on the back.
Looks like how I string my guit. Ive lost my string cutter ok! Not my fault!
You could put an eye out with that thing! 😂

John
..sell me that guitar.
who can afford these overblown priced amps....like 5 or 6k for that thing????

I think the price is closer to $8,000.00 Not what the average guitar player is going fork out.

$9000 here in Canada 😮
Weird. Thats what we pay for health insurance for a year in the States. 😜
4 % body fat
Shut up and take my money 💰
Only for the rich and famous
I'm sure the amp is cool but I can't get past the bastardized looking Gibby. What's the story on that?
It’s fugly
Hmmm 666 subs

I've never been played an amp before. Pod Kidney is all anyone needs.
