I’ve owned a couple of the Epedition models and loved the comfort and the additional height you get with the larger SUV’s. Back when I had mine they were “Eddie Bauer” editions. This new model is a great SUV but the $70,000 to $80,000 price tag is way over my comfort zone. Great videos sir.
A shorter video today as I stumbled upon more than a fair share of issues for this review. Due to the frigid temperatures, a lot of my equipment have incredibly short battery lives. Not my best video, but still worth sharing. Thanks for watching, here's to the summer time!
Great video. One thing you mentioned concerned me when I heard it. You said the 2018 model felt a bit clunky when you were talking about the 10 spd transmission. You mentioned in 2019 you were driving in the video did not feel that way. I am getting ready to finalize the deal on a 2018 Ford Exp Max Platinum with 20K miles on it and hope I am not making a mistake based on the clunky assessment you made of the same yr and model? Pls provide me your thoughts and I am not nor will I take your thoughts and response as guidance; rather as a direct personal experience and nothing more brother. Standing by.
Looks beautiful in that red on snow. It fits the environment so much better than those low riding Volvos you been testing. Feels confident. I only wish a V8 option was available, otherwise a perfect vehicle. Gorgeous interior and exterior. A fine update and competitor for my still favorite big SUV the Chevy Tahoe. But fine job Ford.
I was a skeptic as well, but the 3.5 V6 EcoBoost is a beast of an engine and outperforms most any V8 . Im a former Chevy guy but the 5.3 gm doesnt hold a candle to the EcoBoost V6 and we have the V6 in our fleet vehicles pulling tractors and farm equipment on the regular. The do the job and are reliable.
I tried your musical lead, and downloaded that Walk Off the Earth tune. Sweet. Nice truck, but I can’t imagine maneuvering that rig in downtown Toronto, where I’m at! And I can’t for the life of me understand why Ford aren’t consistent with their naming hierarchy. Dumb.
I use to own one it was 2000it was horible on on fuel. But this one could be better matirial in interior . The rest looks ok but my GLS is way better .
My God, how can the 3rd row on this giant thing be reserved for smaller children? What in the world do you have to buy to have a 3rd row that is adult friendly?

You can buy one today for $39000, and nicely equipped at $44900.
The headlight design on this truck is actually really well done!
Agreed

I am rarely treated with that of compliment, hope you enjoy the song! There’s a few others I regularly play when filming, maybe you’ll like those too!
I want it happy valentine's day
Me too
I hope they release a diesel. 5 kilometers per liter in city is extremely poor fuel economy. How is this "Eco" in anyway?

Lol Walt the V6 EcoBoost will eat your GLS for lunch......hands down

Telluride or Palisade
Including X7 as a pricier option to consider
