I think this movie is awesome since I keep coming back to it. The eerie hologram scenes and the details in the ships and strange story of the giant humans. Guess this movie will age like wine such as Kubrick. Ridley Scott remember is one of our great directors.
This is so cool to watch as I have always dreamt about watching so much of the making of this movie. But if I may say, the repetitive music dull things a bit. Anyway, I mute it and play something else along. Very great footage nonetheless, thanks for sharing them with us !
I loved this movie, it’s kind of stupid that people were pissed that there was like what, two scenes where humans made a mistake and died for it. So we didn’t get a conclusion to one of the best modern science fiction films from the past 20 years 😑 but meanwhile a marvel film with the same box office gets a full trilogy
Way more than 2 lol but the issue was that Prometheus brought in a lot of people new to this story universe who were unfamiliar with it, not knowing this is a grimdark story universe that is nonstop showcasing the worst of humanity and where everything turns out terrible for all the characters all the time, newbies were intrigued and mesmerized but hilariously hopeful and optimistic about how the story would go and then they were big mad the engineers are just disappointing evil buff fetus guys, they were just as upset as Shaw herself lol, and they were irritated with how dumb the crew was not realizing yes it is a mockery of real life arrogant rich people thinking they can mastermind everything and failing, Weyland was basically 90 year old jeff bezos in space cutting corners, ignoring safety, thinking he can handpick the perfect crew etc and it's a dumb disaster but that's literally the point / idea
Prosthetic body parts all made in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire by Millennium FX…. Prosthetic teeth made in Holmer Green, Buckinghamshire by Fangs FX….British ‘cottage industries’….the big go to for Hollywood!
Hate to say it, but a lot of this footage looks better than what wound up in the film. I think Ridley and his editor really lowered the quality of these sequences shown here. Scott is guilty of MTV edits and thinks he's still making TV commercials, in which faster cutting = better. It doesn't. PLUS when one sees all the great stuff that wound up on the cutting room floor with the big alien, it's a sin... I personally think the film was ruined by dropping all that. I have seen fan-edits where all the footage was restored and Yes the film was definitely much better and far more satisfying. Sometimes Sir Ridley is the worst enemy of his films -- just look at all the different versions of Bladerunner and the first Alien.
Wow, its so cool they got an actual Engineer to be so cooperative during the filming.
Truly a superior species.
Can we please appreciate the awsome acting performance of Noomi Rapace ?❤
For reals! She's dynamite w great acting chops, tough, athletic, and intelligent at no cost to her feminine qualities! Very lovely woman.❤
@@henryb.little3399and cute too
Directors who understand the importance of using practical and visual FX, and know how to combine them always produce a superior product.
It's crazy how so much manpower can be put into a scene/prop/effect that gets completely left out of the final film. I'd be crushed
the critics didn't like this movie. But I find it pretty cool.
Me too.
Same here, bro 👍
Same. :3
Yes there should have been a sequel of the Prometheus which could have an engineer story rather than shitty xenomorph
Love the Engineers 🧑💻
the fact that there is so much more material then we actually saw in the movie is killing me!
They hired a real alien to play the engineer 😅
No need for CGI, just hire a real giant
Amazing talent and the best director of all time.

he was until the COVENANT rubbish....
It i s mind blowing the production that went into this story. I found it fascinating.

Me and You both! 🙌
Turns out, engineer was a cool guy after all.
really appreciated for this video thats why i subscribed this channel, its really beautiful to see a behind scenes of our beloved movies

love this movie ,hope to see the following story
after watching these videos im even more haunted 😅😱😨🫣🫠
A first class film….Scott really is consistently excellent over the years. That actor is a big big guy…😂
Un travail de perfection 👍

Good movie but change the music please !!
How tall are those actors that play the engineers? Anyone know? They look huge.
Prosthetic body parts all made in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire by Millennium FX…. Prosthetic teeth made in Holmer Green, Buckinghamshire by Fangs FX….British ‘cottage industries’….the big go to for Hollywood!
That octopus monster was disgusting. 😂
Naomi is my absolute dream women...so beautiful and a very powerful body
need PROMETHEUS 2.... space jockeys/
engineers/walter/cloned dr shaw.... tennessee/daniels.... VERSES....

Noomi Rapace is so cute
I liked it and covenant to
13:24 Muy buena toma, no?
I'll like this movie if someone can explain to me why scientists try to pet an obviously hostile, hissing alien serpent😐

If it weren't for a few realy dumb scenes that take you right out if the movie, I'd call this movie great.
The music sucks badly !OMG
Sucks this movie never got a decent sequel. Covenant was terrible.
More like "The furious audience", who had to put up with this space vomit.
Who this big guy is in the character of the engineer? I meant Dr Shaw is looking very small in front of him.
Not much, but there are people who are 2 meters tall or more, who seem even taller compared to people who are 1.60 meters tall.
