- You know, I love traveling to countries and trying their local dishes, but after getting to know the local dishes a little bit, it would be a real shame, if I didn't see what and where chefs are taking Indian cuisine, so I decided to try eating at one of India's top rated restaurant's Varq.
With 5 courses but each course with huge portions or multiple dishes, this is the fullest I have ever been at the end of a find dining course or tasting menu. From South to North, the play on presentation, flavor, and story was something that will be ingrained in my memory for a very long time.
But the best part of tonight was the whole staff, thanks to Thomas and Mohit, for the friendliness and exceptional service.

Thanks to everybody at VARQ, I know India is world renown for it's street food and traditional dishes, but I must say it was really an exquisite experience trying fine dining for the first time in India, at VARQ.
Would you all want to try this out?? Maybe I can take a subscriber the next time I am in India to something like this.
Are you still in India ?
my best bro daily max chirs you both looks handsome thank you for your huge respect against cpec friendship countries lot of love from your cousin viki 💙
India also has few of the best Resturants and Buffets in the world, I remember the Buffet the food blogger named (Strictly Dumpling) went to in Mumbai, one of the best Buffets I have seen
Superb.
Love you bro ❤️
come with your love intrest here again this place is not for alone bro
Head Chef Hemant Oberoi was involded during the infamous Mumbai 26/11 attacks at the Taj Mumbai. He was shot in the arm and was instrumental in guiding/leading his staff to help the Customers of the Hotel to safety and he himself saved many lives that time. He is a one of the legendary Chefs from India.
I just came here to say that! thank you!
Yes exactly he is! Love him the most! ❤️

"When you come to India there is lot of eating and not a lot of working out". Truer words have never been spoken

Gayest words that have ever been spoken in a gay-ass food video.

As someone that has worked in Indian fine dining at the Oberoi's I can attest you'll always get a lot of attention from the serving staff at these 2 hotel chains Taj and Oberoi. There's a lot of pride at work
Thanks Max for sharing with your followers a luxury dinner in India. Amazing.🤟❤
My pleasure 😊
I’m going to make a reservation in January, Brother! Thanks for sharing.
Have fun!
Super upset I was on vacation when you were here! But I hope my team took great care of you and I do hope I get the chance to cook you up a storm in the future.

This man dining in a such a nice place all alone. He just has the camera with which he's sharing his thoughts. You're also very nice to the restaurant staff. I guess this makes you enjoy yourself, when you dont have anyone else. Cheers man🍻
Dude you're so awesome.🤩 You liked. Got a really good follower. Cheers Man🍻
He never was alone we all enjoyed the food with him
Yes. Having such a family is more valuable than a real family sometimes. Sometimes even strangers on the Internet can become the best mates no real human beings can be
One of the first times I've seen such beautiful food where the portions are also not small!
I think it's very small for ,5000 + taxes
the humanity of the guy is amazing , no matter whoz the person he greets everyone with soo much respect , luv u man
I just love the accent with which the hotel staff spoke in English. You can tell where they are from! So priceless!
Not gonna lie, the best food vlog I saw ever on youtube.
Your temperament and attitude is so nice, I watched your 3 videos in one go.
They are seriously awesome.
Much love from lucknow, India.
Keep up the great work 👏👏👏.
Love ur vibes man. So polite, positive and down to earth. Great video.
You are a role model humble being, so polite and a dictionary gentleman. If half of people become like you, this earth would become heaven in itself!!
Btw Watching good food makes Hungry, so i am off to fill up my tummy. Have a pleasant stay in 🇮🇳
Max: Thank you for featuring a nice fine-dining restaurant from one of India's best hotels on your channel. We often feel frustrated about only low end experiences being put out by media and influencers. Truth is that a large section of the urban population in India has a lifestyle which is better than what many people in other parts of the world picture it to be.
yeah, no problem. A lot more to come!
Tbh it's good to show both and there's nothing wrong in showing the non glamourous restaurants. Those food shops are the place most of the Indians go to, only elites who are a little part of India's population go to these stuff. " low end experience" as you call it is the real authentic Indian food scene
@@raguram9343 Nope
@@raguram9343 yes and he calls street food or dhaba as low end experience and he is frustrated with that as if its something derogatory
The unique food culture of a nation u get only at dhabas, roadside eatiers and Street hawkers
And it is nt that they are unhygienic
It would be nice to enforce hygiene that includes wearing gloves and uniforms to the street vendors. I see some South American street vendors wearing them and they also have clean utensils and clean surroundings. It would not be a tall order.
Actually Drum Stick leaf is a tropical tree that is known as Moringa leaf in the west. It is very popular in some areas in USA.
It is considered to be a superfood.

I loved watching your India trip videos. You are such a fabulous person and your love for India and seeing the good things (but not complaining about things in India) is super-commendable.
I love your way of mingling with locals and touring like a local Indian and eating at street food stalls is amazingly awesome.
I am from India and I am learning a lot of good things from you. I was amazed when I watched you donating the walnuts & cashews you purchased to your Airbnb host people. I just subscribed . You are a real foodie, up there with the Mark Wienes and Mike Chens of RUclips. Your interactions with the staff was respectful, down to earth and friendly. My only criticism is, I wish you had more up front closeups of the dishes yet I do realize how awkward it would be to film excessively in such a prestigious restaurant!
