The photographs of the Google Pixel 8 Pro are taken at 12 mpx, if you take them at 50 mpx with the main sensor, and at 48 mpx in the ultra wide angle, and especially in the 5x Zoom (since this is mandatory, since the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra makes them all at 50 mpx and not at 12 mpx, here you have made a mistake and you are favoring Samsung), they are all better on the Pixel 8 Pro, day, night and in all situations, in zoom The Pixel 8 Pro is much better, both at 5x, 10x, 30x, and in all zoom ranges, but you have to take the photographs with the maximum resolution of all the sensors (which is there for a reason and that is why it has it) .

Very simple, because I have the Google Pixel 8 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, I have done a lot of tests and comparisons, AND THE PIXEL 8 PRO IS FAR SUPERIOR TO THE S24 ULTRA. I'm already tired of RUclipsrs paid by brands, who in exchange for money or gifts try to wash the image of the brands that pay them when they screw up with their devices, which is exactly what has happened with the S24 Ultra, which has been a downward rehash with errors everywhere, and they no longer know what to do to sell it.
I would agree...it's disgusting the hidden advertising and bias reviews....YT needs to enforce a rule that such films are clearly labelled as advertising....
I tried the S22 ultra last year and pixel 8 pro against my ageing p30pro and while the photos are better, they are not so much better as to merit a 1200USD price tag....in fact I am shocked 5 years after the p30pro came out the Americans and Koreans are only now catching up.
Due to false reviews I am gonna stick to Chinese flagships and watch Samsung end up like IBM....

Same. The Pixel falls apart when it comes to zoom but everything else, I'm taking the Pixel.
The colors of the S24U are generally more realistic - during the day it is even visible in the slightly blue sky - because the P8P's photos are often overlaid with a reddish tint, which is also clearly visible here in several photos (e.g. beach sand). The P8P's photos are often brighter, but this is not always beneficial. The Samsung also has the advantage when shooting videos, the image is more stable, especially when zooming. (What is this image jumping, strong shaking on the Pixel?)
The highlights are handled better by Samsung, with the Pixel they often burn out. However, the evening blue sky is reproduced more beautifully by the Pixel, because it is often purple on the S24U.
From the 2nd half of the test video, the P8P already has the advantage in the evening uw and Main camera recordings, due to the clearer, noise-free videos. In zoom, however, the S24U is better even at night.

Good test, I just miss the sunny day shots before sunset. When testing the videos, it would have been more correct to place the 2 mobile phones on the same holder, rather than in separate hands!

The pixel looks like it's showing real people and things and everything in the Samsung is a sort of detailed illustration. So the pixel is a camera, and the Samsung is a phone. I'll wait.
The pixel performed poorly in the 5x zoom. But has beaten the s24 in all other areas.

Pixel video needs work. It jitters in zoom footage, and it's low light noise is quite poor. S24 Ultra wins here. Photowise, the Pixel has more muted colours, but I can't say if they are realistic or not as I was not present when the photos were taken. I had expected the 24 Ultra to overexpose often, but it didn't. It traded well with the Pixel shot for shot, and I was surprised to call this a draw between the two. I would have given the Pixel the win had it been shown that Samsung still has a shutter speed issue; but reviewers are not looking to see if this problem has yet been addressed. I don't understand why?.
It's not much of an issue anymore, and you have the option in settings to prioritize shutter speed which helps practically eliminate it.
