One of my favorite Nick Fury lines for sure.
That skrull was playing chess flawlessly while Fury was playing checkers. To take out a highly skilled veteran agent like Hill so easily was something to see. I need every episode to deliver this hard. RIP Agent Hill 2012-2025.

I cannot believe they did this. What a horrible way to pay Colbie the respect she deserves, Emilia just walks in and replaces her and didnt even have to put her time in. The fact they finally gave Maria Hill a tribute video and then go and do her dirty like that in the first episode. Can we just talk about how, she says more with those glares than words
RIP Maria Hill. You had a great run. Totally sick and badass warrior who was completely non-super and human. Hope this death is for real though, because easily reversible "deaths" in the MCU start to lose all their impact and gravitas after awhile. All the new characters since Phase 4 don't really leave room for Hill to do anything in the future movies anyways, so this was a good send-off point. Like it or not, heroes have to die fighting the good fight once in awhile or there's never anything really at stake. They don't actually "put their lives on the line" if death is never an actual possibility. Like the slaveowner said, ""The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots."

This is THE commander Hill,the underrated avenger and you Marvel pay her dust.This is all the screen time she had in over 3movies ,that is a crime. Cobie loves this character and she plays such an important role in the comics. We would have loved to see her in more things and yet you chose to kill her the first time we were gonna see Maria’s depth as Cobie said. I hope we could still see her as a skrull or maybe bring the Tahiti program too!?!
