Disagree. Nat become into a good character.
Starts as an object in Iron Man 2, she was just there to shot her boot.
Then in avengers and winter soldier give her a little bit more of own agency but in Ultron come back to be there just as the damsel in distress and got lots of girl cliches as story line.
It was form Civil War that the character starts to be treat consistently as a person (Marvel level of narrative obviously)
All this was mostly Scarlett Johansson work, she fought for the character dignity and she won.
Black Widow is my favourite Avenger. It's not the same without her. I miss the character so much. I wish she was still around.

I love Scarlett Johansson portrayal of the character, her smile is unbelievably perfect. I wish she was still around, with that said the black widow from What If is a much better written character. She looks believable when fighting strong dudes, her outlook looks amazing and I wish she could somehow end up as a live action character. Obviously I'd like ScaJo to make a come back but it has been ages now and I doubt it will happen.
Natasha Romanoff is one of the best written characters ever. She has always been my favorite Marvel character and will always be. She is one of very few characters without any super power/strenght and yet she is so skilled and amazing. She got taken away from her family and got her fertality taken from her at a really young age, but still she had such a big heart and literally sacrificed her life for the world even tho she didn´t have anyone.... Nat was a strong woman and so inspiring. I´m so mad she died, i really wish she got more movies like Thor, Iron man, Spider-man etc. She is so missed and will always have a special place in my heart
Agreed... i also LOVE Scarlet's portrayal of BLACK WIDOW from selfish double agent who would betray anyone for a mission to a fiercely loyal friend to ultimately selfless heroine in ENDGAME. Let me not get started on how AMAZING her action scenes from WINTER SOLDIER and CIVIL WAR were. They did her wrong by not giving her her own movie before ANT MAN 1 and 2, GUARDIANS of the GAALAXY 1 and 2, BLACK PANTHER, CAPTAIN MARVEL, Dr. STRANGE while Natasha was introduced in Iron Man 2 even before THOR and CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!

That Loki interrogation scene is arguably my favorite piece of screenwriting in the film.
It's the one skill no other Avengers members could replicate, superpowers or not.
The she sort of became a token love interest in a lot of appearances (esp Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron), which broke my heart a little.

Watching agents of shield I realized that fury made lie detector tests specifically for agent Romanoff and she still beat them... Her mind capacity is unparalleled in the avengers

Natasha never acts this seriously in problems but they made her serious so that she looks boring and Yelena' gets all the humor. But Nat is THE BLACK WIDOW and forever will be. Yelena is a black widow. This movie would have been perfect after CW and before IW. But They had to make capain marvel the first female movie. Nat is really the best female character in MCU because her character was grey, she wanted redemption, she cared but never showed, she was intelligent, she was manipulative, she was the bravest, and with her intelligence she was strong
@@rainy.aesthetics agreed, on nat. Florence wasn’t Yelena through, I liked Yelena in the comics and that wasn’t her at all. Natasha in endgame was more like Yelena, then Florence. But she had the writer’s ear, so she got a lot of stuff added that just didn’t fit. And yes it wasn’t Natasha in black widow, sometimes it was, but a lot of times it wasn’t. I wish they would have used the original 2000’s script, or got a fan to write it.

This episode of Marvel Studios Legends made me hyped for her solo film including Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as Natasha Romanoff for her final MCU appearance with Florence Pugh as Yelena (my favorite character in film). I will never forget that time when I was excited for the Black Widow movie.

I really don't care about them. They're really annoying, but that goes for all Marvel movies. (someone said natasha was the best in catws, cat and nick fury in captain marvel, natasha in iron man 2 was the best) It's annoying because people really exaggerate. Most people didn't even care about Yelena (my friend couldn't even remember her name after the movie)

The movie should have come out right after civil war, so nat would get the treatment she deserved. Yelena even had more solo screen time. It was all just to set up thunderbolts, that’s the only reason they made marvel’s black widow. It wasn’t for Natasha, fans, or Scarlett. It was to introduce Red Guardian, Yelena, Taskmaster, and the rest of the thunderbolts cast. Natasha was just there for looks and to be Yelena’s joke. The writers humiliated Natasha more than they gave her solo screen time.

Marvel Legends is an action figure line. That said, MSL (S1E7) - "Loki" premiered on Disney+ on June 4, 2021, before Loki (S1).

Related but still; I wish Antonia Dreykov was an automomous villain. She had all the reasons to have a grudge against Natasha, should have learned what she did when Antonia was a kid, no amount of "Avengering" would have made Antonia change her mind from purposely becoming the Taskmaster (preferably, Iron Maiden, even if she'd not called that per se) to torture Nat and maybe even control her better than Daddy Dreykov could. Daddy Dreykov shouldn't have survived and she should've had a good relationship with him for a change. Them holding OLGA KURYLENKO'S acting back, and not allowing her to bounce off of Scarlett Johansson is CRIMINAL! I'll never let the writers slide for that.

But my concern is if the project actually is black widow, is that it will be some multiverse knock off, or more in the past stuff. The second season is scheduled to debut on Disney+ on October 6, 2023, and will consist of six episodes. It will be part of Phase Five of the MCU.All six episodes were written by Eric Martin,[4] with Kasra Farahani and Jason O'Leary co-writing the third episode, and Katharyn Blair co-writing the fourth episode.[1] Benson and Moorhead directed the majority of episodes,[4] including the fifth.[2] Dan DeLeeuw and Farahani also directed episodes.[5]Martin.[1] Waldron said the season would continue the story of the first season but in a way that felt different, subverted expectations, and explored "new emotional ground" for Loki.[31] Hiddleston explained that Loki is once again with the Time Variance Authority (TVA) and working with Mobius M. Mobius, despite Mobius not remembering Loki, and has confronted Sylvie about her actions at the end of the first season.[32] He added that the second season would be "a battle for the soul of the TVA".[33] The season will help connect the entire Multiverse Saga of the MCU.[34]

Hiddleston, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Owen Wilson, and Sophia Di Martino return from the first season as Loki, Ravonna Renslayer, Hunter B-15, Casey / Hunter K-5E, Miss Minutes, Mobius M. Mobius, and Sylvie, respectively.[7][35] Jonathan Majors also returns in the season, portraying Victor Timely, another variant of He Who Remains, who he portrayed in the first season, and Kang the Conqueror, who he played in the film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023); Timely was also introduced at the end of Quantumania,[16][17] appearing in that film's mid-credits scene. Director Peyton Reed stated that the usage of the scene had felt natural due to the MCU's focus on multiversal stories, and the fact that the season and film were being concurrently developed.[36] Neil Ellice also returns as Hunter D-90.[7] Cordero and Ellice were made series regulars for the season.[12][5] In May 2022, Feige stated that the "whole cast" would return from the first season.[37][38]
In July 2022, Rafael Casal was confirmed to be cast in an undisclosed "major role" in the season,[39] the actor Brad Wolfe.[13][needs update?] In September, Ke Huy Quan was revealed to have been cast as TVA agent and technologist Ouroboros "OB".[34][8][18] Feige personally reached out to Quan to ask him if he was interested in joining the MCU following the success of his return to acting in the film Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022).[40] In December, Kate Dickie was revealed to have been cast in an undisclosed role, reportedly as a villain.[15] In June, Liz Carr was revealed to be part of the cast.[5]

Principal photography began on June 13, 2022,[41] at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom,[42] with Benson and Moorhead directing the majority of the episodes,[4] alongside Dan DeLeeuw and Kasra Farahani,[5] and Isaac Bauman serving as cinematographer.[43] It was previously reported to begin in January 2022, under the working title Architect.[19][44] In July 2022, location filming occurred throughout London,[45] and at the Chatham Historic Dockyard in Kent;[46] the set photos indicated a 1970s setting for some of the season.[45][47] Filming concluded in October.[48] The budget for pre-production and filming was $141.3 million.[49]
