Hi, This was not filmed in 1992. N658UA was not even built and delivered to United until 1993, so I am assuming this was mid 1994 especially based on the Asiana Visit Korea 1994 sticker. Great video!
I am so thankful for these amazing videos of an incredible time in commercial air travel, 1988-1998. It really is something to see the 747’s coming taxiing around, coming in on the approach, and taking off. What a marvel those planes are. I was also a fan of the DC-10 which got an unfair rap, my first flight I remember being on was a dc10 USAir flight in 1989. Great memories

Amazing! The old AC and OZ liveries were cool to see, and I went legitimately crazy when I saw the Saul Bass livery on the UA 763, 732, and BAe-146, as well as the NWA 744 and UA DC-10. This is gold!
Oh my goodness. What sheer bliss this is. 1080p, check. Transfer to 37" TV screen, check. Transfer sound to surround sound system, check. This was amazing. To be able to watch these classic birds in the old colors from the last of the great era in aviation. It was amazing to watch my favorite 727 in old Delta colors, slowly rotating off of the runway. I love how the 742 and DC10 pilots did the same, slow rotation. Always seemed so magical. Wonderful upload, thank you for sharing!
Great video! I really miss the beautiful paint schemes on EgyptAir, Air Canada, Air New Zealand, United, VASP, Cathay Pacific, and Canadian. Also, awesome catch of N658UA at 7:05. I flew on her IAD-ORD back in 07.

Probably one of the oldest 737s around at the time. United received the first batch of 737-200s built, including the prototype (N9001U, which was also the 5th airworthy 737). That order of airplanes were delivered with the short nacelles and retrofitted with the HPTR later.
