Thank you all for understanding I need to spend some time figuring out motherhood and all that entails. My baby is so young and naturally needs constant care, so my hands are - quite literally - full for the time being ❤ I find it hard to film without showcasing baby, and involving him in videos with a very small community like patreon feels more comfortable and safe for him. I also want to make more casual style videos on a variety of topics, and it's an easier place to experiment with new things. It's just a couple hundred people that comment and chat on there, but it's a very sweet space that has gotten me through some post partum isolation. It's much easier to put effort into just one thing right now instead of stretching myself thin. I appreciate your kindness and understanding. Sending so much love, maybe I will see you again someday, but either way - keep shining your light everywhere you go⭐

Here is a tiny insignificant spot of grief. As A strictly budgeted retired senior I cannot follow you to a paying platform. Once life settles a bit with your new baby you will crave your old job. PatrEon income should be more rewarding than your previous nonpaying RUclips community. I do not understand this nonsensical no child's face on social media. You are either all on or not on. Its like being a little bit pregnant ....

I have found some people don’t know what to do to try to help you because let’s face it- the only thing that would help is if that person was still with you and that’s not possible. When I found this channel I remember thinking "How is she not a mother? She would be the best mom ever", and now we're here. On the one hand I feel a little sad that we won't get videos anymore, but on the other I do agree that it is the best choice. That kid is gonna get all of you, he's lucky beyond belief. I once heard the phrase "You'll always struggle with feeling unproductive until you realize that your own joy is something that you can produce", and well, you're gonna produce a lovely little human being, I have no doubts about it.

I started crying at "Goodbye, Little Fairy." I've recently made some enormous changes that have involved certain doors closing in my own life. Of course I will grieve the loss of "Oh! a new Cottage Fairy Video!" yet I understand completely the need to say goodbye. I am so grateful for the old videos to look back on, they are a continuing source of guidance as I do the great work of simplifying my life and prioritizing what is really important.
