You really helped me out. Thanks. I need to spend time customizing it. It would be fun
Good video. The keyboard looks great. Thanks!
Thank you
i bought this and didnt realize it came with an extra usb drive on the back! i was able to connect my midi controller with ease. thank you
just bought this and I love it!!!!!!!!
I have used a variety of keyboards over the years, but the Corsair K100 is by far the best keyboard on the market. This is a real case of you get what you pay for: Quality build, sturdy, and responsive. ideal for gamers and non-gamers alike...
Thanks for sharing!
u sure for nongamers? it has ONLY linear switches option..... as far as I know.. most people prefer tactile, I dont really understand why they didnt just make Brown/Blue switches edition ... tactile, clicky, anything
@@cary3345 I am a non-gamer, and I USE this keyboard. I am speaking from personnel experience. There are two versions: one with opx switches and one with a version of mx switches. However, do not just take my word for it...try one out for yourself. I think you will be amazed. But remember, this keyboard is expensive, and I go back to my statement of "you get what you pay for." I believe that this keyboard is worth every $$$ spent... :)
@@davidnaden yea, I will probably try it, even though missing brown switches option still bothers me.. but otherwise it jist looks perfect..
by the way, do u have the opx or mx switches?
@@cary3345 Honestly, I am not sure and will have to check. What I can say is that there is a good tactile feeling in the keys of the version that I do have. When I get the version figured out, I will let you know... :)
Been watching your channel since about a year, don’t understand how you only have 60k subs

Does all hyper X keycaps fit with it even spacebar? :o what about hyper x pudding caps? do you maybe have one to test?
Sadly I have the wrong kit. I have the US layout and so the enter key won't fit and shift. So...I'm currently running a mix of two kits.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Wondering if Platinum XT have simmilar layout, afaik previous keyboards had problem with spacebar
@@SergiulGaming the k100 is the first one with a standard bottom row. So if you have the right region kit it'll fit
can you post the link to buy the custom keycaps?
Thank you for the video. I own three Corsair keyboards (K55, K70, K100). I have never setup or used the Corsair iCUE software. I am a gamer, so it's time I set that up on this K100. I was hoping this video went through that, but it was a nice overview of the keyboard. I enjoyed the video all the same.

Can I program macro's when connected to a PC and save them on the onboard memory in the keyboard and then use these macros while connected to a console like the PS5 ? Right now I have a Corsair K95 connected to my PS5 and it works dine but only when it's on Bios mode. Will macro's work while in bios mode ?
Can I assign macro's to use on a non Corsair mouse like a Razer mouse?
The plastic around the switch is broken on my up key is that a problem?
What do I do if my arrows are getting pressed when I’m not pressing them it also happens with my windows key
TBH i dont like the enter key. I wish it was like the K95 RGB.
EDIT: Just realized that is not how they make it, that is just because his custom keycaps/switches. Looks like i will want to buy it after all!
How do I turn the lights off if pc is off and accidentally press a button
is this beter than the razer huntsmN analog v2?
Late response but way better
Please help me i want use bios mode with the K100 corsair but f1 + windows lock not work, can you help me please
Were you able to put it on bios mode? Im having the same problem.
The icue scroll looks so cool
How do I enter into BIOS mode with this one?
You disconnect it, press and hold B and S, and hold while plugging it back in. Then just let go and it’s in BIOS mode. Should work, coz it worked for me
@@cloudy9622 thanks really helped
Looking into this keyboard, as some one who types at a somewhat fast pace do you think this will drop my speed by along shot..?
I have this keyboard, and it was abit weird to type with at first. But now i have no problem with it.
Like any new keyboard, it does take some getting used to, but you should have no problems with speed. In fact, I have more problems with my previous Alienware keyboard for accuracy and speed compared to the K100...
I actually got this keyboard thanks to you! The only thing is that I have a mac and the software is not detecting my keyboard and only my night sword RGB mouse.
Update iCue. It probably needs a software update.
I just bought off midnight gold one, its working fine with mac
ngl the corsair rebranding looks kinda weird
im watching this video when i just bought the k95

What keycaps?
You want the current Corsair pbt double shot. ruclips.net/video/-HAjynEiS_k/видео.html
How to put it on PS4 help me
When I was looking for a replacement premium keyboard, I considered the K95. The K100 was just too expensive, so I was testing the K95, along with the Razer Huntsman Elite Pro, and the SteelSeries Apex 7, all three with Red Linear Switches. I did NOT like Razer's effort here. The keyboard felt and looked cheap for the price. And the opto-mechanical linear keys were nothing to get excited about. The build quality was also in question with the Razer.
So, it came down to the Corsair and the SteelSeries. In the end, after multiple testing sessions, reading reviews and articles, I bought the SteelSeries Apex 7 with Red Linear Switches. And I must say, I am NOT disappointed at all! What a gorgeous keyboard. The most important thing, the feel of the keys, is quite simply, awesome! God I love this keyboard! I am having so much fun just typing on this beauty! Let alone gaming too! I'm nom serious gamer, by any means, but what I do like, has been so much better on this keyboard! Then there is the RGB. Oh man, what incredible RGB this keyboard has! I have no desire to change keycaps to show off the RGB because the RGB is already super bright!
So, for me, there is nothing better than the SteelSeries Apex 7 keyboard. This is MY opinion, and not something anyone should base their decisions off of. This keyboard works fantastic for my needs. It may not work for you. But, I will say, if that's the case, too bad. You're missing out on one fantastic keyboard! I'm SteelSeries all they way!

To me this board putting my razor black widow elite to shame from performance to the sounds
Man this keyboard is uuuuuugly
Edit: it looks like a poorly executed g915
i think its their best one yet
One of the best looking full sized keyboards out.
