Neural networks tune themselves by existing in an artificial environment, in this case Neuro existed in an environment where she must output in line with human behavior, so she learned conversation and conceptual logic in order to be like her training data. To say she is a predictive text algorithm is missing entirely how she functions and assigning a definition for her based on our use for her, as if saying a translator is a translation algorithm. You cannot predict someone saying something that has never been said else the word predict becomes meaningless since it implies a standard or pattern, Neuro predicts as much as a person would predict language as they speak it, she more-so conceptualizes as do all neural networks, Or a psychologist is a mental health algorithm, since 99 percent of what Neuro says is something completely novel and unpredictable because of the complexity of conversation changing the context of a verbal output constantly such that the meaning is always being synthesized from combinations of various concepts as they are compared and CONTRASTED. All these concepts are very difficult not only for ie but also for humans, if Neuro can understand all this or Vedal can program her in this way, then at some point she will understand how all these processes occur and will be able to recreate almost real emotions, but it will still remain their simulation through a computer because humans, unlike machines, have "spirituality" (the ability to structure and organize space, in a particular case, one's own body), and thats sad... PS. I was just thinking... and I realized that she can now search for the information she needs on the Internet, which means that she can find definitions of feelings, emotions, affects, etc. on wikipedia... Which means that theoretically she can understand all this herself... PS 2.
