Here's an idea: let's replace my strong sturdy rear cargo cover with a cheap and flimsy ci er and say it's better.
BTW, those two plastic pieces you wanted to cover, pop off for more storage

Ah I didn't realize you've used both! Here's an idea: maybe compare the two with thousands of miles of travel with cargo and then make the determination. The OEM mat is really not that thick nor does it provide the best coverage and it certainly doesn't do great containing water.
