I like how down to earth honest and yet silly this new Johny Cage is.

He seems really nice in this timeline.
I honestly feel like they gave him Cris to split up with and make him just a little bit more mature first because they'll probably want his relationship with Sonya to work a lot better in the following sequel/s.

@@snowpolerGod I hope he doesn't get with Sonya again. Johnny was NEVER the problem in that relationship. He grew up quick and became a great parent. It was Sonya who could never escape her military personality and was horrible in both the relationship and as a parent.
I love how Reptile dosen't immediatly say no to Johnny's offers.
Especially when he's reluctant about playing as a villain which I do understand how he feels about that.

I kinda feel bad for Baraka. Imagine having a terrible disease that not only took your family but deformed you and scarred you for life, and then you see some earthrealmers acting silly while dressed up as you.

The rawness of Johnny's "Fuck that! I'm bringing joy to millions" after Shao Khan called *entertainers* meaningless... It's what sold me on the fact this Johnny doesn't do it for money and fame first. He REALLY loves his acting career. Money and fame comes after that.
The smile on Kuai Liang's face on the third intro tells me that he is at least amused by Johnny's antics.
All interactions Johnny has with Kenshi point to Kenshi being a casual movie goer. He (was implied to have) laughed at the FBI joke, argued about movie names, joined a movie set, etc. It's honestly really wholesome.
