in 2009 i thought this band would be big, its sad that they didnt get the exposure they deserved. keep making those good music Closure In Moscow, i'll forever be a fan of yours
This band deserves more success! Been listening to them for 4-5 years and its sad to see such great musicians not receiving the praise(s) they deserve over the time period
They sound like Proceed (any Closure in Moscow fans should check them out if they've never heard of them) mixed with Two Door Cinema Club. And I love it.
Saw them at Warped Tour yesterday! They were amazing live! Chatted with them for a while, too. Very nice guys who love their fans. And that Australian accent.....could listen to them talk all day! : )
its nice to see people speak highly of Closure and compare them to great bands of a similar style than rate them gay or posers .... that their audience is still appreciative of the music they produce ...
Just finished a 3-day tour with these dudes last week and I can honestly say they are amongst the nicest dudes I've ever played with. Can't wait for their second album!
I talked to them after a show and asked if they had any Mars Volta influence, and they said no. But they said they will take it as a compliment because Mars Volta are good.
@D34thbybludg30n LOL what?? They are both very unique. It's not just about it being different genres. Listen to I'm Down with Brown Town, The Robot With Human Hair, NASA, etc. Tempo changes, screamed and sung vocals, funk stylings, indie catchiness at times, unconventional song structures, technicality. DGD is JUST as unique if not more than Closure In Moscow.
just back from warped. i hung out with chris and brad for like an hour, and then i saw them play. RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. i didn't feel like i was at a concert until i saw them. and those dudes couldn't be nicer. fucking amazing.
I got to hang out with Chris, Mike, and Beau at Warped tour. They are such awesome guys and they were so amazing live. I hope I get to see them again soon. =]
I just want to see one, ONE music video in RUclips whose comments section not filled and spammed and trolled by dumb arguments about POINTLESS SHIT. I love this band, by the way; they're simply awesome.
I lay awake stuck by this fickle thorn I lay with you so they won't sink In their claws I lay awake while the beasts and the whores Are dancing in, dancing in Dancing in the jaws of a landfill Am I ever gonna let you in before I see it coming? Systematic in decay I'm dying to feel what you feel now You've already been such a sweetheart And I know we all get scared We all get scared Too much head, but too little heart oh honey I want your touch, such a shame That I am numb honey Not meant to be this way Lover, lover, lover you'll never know You'll never know Because, lover, lover breathing Down my neck Incendiary breath And still my lover is a burden Tell me something could you smell my fear? As I lay there Cringing on your bed Maybe my seed found purchase in your soil It's just a fight, a futile fight To feel connected I lay awake stuck by this fickle thorn Instead of tending to its prick I lay infected
them straining when it hits you is just pure emotion to me. Also, a reason high vocals are probably popular is due to like, the decades of rock before this, with like...Motley Crue and Guns N Roses and all that. Glam metal, if you will...they set the bar I suppose.
1O year ago fist time i'm hear this song from my mate...wow it Veryvery Cool 2guitar sound desing Sorry i'm bad eng but.. i love this song I'm Thai🤘🏼🤘🏼
in 2009 i thought this band would be big, its sad that they didnt get the exposure they deserved.

I prefer this album over pink lemonade.
@@Glass_Caskets by far
@@Glass_Caskets imo pink lemonade was a masterpiece but to each their own
This is one of my favorite albums ever written.
Imagine me in 2020 just discovering this band... FFS...
Equal Vision sucks at promoting all these amazing bands wtf
Dude for real, how the hell am I just now hearing this band
They haven't been signed to equal vision for awhile now, this video is from 2009 yo
This band deserves more success! Been listening to them for 4-5 years and its sad to see such great musicians not receiving the praise(s) they deserve over the time period
This album is absolutely stellar. Melodies EVERYWHERE, and it’s straight up ear candy.
they remind me of Fall of troy in a more romantic way
And no screams
Also like Mars Volta
Yeah. If FoT wrote “Songs to make love to” album it’d be Closure in Moscow.
ditto
I am Japanese. I like this band
I am band. I like this Japanese.
You are now the chosen one, Japanese-san.
And I am Azerbaijani. I like it as well
im animated too
...thats important?
Revisiting after years..feels like the first time 💖💖💖 I love you guysss ever since middle school
They sound like Proceed (any Closure in Moscow fans should check them out if they've never heard of them) mixed with Two Door Cinema Club. And I love it.
Just listened to Curious Electric all the way through, and it did not disappoint! Currently looking up some of TDCC's stuff to dip my ear-toes into :P
@@TehLuvablePup Tourist History is the go
songs you find at 15 that are amazing, and even more amazing when you discover lsd much later on
I'm envious
This is.... eerily specific to my exact experience
@@CheeseLord makes me wish i was still taking copious lsd haha. i just want to dance so crazy to this
Closure in Moscow is my favorite band after The Mars Volta
Saw them at Warped Tour yesterday! They were amazing live! Chatted with them for a while, too. Very nice guys who love their fans. And that Australian accent.....could listen to them talk all day! : )
I wish people would rave on about these guys more
ALL I DO IS RAVE ABOUT THEM NIGGA.
***** Especially after Pink Lemonade I can imagine
This album still slaps, one of my favorites
honestly they are really happy people and how can you not be happy playing music this good?
i love the dance move that the singer does at 0:30
Chris Dudley impression at 3:34?
Incredible song. Their guitar tone is sooo awesome
Sweet Anita's raid just brought me here. I'm so grateful.
This band should’ve been massive. First Temple is easily one of the greatest debut albums ever written... Shame on you Equal Vision...
Fully agree. One of the other greatest debit album ever is the one from Panic at the disco " a fever you can't sweat out". Only great songs
All these new songs coming out and I still listen to the same old 3 songs and bands from this period.
I saw them in Warsaw last week. They are amazing live.
miss this old stuff with that drummer
They kicked arse at the Annandale in Sydney last night. They actually play this music this tight live! Very talented band.
God I used to love this song so fucking much. Still do. Just drifted from this scene but still love to go back and reminisce.
@dragonolp yupp. i love this band. I love tmv. And Coheed is my favourite band of all time. yay for amazing bands such as these.
purevolume and myspace
this song is so underrated
love this album... supported these guys in margate uk. one of the best bands live and such nice guys.
Most definitely! Dear Hunter is wonderful.
Summer '17 still amazing
I randomly found this song and loved it soooo much. Why this isn’t that popular....
its nice to see people speak highly of Closure and compare them to great bands of a similar style than rate them gay or posers .... that their audience is still appreciative of the music they produce ...

CIM = Jizz i think closure in moscow + dance gavin dance = eargasm! x]
This band is legit. Love their sound. Original For sure
i need all of your songs. right now
They just couldn't get any footage of the drummer playing this song? :D
Yeah their drummer is a beast too.
god i love this song
I always thought of this song as if Cage the Elephant took a little more progressive and post-hardcore influence.
in 2021 this song is still 4 minutes of ear crack, they really outdid themselves on this song
Lead singer sounds like copeland and it makes me smile.
I talked to them after a show and asked if they had any Mars Volta influence, and they said no. But they said they will take it as a compliment because Mars Volta are good.

I love this, I love the new, I just hope I am not too late in seeing them in a post-covid future play in the US.
Ahhh I forgot how much I love this song!!
You took the words right out of my mouth.
Just found these guys
I'm sooo addicted to this song. Can't wait to get the cd. I saw this guys last October with Emery...INCREDIBLE to say the least ♥
easily my favourite band. EVER.
just back from warped. i hung out with chris and brad for like an hour, and then i saw them play. RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. i didn't feel like i was at a concert until i saw them. and those dudes couldn't be nicer. fucking amazing.
Thank you for the new music.....well...new to me.
I got to hang out with Chris, Mike, and Beau at Warped tour. They are such awesome guys and they were so amazing live. I hope I get to see them again soon. =]
I'm really excited for a new album from these guys. I hope they go in a good direction after First Temple.
In Australia, whenever we went to their show, we'd always call Duncan out and ask for our MacBooks haha.
Hella funny lmao
Jonny Craig?! What?!
guessing that's the bassist cos I thought the same thing haha
i dont get it.
The high five at the end is too awesome
That riff.
Sawem last night too they are sooooo nice i love them

2009.....where the hell was I for 5 years?!
Feeling the same here

the guitarest are AWESOME
I just want to see one, ONE music video in RUclips whose comments section not filled and spammed and trolled by dumb arguments about POINTLESS SHIT.
I love this band, by the way; they're simply awesome.
It's the internet, never gonna happen.
i love this song now
I lay awake stuck by this fickle thorn
I lay with you so they won't sink
In their claws
I lay awake while the beasts and the whores
Are dancing in, dancing in
Dancing in the jaws of a landfill
Am I ever gonna let you in before
I see it coming?
Systematic in decay
I'm dying to feel what you feel now
You've already been such a sweetheart
And I know we all get scared
We all get scared
Too much head, but too little heart oh honey
I want your touch, such a shame
That I am numb honey
Not meant to be this way
Lover, lover, lover you'll never know
You'll never know
Because, lover, lover breathing
Down my neck
Incendiary breath
And still my lover is a burden
Tell me something could you smell my fear?
As I lay there
Cringing on your bed
Maybe my seed found purchase in your soil
It's just a fight, a futile fight
To feel connected
I lay awake stuck by this fickle thorn
Instead of tending to its prick I lay infected
1:13 Jonny Craig??? XD
I'm dying to feel what you feel now. You've already been such a sweetheart.
Cool but did I ask
these guys are just goddam amazing, equalvision is really tops with their signings man,
Bassist kinda looks like Jonny Craig
Atticus that's ginger-ist
I THOUGHT THE SAME THING and I was like oh no do I have to dislike this now
Dislike? Why did he sell you a Macbook?
Hahahahaha christ
dear hunter is amazing.
sounds a little like Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, only much closer to home which i LOVE! Closure in Moscow are amazing.
