- Let's talk about how I paint glowing elements in watercolor paintings with gouache! I love combining these two mediums together. The Acrylic Gouache works beautifully to build up the glowing, neon effect on top of watercolors.

this was so useful!! I’m painting lightsabers from star wars for my brother’s birthday and I had no idea how to go about the neon effect. thank you for this!
Love trying glow effects in Paintings it can be a challenge but so rewarding 🥰
That looks amazing.
I'm going to see if I can pull it that affect off on a couple of my fantasy drawings.
Wow! Love it!
I work with pigments sometimes and the effects are amazing!
TFS ❤
Thank you! This is so cool
This looks so amazing!
ooh very handy to know 😀
These look great! I love this technique. Do you generally prefer hotpress? How do you think this would work on coldpress? Would the texture issues be more obvious?
I've painted with oils and acrylics and have only just begun watercolors so I'm curious if a wet pallet would work with goauche.
could you create the same effect using acrylic paint instead of gouache?
Did you end up enjoying the process/effect more on the painting with more initial watercolour blending? Or liked the process better for one but liked the visual effect better on the other?
