I also want to say that the Pelagos is titanium grade 2 not because its cheaper than grade 5 but because of grade 2's superior resistance to salt water corrosion than grade 5. Its not a cost cut but a reasoned choice revealing the great care that goes into Tudor watches.
That‘s a great input. Meaning grade 2 is not strictly inferior to grade 5. I wonder though whether it would have been more practical to have grade 5 titanium. Most people these days are more worried about scratches than they are about the effects of salt water...
Pretty odd comparison, no? I can't imagine anyone cross-shopping these two watches. Completely different styles. I tried the Pelagos on my 7.5 wrist (19 cm) and it wears like a brick.
Hey Brian, thanks for your comment! They are indeed rather different and the thought of somebody cross-shopping the two didn‘t cross my mind either (that‘s why I have them both in my collection, they complement each other perfectly). When it comes to proportions, the similarities are significant though with the GS - unfortunately - presenting almost as big as the Tudor. And the original Pelagos 25500TN I have here is a bit thinner than the new iterations. There is reason for optimism for us „small-wristed“ guys however, with GS having introduced some better proportioned models recently.
Hi David, we seem to think alike, I feel perfectly fine wearing my Tudor in all situations, whereas my GS… more of a special occasions kind of watch. Tried to wear it more regularly but always feel kind of anxious about it. ;-)

Well I am that guy who loves seikos but I am swiss so I need a swiss watch in my collection
I'm actually cross shopping these exact two watches.
@@michaeltidwell8280 where are you shopping the sold out 435?
I own GS and Tudor and I never wear the GS.
Gold, polished and beautiful but like the guy says, the Tudor is what I depend on.

I'll be the first to give you a solid offer for that GS.
Thanks for watching! It’s not for sale at the moment, but I’m preparing a video slightly critical of GS, so who knows.
Great video! I feel you have an Austrian accent. Am I right?
Close! I’m from the German speaking part of Switzerland :-)
Cool video! I really like this GS. If you wanna sell it, please consider me!
I’m happy you like the GS and even happier that you managed to suffer through my video! ;-)
Maybe Rolex just can compare with GS,so Tudor can not🤣
I’m not sure even Rolex compares favorably with GS to tell you the truth ;-) Although I quite like their Milgauss I have to admit
