Great wrist shots!
Great video, enjoyed it. Honest down to earth review, great shots of the Matterhorn and no fartsy studio shots of the watch - but rather authentic, dirt and all shots of it being used as it should.
Thanks man!
@@watchesinthewild8276 I bought the watch 3 hours ago, your video was a weighing factor. Love it to bits!
I wish to have a smaller wrist wear 3706, but happy with my 3717 too.
What reference is it?
3706
i got a grand seiko, because the polishing is so good that even with scratches, the shine is superb and the whole watch still looks great. the scratches make the watch mine and i love it.
I’ve worn my tritium 3706 every day since 1886 with no service and it still keeps great time. Amazing watch.
1886? are you a vampire? haha jk
Visited the Matterhorn (Zermatt) in 2018 and just got my Pelagos one week ago. No more needed to say, Swiss love all over the place 🥰
I have a 38 mm version. It is really beautifull.
Wow, that was actually an incredibly refreshing watch video! none of the run-of-the-mill history of the milgauss, specs, etc that literally every single other video has. Just some solid everyday watch shots. Loved the last shot with it on a night table just ticking away! I have a white dial milgauss and it will get more wrist time after watching this
Losing around 30 s/day? My F6222-based RA-AP0003S (aka "Bambino small seconds") gains around +2 s/day.
Hi! I recently owned this watch, have not been delivered yet. Is the brown strap, that we see on your watch, the default one which comes with the watch?
what a well-made and insightful video. Very nice.
Fantastic video, beautifully shot, interesting and thought provoking. Well done!
I've a grand seiko and that's my only luxury watch. I daily drive a Seiko diver watch and only wear my grand seiko on special occasions.
Agree 100%. I’ll take 4 IWC’s over one Rolex DJ. I absolutely love my collection.
I still love this video. Miss your stuff, Hope everything is fine. Did you see that uncleseiko has new bracelets for the Pelagos? The US1450 seems very interesting.
You must build a shrine for it and worship it every day.
:D
If it isn't accurate, then it's called bracelet...
wtf, naming perfection as something bad, i dont get it...
That’s fine
It’s beautiful. Different and funky in the midst of boring Rolex watches.
I own the SKX009 and flaws and all still one of my all time favorites in my collection.
Still having and wearing mine, such a charming watch!
Damn man no disrespect but that’s a Count Dracula looks and voice if you want more subscribers work on those two things!😮😂
Haha… I love the internet
I like that box on your desk "The Big Pilot" 🙂
The Milgauss is very unique. I like it a bit better than the GS! But the GS is beautiful as well. I have been considering the GS SBGC247.
It is a nice Omega. Great video. You should review the Planet Ocean. The old school one from Casino Royale.
Thank you!
Love the great commentary. More videos man!
Rolex looking like a cheap toy, compared to the grand Seiko.
somehows this reminds me of my classmate performing his llm graduation speech to a full house. he nailed it. bang on right .. but dogged whilst reading his transcript 😅 sweet. will subscribe. good content
I‘m very aware that things could be MUCH better. ;-) But thank you for your support. Planning on uploading a new vid soon.
Very good illustrated video. Thanks for it!
You’re welcome!
It is, it's just too bad I have a modicum of OCD haha
Yes a lot of work goes into the zaratsu finish, if you hold it up against another polished watch you will see how much clearer you can see your reflection on the side of the case. This highly polished service will scratch but that’s gotta come with wearing it. You can send it a GS service center when it gets bad and they will polish it for you but it will not be perfect just better. But you can’t, or it’s hard to ‘polish’ brushed surfaces because there’s actually a fine pattern there that you can disrupt when polishing so at least you can have it polished. I buy watches to wear them and I don’t nitpick the scratches because it’s a daily worn watch but I can understand how this might bother some. For me, I kind of expect it to get a little beat up. They are dressy not toolish, so keep that in mind. Most GS even the sports models are sleek and a dressy finish to them so they don’t come off as bulky tool watches, which is one of the elements I tend to love about GS.
So is it good or bad ? I cant understand english with well
The watch is very good! I recommend it
I love your personal review of the Milgauss. Well spoken and very entertaining. I watch it numerous times!
So happy to hear that!
1:43. I feel this way with quality pieces.
G-Shock....just sayin😉
Haha I do have a rather affordable Casio now
Awesome vlog, great job
Thanks for watching!
If everyone is so OCD about scratches, go with the 2nd hand GS. I bought the GS because 1. Spring Drive -> very smooth movement or Hi-Beat 36000 BPH which is very smooth as well 2. The finishing so neat, and the light reflecting very well compared with the same price with other swiss watches 3. Hard to replicate
That is what it is to own a Grand Seiko. Imagine owners of high end Patek Philipe. They cant even breathe without fearing damage to their half million $$ wristwatch.
the longer you keep it, the more you love it^^
Cool
Danke! :)
What strap is that?
The strap that comes with the watch
A supposed anachronistic anti-magnetic design approach.... ...on a mechanical watch, which has itself been arguably anachronistic since the dawn of the age of Quartz....
Totally anachronistic. Watches aren‘t bought because of the functions they offer, they are obsolete and superfluous, but some of them are also emotionally engaging
I wear a 10 dollar retro Casio (digital, chrome) and it would kind of ruin my day if it broke. I get it.
Thanks for your empathy ;-)
Love this watch, thanks for the review!
You're very welcome, thanks for watching!
Both looks lovely and precious.
They both do! But I have a clear preference :)
@@watchesinthewild8276 What ever you chose, I'll take the other 😅
@@uhrologe2596 :D
The watch looks great on your woman, it should stay with her. Thanks for the museum tour, interesting. Noo, you weren't suggesting the date should be in roman numerals.
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful indeed, watch is not bad either
My Grand Seiko sd is spot on accurate. It may have gained +0.5 in the past month I just can't be bothered...
Amazing! Mine isn’t quite as accurate, but still very impressive.
Hello, I'm new to watches, I know the movement of this is ETA caliber 7750, but I hear something different from you, something like "Vanshou" 7750? What did you say? i am just enriching my watch knowledge and you sound like an expert :)
Hey there! Both of us are correct, it is indeed a Valjoux movement, but Valjoux belongs to ETA (and Swatch Group). :)
@@watchesinthewild8276 thank you … I learned something today 😀
@@aniini You‘re welcome!
Very Good .
Thanks!
