I have been using this for a week so far. I love how creamy it is. Smells great, not too strong but lingers. Beard feels good after. I use it before bed, wake up and apply beard oil. No mess, good stuff.
This beard butter is for coarse hair..if you are a black man, this is perfect! Other balms/butters with wax can leave your beard really hard and stiff! Black men beards normally stay in place and don't really need wax infused balms...so a whipped based butter is perfect...I love this stuff!
@@Tctbnl No problem..Yea I can see how it wouldn't be likable for soft textured beards. It does wonders for really coarse beards though, it really sofens. Then again, some people may not like it regardless, so I respect your opinion and honest review.
Do you have any suggestions for a whipped butter beard butter I’m a black man looking for some but I can’t tell if they are cream based or Shea butter based I prefer the Shea butter base
It has a synthetic vitamin E in it. I use Every man Jack shower gel, beard wash, they are great, aged bourbon , but for my beard butter I use LIVE BEARDED Bourbon fragrance beard Butter.
I have been using this product for a while now. I only use butter at night and i like how it is not as greasy as most butters and doesnt get my pillow nasty. It hydrates quickly and I love the way my beard feels the next morning. I love that there is to wax in this butter. In my opinion you only need wax in a beard balm for stying and hold. Butter is to nourish your beard while you sleep.
I use the hemp scent beard butter before bed. Yeah it's more a lotion consistency but it smells great and my beard definitely keeps it's softness overnight using it. But if butter as a lotion consistency isn't your thing, then yeah definitely look elsewhere.
Let’s be honest. It really isn’t that bad. Not the greatest butter but not the worse an it does have the oils needed to nourish an leaves a nice scent.
I used Every Man Jack’s beard balm and have liked it a lot. Tried a smaller company *Gibby’s Beard Co* “free trial just pay overpriced shipping” beard oils and they suck! I’d really like to try this beard butter.
I just bought mine at Walmart. First time trying butter. Been using their sandalwood beard oil. It smells amazing but has no taming capability. Hence trying the butter. It feels good and smells good to me, but I definitely don't smell the sandalwood. All I smell is cocoa butter and vanilla. But either way, I like the convenience of picking it up at Walmart and not having to wait for delivery.
I have to say I bought it for the same reasons. What I don't understand is it says RINSE. Am I supposed to rinse it out after using it??? I'm brand new to beard treatments, just never used anything before and thought it's about time. So I guess Rinse is just another term for 'Rub it in and leave it"??? What the heck is that.
After putting in on earlier idk if it's just the one I bought or if it's supposed to smell like this but it's made my face reak like stale stagnant water. I rinsed it out and shampooed but I guess it's gotten else where on my face so now I have to shower. What a terrible product. I'm 29 years old and thought "man I've spent all this time with out, it's only $10 bucks, why not try" what a mistake. Any good suggestions for what you're digging right now that you've uploaded a review on? I'll go check it out and maybe order some on Amazon tonight.
Never used beard butter before, I'm more used to beard balm. Couldn't get my hands on the Every Man Jack sandalwood balm this time around so I'm gonna try the beard butter and see what that's like
@@Tctbnl just tried it this morning, it's not all that bad. It's different than what I'm used to but man, my wood comb just glides through my beard after applying some of this beard butter. I agree. I also bought this not too long ago, and it was a total waste of money. Makes my beard and skin feel greasy, and I think it contributed to a few breakouts on my skin. Beard felt tacky and brittle the next day as well - totally gross, which prompted a shower. It also smells really bad after it dries. I had to wash my beard brush because a few days later it smelled fermented.

Very detailed, very informative, thx for saving me the money, almost purchased this off amazon few minutes ago, but jumped on RUclips to check reviews on it and saw this one, thx for the no bs honest review 👍
I also rubbed it in and thought it looked pretty odd but then I read it says rinse so I rinsed it out. Is that what that means? Very very confusing stuff. I mean why would the do this when they know a bunch of guys are going to be using it. I guess it's made for old beard veterans because I'm confused. I've had a beard for like 5 years now and never treated it and bought this product. What a mistake.
Hey, I’ve been using it for about a week or so at night (hard to tell time in quarantine) my wife likes the smell, I think it’s ok, not my favorite, it feels a tad sticky in my beard. I have some grey on my chin that seems to soak it in pretty well, it doesn’t go on greasy like some others, feels pretty good when I wake up but I’m in the market for something maybe a little different. Overall for me, it’s ok, but I’m also a bit of a beard noob. Trying to figure out a good nighttime butter for me.
Seems like your more concerned about subscriber’s and links then an actual good review of product. Didn’t say anything about how it made your beard feel afterwards. Just how you didn’t like the “whiteness” to it before you worked it in. I use it, smells great, makes your beard super soft. Would highly recommend!
I’m glad this product worked for you. Hands down this was the most horrible thing I have ever put in my beard. Men’s grooming products vary from person to person. Thanks for watching, and I hope you have a awesome day
I just got this by way of my wife I asked for Live Bearded Beard Butter and got this instead not happy !! What do you think is the best ? Have you used Live Bearded Beard Butter and if so what do you think of it ?
Seeing that there's 2 forms of alcohol in there, from what I was able to read when you showed the label... I've always heard that alcohol dries out your face and beard... Which is why I try to not use any products on my beard with alcohol in them.
Some of laziest posts I've read, "Just to be 100% clear, there are other types of alcohols, known as fatty alcohols, which are absolutely non-irritating and can be exceptionally beneficial for skin. Examples you’ll see on ingredient labels include cetyl, stearyl, and cetearyl alcohol. All of these are good ingredients for dry skin, and in small amounts fine for any skin type as they give a pleasing texture and help keep ingredients stable in products." - Paula's Choice website, to be clear, the ingredients used are compounds known as 'fatty alcohols', they won't dry out your skin in the same way traditional alcohols will. So this product would technically be considered alcohol-free by the FDA
@@GaiusFlyingHighus yeah, because the FDA does such an amazing job at regulating products and 100% knows what they're talking about...
