- A quick un-graded (flat and nasty, a bit overexposed to boot) video testing the v1.1 firmware for the Fuji XF 18-120mm lens. This firmware fixes the exposure stepping that would happen when zooming in/out in daylight/well-lit scenarios. I only tested at one f-stop, f/14, but the issue appears to be fixed to me. Also, shot on a tripod (forgot to turn off IBIS so a bit of weirdness due to that), slow zooms using the lens' auto-zoom buttons, some panning, and at the end some quick zooms. Overall the issue is fixed well enough for me, although YMMV. This combo of camera (X-S20), lens (XF18-120) and anamorphic adapter (Anamorphot 65) work well together, IMHO, providing a useful zoom range of 22mm to 120mm when using the "constant movie crop" and shooting FHD. Shooting "open gate" on the X-S20, the usable range is about 35mm to 120mm, you may get a bit more with the 5.2k 16:9 mode (I believe this is only available when recording with an external recorder via the HDMI output) but I personally haven't tested that yet.

This looks pretty amazing! Finally. How is the focus behaving? There used to be quite a lot of hunting during zoom
If you focus manually on an object and then zoom in/out, in my experience it doesn't "hunt" and will stay focused on the subject.
@@poserp superb. I remembered it like zocus was stepping the same way exposure did, like visibly compensating as you went through the zoom range
Do you happen to have the firmware update file still? It looks like it was removed from Fuji's website
I don't.
Do you still have the firmware update file please ? they removed it from the website :/
I don't.
