The Fujifilm 18-120mm f4 lens is made for video - my results weren't great - did the update fix it?

- Fujifilm has recently released a firmware update for the 18-120mm f4 lens plus also for a number of camera bodies as well. The purpose of the update was primarily to correct tracking issues.
When I first bought this lens for video, along with the X-S10, I had a lot of problems with tracking. Did the firmware update correct this, and if so, how well?

Does the manual exposure fix the exposure shifting? Even with fixed exposure, the aperture blade still moves as you zoom to keep the exposure of the scene consistent.
Manual exposure should not shift during zooming, though I infrequently zoom while in manual exposure, I have never seen an exposure shift, nor should we see one.
Do you happen to have the firmware update file still? It looks like it was removed from Fuji's website
Sorry no. I always delete them after installation.
Performs a lot like the 16-80 from what I can tell. Not bad and adequate are perfect words lol
I think it will perform a lot better with the X-H2S and the X-S20, but since I don't own those cameras, no way to know for sure.
@@photographybypetercharles9939 I don’t own those cameras either lol. Both lenses can do wonders with nature video and surprisingly well with 60 and 120fps video. Competent and useful lenses + affordable = my kinda lens! Great job with reviews. I enjoy your channel.
@@photographybypetercharles9939 i own both. Yep it performs slightly better but not by amazing standards. Probably 10% better
