You don't look happy hearing the country is doing well under PRRD and now with PBBM. So, you're trying to cut off Mr. Diokno's answer. 🤔🤔🤔
No. As a matter of fact, she is the most unbiased journalists we currently have out there. Speaking as a BBM supporter.
She was just doing her job. Cutting him off midway through his answer may be offensive - had it been a normal conversation - but doing so, with the pressure of keeping the interview short, as time is definitely of the essence, and asking him more questions so he could give us more, is not bad at all.

It’s so sad that through out the interview, Karen addresses Secretary Diokno but to the duly elected President, she just call him “Mr. Marcos.” What a shame! She seems like she could not still accept the reality that BBM is the President elect now.

She has been calling PBBM "Mr. Marcos" in her interviews with other cabinet appointees. She addresses the appointess as Secretary , but why can't she call the one who appointed them as President Elect. So discourteous.

You'll find not even a hint of those "economical success" in ABS-CBN/ANC's platform, too obvious. (May 30-31 2022) - Didn't even livestream Duterte's legacy summit as all other channels were. Discredit here and there, because their favorite color didn't win, for a greater chance to revive their station from tax evasion(proven). Mind you, they are condemning someone for not paying taxes yet they cannot prove it in the court, what a joke.

Professor Diokno in NO JOKE - he wants to increase the budget for INFRA-structure. That means, less RED-TAGGING and more infra-projects.
Economists always looking for more growth
Infrastructure projects are catalysts for every country's growth, that's why nations allocate a chunk of their GDP for infra. Lack Foreign investments? Lack of employment? Traffic congestion? Poverty? Infras are the solution.

@@teachmehowtodoge1737 Because of infrastructure, the country would lower the economic loss of billions caused by logistical delays and other problems like energy supply, online transactions, and payment lagging. The energy price would also vary, allowing the consumer to save money.

Though I understand why Karen plays Devil’s Advocate - there maybe a better way to throw questions during these interviews. Stephen Sackur in my opinion from BBC, plays this well. The manner he throws questions, clearly shows the objectiveness of his questioning and method. In this case, I feel like Mr. Diokno deserves more respect from Karen.

Agree with you too! Karen should not act as if she were an actress at the centerstage, instead she should learn how to listen and learn to give in.
PBBM's pick to lead his economic team - Sec DOF Diokno - is absolutely right on the money! With the coming economic headwinds brought by adverse global dynamics, Sec. Diokno will bring-in the needed economic tailwinds.

All I can say is that he is such a brilliant man. I have high hopes for him in helping BBM improve the Philippines’ economy and eventually improve the lives of all the Filipinos too.

Thank you for accepting the challenge, incoming DOF Sec. Ben Diokno. You are right po. Pres.-elect Ferdinand R. Marcos is speaking & appointing you po, as our country’s economic leader on behalf of the 31 million Filipinos who voted for him.
If the Duterte administration did well in terms of economic recovery from what the previous administration left him , as the words of sec. Diokno.."we are now in a better position than before. Im quite certain that PBBM will have a good headstart and surely will be able to manage well.. and karen seems to be disappointed with this.

Diokno is brilliant and he is also practical. It is not Karen's job to sound optimistic. It is her job to challenge what he is saying. They respect each other and it is clear that her questions were geared towards challenging further. She said "you can steer the economy." Is that not an expression of confidence? The support we should give the new president is for him to do his job.

If companies, like ABS CBN, will pay taxes diligently and with honesty according to needed computations, it would really help this country to prosper. Hindi yung kagalingan nyong lumusot sa batas para maka iwas sa taxes.. Maski lusot kayo sa batas, pero common sense na lang GMA 1 billiom per year tapos ABS aabot lang 180k lang per year???
