One thing noticeable is that he is not someone who will play partisan politics. His appointment, therefore, is a plus lalo sa international community. Totoo na hindi naman dapat nangingialam ang foreigners sa Pilipinas - kung politics. Pero sa finance, ibang usapan ito. Kailangan natin ng dalawang bagay eh. Investors and good credit ratings. So, natural na importante kung sino ang nasa economic team ng bansa. At this time, I think best appointment thus far is Diokno on finance.

Very good interview. Hindi ko makitaan ng mga tanong o sagot na kulang pa. I actually feel more at ease now with Sec. Diokno. One thing noticeable is that he is not someone who will play partisan politics. His appointment, therefore, is a plus lalo sa international community. Totoo na hindi naman dapat nangingialam ang foreigners sa Pilipinas - kung politics. Pero sa finance, ibang usapan ito. Kailangan natin ng dalawang bagay eh. Investors and good credit ratings. So, natural na importante kung sino ang nasa economic team ng bansa. At this time, I think best appointment thus far is Diokno on finance.
