That would be implying Kaido could beat Roger Shanks or Garp which he couldn't. I'm talking about them all in their prime btw.

Shanks was never stronger than kaido at any point of time, kaido was plundering the seas while shanks was still in diapers, and if they were in their prime, then prime garp would beat prime kaido. Big Mom literally is stronger than shanks though. She's the 2nd most powerful being in this world (doesn't mean that she would beat him) she just has the most raw strength we've ever seen other than kaido. If shanks can fight kaido, big mom can fight him too. Now I didn't talk about the dozens of other factor that come into play like haki, speed, endurance, devil fruit, personal fighting style etc.. But big mom and kaido are the 2 biggest monsters we've ever seen.

During the time of Roger's execution I think Mihawk was already dawned Strongest Swordsman or was on his way to being Strongest Swordsman as it is confirmed he was already famous. That being said, Oden was not known to the outside world due to wano's seclusion, but then he traversed freely after he left Wano so it was possible he was known, considering Roger heard of him before they even met. Conclusion, based on the fact that Mihawk was already famous/known due to defeating powerful opponents and Oden was acknowledged by Roger and Whitebeard. I would say I don't know, you got me stumped.

🐉🐉🐲 I think Dragon used to be a marine, possibly an admiral or vice admiral that defected. It makes sense considering how Garp wanted to raise Luffy and Ace to be the strongest marines like him. It also fits Oda's writing style considering Akainu means Red Dog, Kizaru = Yellow monkey, Aokiji = Yellow Pheasant and that fits the eastern mythology that has those 3 animals and a 4th one called the White Dragon. It would also explain why Akainu is the one protagonist that hates Luffy so much it seems personal simply for being the "Son of Dragon" which is the only way Akainu addresses Luffy. And we know Akainu hates marines who are deserters. The key difference is that Garp even though he hates the celestial dragons, hewants to change the corrupt government from the inside, while Dragon was probably fed up and thus wants to change it entirely by being the World Government's direct antithesis.

Indeed, and also the narrator told us that Kaido had only 7 defeats on his life, which I think those were not in PVP. I think in this video there has been misunderstood the relation between strength and danger to the world goberment, I mean, we can not say Dragon may be stronger than Kaido just because he is most wanted. If we look at how the goberment put price to a head, they don't care of the strength, they care about the risk that one person represent to the world. In this terms, Dragon is dangerous because the information he has not for his fisical strength or for an devil fruit he could have.

I'd say blackbeard has a decent chance at beating kaido because of the matchup he has. The gura gura no mi isnt the best df, but kaido is such a big target I dont know how he could avoid it. He would just constantly have to take hits from it.
it's 'bet' on kaido, not that kaido will 100% win. Generally, he should be seen as the strongest character in the series right now. But equally I think when considering who CAN defeat someone, that would include beating kaido once out of five fights with him. It's not necessarily who's stronger as much as it's who is comparable or on a similar tier imo

I believe that quote is what Oda has been trying to imply for the Wano arc and he has been mainly saving that hint for the final battle between Kaido and the alliance.

I think big mom can beat kaido. This doesn't mean that BM>kaido. But I think there is at least a 40% of chance for her to winning
I don’t see her winning she doesn’t have anything to kill him nor defeat him kaido is overly cocky tho so Idk. Also factor in the fact that kaido and BM had no damage. We could argue that both of them was not actually serious and was just trying to one overpower each other rather than win.
