Man, poor Berserk never stood a chance since this was only taking the anime into account. I agree with the list in general, but there’s one major thing wrong with the Pain Invasion Arc: the lack of consequences. Even though the village was demolished and nearly everyone was killed, they all got brought back to life immediately after.

I kinda agree. When everyone got revived, that kinda took me out. I think if only some could return would have really hit home. Personally I think Kakashi should have been one of the few to not come back. Purely cause his death hit the hardest. But then we wouldn't have seen the conclusion to Minato teams arc.
I think Rob read Berserk actually. I might be wrong though.
@@benf2682 yeah i can see how that made left a bitter taste for such a tragic moment, but i think when kalashi brought naruto on his back to the village, and everyone acknowledge naruto as the saviour of the village, i remember how i felt about that moment its like i made it in life, i think that made up for the people being revived for me.

The Thousand Year Blood War arc is just next level. People were hyped by the manga and the anime adaptation took that and made it even better, with added parts(like OG Gotei 13)

@@ps4limit996 Different type of storytelling, so that makes sense. We’re seeing a lot of set up planned over decades being paid off or almost paid off. Naturally, there will be more immediate excitement.
It is like watching many of your favorite anime characters from different anime, only to suddenly get them all on one stage! It is so epic and we know the characters so well that we are almost not even sure who we should support.
Another amazing thing is that even though we know all the characters, there is still so much mysteries waiting to be uncovered.
At this point we can only speculate and wait for Oda to do his thing.

I still think to this day Enies Lobby was the best arc of One Piece. Not only did it had the whole crew but also they all powered up. Robin's 'I want to live' seen simply is one of the best moments of all One Piece.
I really liked water 7 bro the drama between the crew. Aqua laguna, cp9s masks were sick. robin getting kidnapped the merry needed to be replaced. It was in my opinion the best pased and most well developed arc in the show
Also there was pluton and we found out that franky is actually cutty flam the owner of the blueprints it was perfect honestly

For me it’s #2 but I gotta put marineford at #1. The impact of the summit war saga including impel down is just next level
I agree. Water 7 + Enies Lobby is the peak of storytelling in One Piece. I’d say Marineford is equally as good, but since they are very different arcs I prefer one over the other.
We got to see every Straw Hat have amazing moments in Water 7+Enies Lobby, and the arc just felt more like One Piece. I’m currently rereading Marineford, and while it’s great to experience the war fold out, I really miss seeing the crew together.
My top 5 arcs
1. Chimera ant arc
2. Golden age arc
3. Return to Shiganshina
4. L arc
5. Pain Invasion arc
Could not have hoped for a greater finals. Two of the greatest arcs from two of the greatest shows in anime(at least both top 5). Great vid as always!!

Before even starting the video, my guess is that Rob's No 1 arc is a One Piece arc, either Marineford or Enies Lobby.

Marineford didnt really have any huge competition due to it being a arc built up for 400+ chapters, hard to compare it to any other arc.

For me personally it's gotta be the FS arc in Gintama but from the arcs in the video i'd probably say Marineford. The build up to Marineford paid off so well and it just had so much going for it from beginning to end

The payoff for both was perfect but Marineford probably gets the edge for me because I feel like the build up to it had a lot of time to grow compared to Golden Age

Accurate. All of these opinions are facts. I do think that if the freiza/namek saga was in the brackets instead of the majin buu saga it would have been a different story.
The build-up in the namek saga was definitely there from the saiyan saga.

Chimera Ant Arc still gets the W. Chimera Ant arc isn't an arc surpassable by just fights. And Dragon Ball is really weak on the story aspect. Dragon Ball can't surpass Chimera Ant Arc if it doesn't make a masterpiece from Black Frieza

The L arc was actually insane. People don’t even understand how intelligent L and Kira actually are playing 4d in their sleep.
When L makes his debut to Light through the broadcast and essentially reads his address to him will forever be a Top 5 Anime moment for me
For me the potato chip scene might be the best. People need to understand. With bugs and cameras all over his room so they they could see and hear everything.
Light was able to put a mini tv in his bag of crisps and turn the packet at angle that it couldn’t be seen by 50 cameras, With no volume because of listening devices. Write a university grade paper with his right hand while with his left hand writing inside of the bag of crisps names on the paper while not making it obvious that he’s looking inside of the fucking bag at a tv.
And a super detective who is smarter than all the government agencies on earth put together and can (an actual ability of his btw stated in the guide book) watch dozens of monitors at once with them all in fast forward and process all of the information at once and spot specific things that might be suspicious, watching him and he arose no suspicion at all.

@@Everythingscythe That is a very good scene but the broadcast scene showed both characters personality for example L said he was petty and wanted to play this as a game that’s why he failed and Near who is basically the same but not petty had to stop Light also it shows that if L didn’t challenge Light he could win very easy (the only challenge is that Light does hack into his fathers computer but as long as L doesn’t send stuff digitally it was pretty much in the bag (Just like a Potato Chip)
But both scenes were some of the most beautiful scenes in Detective/Drama/Anime history and whatever genre Death Note is in it will always be Top 10 or so

togashi's writing is insane. the chimera ant arc and yorknew city arc are genuine masterpieces imo, not even to mention yyh. Its such a shame he's been ill, the series was so good they had to nerf the mangaka.
Bleach Thousand Year Blood War is one of the best arcs in shonen the amount of action,emotion,themes,world building,writing and foreshadowing explained makes the previous arcs like soul society,arrancar,and full bring all the much better (manga readers know why) the only reasonable complaint is the final fight being wrapped up quickly due to kubo’s health, which is gonna be fixed in the anime

A thing that always stood out for me in the majin buu saga was the ending of goku with the spirit bomb it was when everyones fruits of labor have finnaly showed themselves for one final attack to destroy the biggest threat the universe has ever seen with vegeta also admiting goku is better then him and how goku even after all the pain majin buu has caused still wished that buu would be reincarnated so they could fight again it was just magnificent
I agree 100% that stood out the most for me as well, i almost cried just to how powerful it was, vegeta was god tier character even to the end taking that beating from kid buu and when he could not use his fist, he used his brain and when goku got his power back and everyone was so happy and the music kick in , we knew what was coming for buu, then to top it off as if it wasnt great already, the thumbs up goku and vegeta shared, just everything about the finale of the buu arc, some questionable writing here and there, but the amount of people who pulled together to do it was extraordinary, hercule came in clutch as well he was vital his fake fame actually served some purpose in the end.

It depends. Water 7 is a saga, if you put Water7, Enies Lobby and CP9 against Marineford then absolutely but if you focus only in the arcs of the saga, i'd say Water7 is the best.

The previous arcs of OP are better than marineford imo. Skypiea and w7 saga just outdo marineford in enjoyment and tension tbh. Marineford is stiil awesome and has some great characters and moments.
As a manga reader TYBW is my fav arc on this list , but your list is hella respectable

Tybw is like the Wano arc of bleach the highs are very high but the lows are very very very very low and the lows probably ruin the arc
SS is the best arc in bleach it told a great story and obviously introduced all of the interesting captain characters and it had multiple plot lines that all converged into one at the end
Tybw was great from a pure action standpoint but had too many open plot lines that never got finished and too many characters introduced that ended up going to waste + the ending was trash

@@akane_2247 i'd say ss is the most consistent bleach arc. Its a good introduction arc into the series and its characters but beyond that, its mostly carried by nostalgia. TYBW does have some plotholes but most of them are cleared up by CFYOW. Also Ichigos character arc is concluded in the most effective way possible in TYBW, a height thag no other story arc of bleach has reached. Imo the good heavily heavily outweighs the bad in TYBW, thats why i personally have it over ss. Kubo also seems to be working closely with the anime staff to give more depth to storylines he couldn't, and clear up whatever plotholes might exist, how ever we wont know until its done. But anyways ur entitled to ur own opinion and i respect that

Was one of the most touching moments in anime. id say better than zero no requiem cuz it was just one ending not even a real arc (cuz we d have to talk about the whol hypnotizing god shenaningan and the assassination of marianne's character and a lot of plot holes in code geass)

definitely feel like chimera ant shouldve won here (maybe if the one piece arc was dressrosa or WCI instead i could be convinced tho), but still a great video. also berserk golden age got robbed being put up against the pain arc for its first round lol, i feel like the eclipse is one of the best sequences in all of fiction (i read the whole manga, never watched the anime), but even then i still gotta put the pain arc just a little bit higher

Berserk 1997 is an amazing adaptation. Covers the Golden Age ark. Definitely worth a watch.
For me the best arcs are TYBW arc (bleach), Marineford (OP), Culling games (jjk), Saiyan Saga, Bakemonogatari (the entire franchise is peak from start to finish)

This is valid but I will say this is me personally but I'm definitely taking dark tournament as best arc on this list but marine Ford as the winner is completely respectable pick tbh while yyh is my pick it's not even the fact that it lost that I was surprised at tbh I'd take Majin buu saga or zero requiem over chimera ant arc also golden age over pain but again overall great vid and great pics regardless

Still, SBR(and SO and JJL to) is better than the best sagas of One Piece, Naruto or Bleach. And if we are counting manga Golden Age would easly be top 2

Common W, if we talked about manga and anime, I'd say either marineford or golden age would've been my final pick, probably the golden age arc, even thou it pains me to say that. Yes I was crying about ace death(one if not the only time I cried cause of a show), but with the apocalypse, what happened to casca etc. I just sat there, in silence, really disturbed and was like tf is happening here(maybe the final arc of fire punch would top that, cause it was just that beautiful, but we're only talking about known manga here)
