Asta's swords aren't an automatic counter to any magic. He has to be equal in strength in order to combat it so he absolutely scales to most of those feats and Asta was much stronger here. In one of the black boxes, they mention Salamander's Ocean drying feat which was Multi-Continent, Asta not only matched it in base but outright stomped it when it got absorbed by someone stronger when Asta got his first transformation....and that's Pre-Timeskip Asta. In terms of speed, Asta has been able to dodge Light magic that is stated to be LS and scales to characters like Mereleona who could catch Raia's Light Movement which got 15x faster than light. Asta just stomped here. Deku didn't have much of a chance.

They low balled the hell out of Asta and high balled all of Deku's calcs. The lowest I've seen Asta post time skip is continent level, and the highest I saw for Deku's speed was hypersonic. They were trying to make it seem as close as possible when it's really just a wash man.

@@batosaims Devil Union Asta kept pace with Lucius, who moves massively faster than light. Deku's fastest feat on his own was moving faster than Nagant's bullets, putting him at hypersonic+. Even if you scale to AFO Shigaraki, which not everyone will accept, he's still only Light Speed. There has literally never been a point in time where Deku wins this matchup.
@@averyplaysthegame Nope, Devil Megicula was unable to dodge lightning which was only mach 300, Nagants bullets are dozens of times faster than sound and Deku outraced them while he was over 500 feet away before the bullet could move 5 feet which would put Deku at over mach 4000

C: Do you realize how much faster lighting is than sound? Lightning being faster than sound is literally second grade knowledge. Its the reason you see lighting befoer hearing the thunder. Someone Asta doesn't need to scale to not being able to dodge lightning in a weakened state while Deku can move faster than sound, which is many times slower than lightning, does not make him faster than Asta.
That's like saying that since your friend can't outspeed a car on foot, but you can go up to the 5th speed setting on a treadmill means you can run faster than that friend. It's dumb as shit and means literally nothing.

Base Asta realistically one shots and solos Deku and his verse. Asta is both beyond way faster, stronger and more durable than Deku ever could be. I'm guessing you don't know that much about scaling since most ppl knew this is automatically just a one-sided fight. The only thing Death Battle messed up was the part that they made Deku and Asta equal in this fight when realistically this fight isn't even close at all.

No kidding, Speed Wise Asta wins they explain that, both movement and Reaction/ fighting speed he is far faster. His ki reading is more effective than danger sense As it isn't just tuned to attacks, but Everything, intent, emotion, enemy strength, attacks etc. His strength as they said is WAY higher no matter what feat you use of Deku. And he is far more durable, Taking Blows From Lucifaro, Dante and Licht. As well as surviving curse magic. There is no world where Deku wins. He said he's not bias But his frustration and anger at the outcome, and ignorance of The Explanation at the end of the video, just proves he's very very bias

Anti magic has to at LEAST equal the combative magic, and like it said, deku split at most 3/4 of an island’s are of clouds, and that’s highballing it due to Bakugo never using OFA, but being naturally stronger due to having a naturally OP quirk. Even though gear shift increases his power, he’d still REMARKABLY more to match a COUNTRY compared to dozens (at least) times the area of a small land like Nabu island. And remember: that’s with all of his energy pointed UP so that none of it would hit the island itself and even though their base form deku is faster, comparing fa Jin and demon unite form, unite it WAY faster and can fly by himself. Unite form doesn’t need his sword. Study up, bro. I rooted for Deku too, but I’m not being a baby. I accept why he lost and agree with the outcome.

@jayski3014 The difference being that Ben 10 vs Green Lantern is understandable. They did Ben DIRTY in that fight, not even using his more mature self. With Deku vs Asta: there isn't an good reason to be salty, it was expected for Deku to lose. There were a number of BNHA/MHA fans that agreed that Deku loses to Asta. The other portion are just salty because of the fact that Deku lost, and that's it. No other reason, other than he lost. And they try to justify their bias too. True that Deku has achieved hypersonic speeds, but that's about it. From what I understand: The BC-verse is WAY more OP than anything from the BNHA/MHA-verse. Some just just can't accept that there some battles that can't be won. Deku vs Asta being one of them.

Asta would win, but. Izuku is better at predict movements and more mobile. However, Asta is physically stronger and faster. I don't care what they say, Izuku punched a building, what swords would do. Even though Asta would win this fight, there is no way that both are accurate in this fight here than what they are in manga/anime. Even without negating quirks, Asta can legit cut buildings metal etc. And also also, Asta is NOT a third sword user! The only reason WHY he used a sword in his mouth, is because he had no hands to use the swords with. But normally, Asta only uses two swords to fight with. He might use a third sword, but it is NOT like how Zoro fights. I also agree with you that the cloud thing is a bs way to judge Izuku's power. That punch wasn't even Izuku by himself lol, it was with Bakugo's help. So if you're using that, than Izuku's feat by that alone is halved. Special powers aren't the only the only thing that matter in a fight XD. Asta dodged chains which are 1% of a captain level used by that one guy in episode 1. That was even before Asta had anti magic or even his swords back than.

Not sure if anyone pointed this out yet so i will: You mentioned that without his swords, Asta is slower than Deku. WAY BEYOND WRONG. Asta's swords ACTUALLY weight A LOT. Even his smallest sword was considered heavy when the Wizard King himself held it. So basically, Asta is faster AND stronger than Deku in just BASE FORM. If roles were reversed and Asta lived in MHA verse, he wouldve mastered One For All a lot better and easier than Deku.

ASTA has also destroyed a cloud of almost 4× the size which would make it heavier ASTA has changed the weather as well he's slash managed to nullify a whole mist storm and recreate rain scaling him higher than evaporating water and condensating it with pure wind pressure ASTA managed to condensate the water high enough to the point it reached rain level raising high enough in the Atmosphere for all the clouds to get fully condensated

And right now shigiraki has had planetary statements and says he can decay Japan by decay itself, he can decay city's in a instant and now he moves as fast as deku with gear shift which already defies inertia which easily makes deku speed of light but since he defies physics he doesn't just stop at the speed.
