Estimate starting price for the RWD GTS Ghibli is $115k USA Dollars. There will be no AWD model. It will be a purist super GT with 550HP. Top Speed in excess of 200 MPH.
How you do feel, as a person, knowing you lied to everyone reviewing a base $70k car but telling it's a $93k car? I'm sure you feel like "a massive pile of crap". The mysterious $93k car you're talking about actually comes with real leather (finer than what you find anything this side of a Bentley), carbon fiber, Alcantara, leatehr shifter, and you actually have the option of getting sport bucket seats if you want that. Also, FYI, those switches come from Mercedes (that's where Chrysler got them too) and quality-wise they're light years ahead of the Dodge counterparts (better materials, metal inserts, LED lighting).
Not everyone wants do a zero - 60 run at every stop light, Heck most people don't care about quarter mile etc... If one has the money to get a maserati and if thats what they want then please ! Go for it ! It is a good vehicle by itself. We need to stop comparing and start appreciating the cars for what they actually are and what purpose they were built for. Maserati is class, style, swag and the exhaust note and trust me they nailed it. Obviously there is always room for improvement and I bet they will improve on it soon. Yes I agree that it is priced quite high but hey ! its like buying gucci shoe over a nike !. The nike might be better performing shoe but it won't make you feel special the way a slightly uncomfortable gucci shoe would. Maserati is for someone who has made money and does not give a shit about performance driving. Maserati is like a PEACOCK ... not the best at flying but them feathers on a peacock are goddamn beautiful and the sound a peacock makes is beautiful and unique !! Just like MASERATI's the cars look good and make a beautiful sound. Just my opinion...
True, its your opinion ! Its your decision to choose the way makes you feel special and .....its his opinion”logical” to review and decide how much car this car is valued and worth for the price tag compared to other cars with less price tag.
He’s just saying you’ll only be paying for an engine and a name, the car has cheap written over everything else. And is not worth buying even if you had the money is all he’s saying. There are way better cars to flex your cash😂
I get that this car is not worth anywhere near $90 grand, but you can get a 2018 S Q4 like this one with 15k miles for $43 grand. At that price I think this is actually a pretty decent deal. Ferrari engine, ZF transmission, Maserati badge if you care about that. Maintenance will be expensive but if you have a guy you trust and avoid the stealership you’ll be fine.
That's not a $90k car he's reviewing. He's reviewing a $70k base car with no options. The fully decked ones come with real leather (finer than what you find anything this side of a Bentley), carbon fiber, silk inserts, Alcantara, leather shifter, and you actually have the option of getting sport bucket seats if you want that.
this car has so much haters, which is good. You can get basically the best looking 4 door sedan with the best engine sound on the market for a 30k usd and be the only one of your friends, hood and family to drive one.
@@guilmarperez4674 mate I can afford one, any of them, and I will never buy a modern Maserati. They're like Rolex, you only like them if you don't know much about watches and have no taste. Just go with an Alfa Romeo Giulia. It fixes every problem and is so much better. Really it's sad what Maserati is now days. I grew up wanting one so badly, now I realize they are very much like Disney. People remember them for what they made.
I drive a 3-year-old Maserati Ghibli SQ4 GranSport and I do not care at all what people think about it. I enjoy my car much more than my previous MBs and an Audi.
Your "out take" at the end reveals your desire to pan this vehicle as much as possible - can't argue about the price being too high for this vehicle - but while a Kia Stinger may accelerate as well - you are also paying for fit and finish in a car - I know the infortainment system screen is same as a Dodge - Your closing suggestion should have been - buying this car new is a mistake as it is one of greatest depreciating vehicles sold... but buying one that is three years old - after the steepnes of the depreciation curve levels off - that would be a good buy
On top of that, he's reviewing a $70k base car with no options and let's us believe it's a fully decked $93k one, which comes with real leather (finer than what you find anything this side of a Bentley), carbon fiber, Alcantara and you actually have the option of getting sport bucket seats if you want that.
Arty Eet no denying the cross parts here but this cars is priced this high as FCA wants to have a real luxury car in the US market and unfortunately it’s too much like a Chrysler without the excitement of a Dodge v8.

Even at $70k, it's still terrible. Pleather? Plastic bits and pieces? Entertainment info from Dodge? Hardly justifying when at $60k you got the trio from the German.
@@bttran5547 You really haven't seen how a $70k German car looks like and what do they actually pass for leather. Please do your homework, visit some dealerships, it will stop you from making stupid youtube comments in the future. Heck, go sit in one of the new $100k+ BMW 8 series or Audi S7 and you'll find way more plastic and worse leather than in $70k base Maserati. And as far as UConnect goes, please tell me what is wrong with it. @@toshy Fact of the matter is, there's a billion of RUclips videos, car articles, forum posts of how a piece of work this car is. If is all great and dandy like what you said, why isn't being praise but rather in dumps? Damn a Ferrari sourced engine, everyone would go nuts for that? Sounds you like you got your hands on the wrong car and trying to justify what you bought my friend.
@@bttran5547 There are not a billion. There are just a few articles that keep getting recycled. I really yet to hear a VALID complain about the car, except the price, which is normal for a small volume boutique manufacturer.
I got a good deal on a rental right now with a 2020 SQ4 and besides the okay sound system and lack of drive mode tuning im loving the car so far. The exhaust in sport mode alone is awesome
Got to say after watching this video that it still amazes me on how many people produce these things that do not know what they are talking about. I guess they feel the need to try to make a name for themselves in a business where by publishing a RUclips video makes them instant experts. Let me tell the viewers out there that this reviewer is no expert. Rather he is just someone who compares numbers only and has made zero effort in educating himself and his would be viewers. I am a 3rd generation car dealer in Canada. My family have been in the retail/wholesale/service/collector car business since 1935 both in Europe and Canada . I have been in the business since 1985 selling, owing and operating new car dealer franchises. Selling thus far over 30,000 vehicles in my career. The lack of facts that this reviewer has is solely derived at the lack of effort that he and his producers have committed to learning the facts of this car and most likely any vehicle that they choose to review. #1, To all f the viewers out there, component and platform sharing is a very common exercise that most and virtually all major automobile manufacturers do, It's main purpose is to reduce production costs. They try to hide the fact that they all do it but it's impossible not to find many shared components. To deeply criticize the Ghibli to use what is universally considered the best infotainment system the world has ever seen is just plain ignorant on the reviewers part. Consumers Report along with most major automotive magazines recognize that the Panasonic made Fiat Chrysler 8.4" Infotainment system has been the class leader in the business on many areas. Utility, function, speed, simplicity, connectivity, flexibility, graphics and personalization of the system over the past 10 years have earned the respect of any journalist or customer who lives with these devices every day. For sure there are more gimmicky systems that may show earth shots from space on the GPS screen or they may have something quite a bit larger in size but nothing comes close to matching the complete package offered on the Panasonic designed and engineered Fiat Chrysler systems. #2, Proof to me that this reviewer nows nearly nothing about car manufacturing is that when he is criticizing the few components that are shared with lesser vehicles is that he didn't even offer his audience a comparison against the most notorious component sharing company on the planet. Volkswagen group (VW, Audi, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Bentley, Bugatti and Lamborghini). Underneath every Porsche Cayenne is an Audi Q7 and VW Touareg including may components inside, powertrain, suspensions and electronics. We have had some Lamborghini Gallardo's come in on trade in a few years ago with the complete screens and switchgears from a VW Golf. That is a 15k car sharing key items with a 200k car? #3, The numbers. It's not always the numbers. I owned a Kia franchise and they make wonder vehicles. The Stinger is there best to date after the new Telluride SUV. On acceleration he is bang on.But when you drive the Stinger hard for a while the car packs it in. The brakes fade badley. The car understeers horribly. The the materials inside do not compare. Why not compare the Ghibli's performance numbers to a Ford Focus RS. The Focus is probable faster but is it a valid comparison? Not at all. #4, Have any of you priced out the newest and most likely the truest competitor the the Ghibli, the 2020 BMW 840i X-Drive Grandcoupe. I just configured equally equipped 2020 Maserati Ghibli GrandSport S Q4 with a 2020 BMW 840i X-Drive Grandcoupe. The BMW was 12k USA more. I now work for a very large automotive group in the GTA and on the same parking lot we own a Maserati and BMW Franchise. Both sales teams parked them side by side for comparison. Performance they are nearly equal. Paint and body finish is close with the edge given to Maserati. Inside material grade the Maserati is far superior. The premium leather upgrades available on both vehicles are unmatched. The leather and trims are far superior on the Maserati. Plus there are much more leather coverage in the Maserati. The poorly rated BMW I-Drive is the most convoluted and distracting vehicle operating system on the planet. It's sole purpose is to completely divert your attention from the important task of actually driving your car. #5, What the reviewer had failed to tell his subscribers is that he had a 3 year old 2018 model Maserati Ghibli with the older, designed and built, transmission shifter from ZF. He doesn't even have the clout or the resources to get the most current model offerings from the manufacturer. #6, The car that he was driving was not a fully spec's car, Rather is had the standard extended leather feature. For just a couple of thousand dollars more you can get the Maserati Luxury Leather upgrade providing you with the finest Italian hides covering the interior wall to wall. It's about time to have more people speak up about these amature wanna be automotive journalist and hold them accountable for uninformed and unprofessional reviews on cars, trucks, appliances, computers or anything else. For all car buyers out their, my professional advice is simple, make an appointment to physically get off of your lazy asses and go to the dealerships and actually request a lengthy quality test drive. Both in town and on the highway. 20 minutes should be the minimum. That is where you will know if you have chosen the vehicle that is right for you. A Maserati is not a mainstream product, nor do they want to be. They are a very limited production, niche based product. A Maserati is your entry point into the world of exotic type vehicles. To a lesser point in comparison with Bentley, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, etc. With a much more higher level of reliability and resale value than any of those brands. Sit, touch and feel the inside of your Maserati and you will recognize exactly what I am telling you. Again it's not for everyone, we'll assume that you will either love it or hate it. Hence the slogan for our brand, "Maserati, the absolute opposite of ordinary". And our 12,000 plus customer database is just fine with that. Clowns like this reviewer only provide a bias disservice to anyone with an open mind to explore the wonderful world of the ever evolving car industry. No matter what type or price class of vehicle that you are shopping just make sure that you invest quality time researching established/credible automotive publications and on-line magazines before venturing out to the car lots. Then make sure you ask many questions then when you choose the top 2 or 3 vehicles that interest you then take them all out for a quality test drive before making your final decision. I believe that doing your due diligence as a consumer will get you the right vehicle with the minimum amount of the traditional buyers remorse. Cheers.
Wow, that's a very long winded comment but to their credit, I've been subbed here for a while. The Indian guy is new and might need some fine tuning but this channel was never about the reviews. The channel owner (Asian guy) just wanted to shoot car videos in his spare time and somehow it kept progressing to this. They even mention in the channel description that they are just enthusiasts not even journalists. I understand your frustration tho.
On top of being an older model, it's not even a fully optioned one like he lets everyone believe. It's a base SQ4 without leather, Alcantara, nice trim (proper wood or carbon) and so on. I also find it amazing how people are quick to notice the "Chrysler" switches (although they come from Mercedes) but they don't notice how different they are from the Chrysler/Dodge counterparts. I mean you really have to be blind not to notice they have metal inserts, they are made from soft coated plastic and they are LED illuminated.
Ditto, zero issues with mine. Change the oil, replace the tires, all scheduled maintenance and still strong with 105,000 miles on it all with the best exhaust note in the market.
I just got a 2015 sq4 and I absolutely love it, it suits all my needs and got it for $29k with 72k miles, now I don’t think they’re worth 90 grand though
@@sjb3460 as far as performance goes they are quick and handle turns very well, the one I had needed new shocks and a oil pressure sensor which you have to take the valve covers off for, my advice is to buy from Maserati themselves because if you buy used through a third party you will not be able to get gap insurance or a warranty, mine had problems straight out of the place I got it at and that’s why I got rid of it. Other than that the motor and transmission is pretty strong and puts the power to the ground, i honestly don’t know why these things aren’t on the fastest cars for under 40k lists, I wouldn’t buy new though because they are lacking on the luxury side of things and with how much they are new you might as well get an M4 lol, as far as technology goes they’re usually lacking behind Lexus, Mercedes, and Porsche but I believe they updated everything after 2018 or 2019. I now have a 2020 charger R/T and it honestly feels slower, with the sq4 you can launch it from a standstill and not get a single tire chirp, even in the RAIN the tcs in them are amazing, but if you like doing burnouts you won’t be able to there’s a rev limiter for that lol, they could’ve changed that in the newer ones but I don’t know.
@@snp3rshot122 very thru analysis thank u! Mine oil pressure sensor needs to be replaced and I got quotes 760 dollars including parts and labor, was wondering if that’s a reasonable price it’s still over half cheaper than the dealership just want to see ur opinion on it, thank you!
Love my tuned sq4. No one buys a Maserati or an Italian car that is seeking reliability that's for sure. With that being said mine has actually been very reliable. I don't miss any of the tech either. I'd buy a tesla is tech was my thing.
Found a 2014 for 30k; Ghibli SQ4 with a high gloss trim, all leather/carbon fiber interior, red calipers, blacked out rims with 49k miles. Looks Amazing. Definitely seems worth 30k to me?
I just rented one last week and I loved it. Yes, the materials are shit, yes it's not quality, and yes, it is overpriced. But I found the seats to be comfortable, it sounds magnificent and no it's not a slow car. Considering that there are not too many of these on the road (probably because they are in the shop) and you're always going to get looks and have something to talk about...it's a candidate.
I enjoy my Maserati Ghibli no I wasn’t dumb enough to pay 93 thousand dollars for it but I wouldn’t pay that for any car 🙄 understand just because it’s a Maserati doesn’t mean you can drive the car like it’s a formula 1 🏎 in reality it’s a sedan with a nice kick
Terrian Rodgers no not at all I drive my Ghibli everyday people have to realize that the Ghibli is a Maserati sedan not a sports car no car will last if you dog it out
Kia is actually closer to 400+hp (350 at the wheels for the rwd stock) at the engine so not surprising that it can best or hang with this in the top end. They underrated their power like the German three do.
LOL a Stinger will not hang with the ghibli top end.I know had mine at top speed 178.I don't know how this clown is driving it he doesn't know what he is doing.I smoked Kias Stingers with this what a bullshit review.
This is almost as bad as the doug demuro review. This wasent even a sq4 gransport. The gransport does 4.3 4.4 seconds to 60. And calling a driver a professional for flooring it in a straight line is crazy 😂 And oddly this thing is slower then it's actual stats here so you must've done something to bash this car entirely 😂
The car he reviewed had a $72k MSRP. The six figure ones (which he tricked us thinking that particular car is) come with a completely different interior, you won't find any plastic, it's all fine leather, Alcantara, silk, and have the option of getting bucket seats.
I don't think anyone would argue that Maserati is a good new car value, but frankly seem to be one of the best used car values out there. Get it after 3 years of depreciation for a little over $30k, have an awesome time. Granted, service/maintenance costs will be higher, but you wouldn't even be looking at the car if you weren't willing to pay for that. It's intended to be a spirited car, for people who dont show off their party trick infotainment systems
The moment you review begins with a judgement of x.. y... or z vehicle, you've lost all credibility... Second, all cars depreciate!!! you're not saying anything new. Just another Doug Demuro copy/paste review
And just like dumb demoron he reviewed a base, poverty-spec car, but he kept on mentioning the $93k price for a fully loaded one, when, in truth, the one he got it's about $70k.
@@Michael-tm6vs Typically when ppl make the "depreciation" argument, they either A: couldn't afford it to begin with.... B: don't have the intellect to understand that no mass produced product gains value with time and use..... C: Don't have an idea of who the vehicle is marketed to (hint ppl lease these cars new... like bmw, audi, Jaguar, and mercedes... you'd be a fool to buy any of these cars new)... D: Haven't connected the dots that median income in the US is 56k/yr and thus most ppl will buy an accord or camry (which btw also depreciate) ..... Bonus points, civic owners will regularly try to race the base model only to get embarrassed (just sayin!!! )
@@darrylplunkett5676 no shit, all cars depreciate, but not THIS fast. Y'all always say "AlL cArS dEpReCiAtE!!!!!" You guys are missing the fucking point entirely, there's no excuse for an $80,000 car to be worth $25,000 at the end of 5 years. A challenger hellcat loses 33% of it's value over 5 years, astronomically better than any mas ever.
They're not unreliable. My friend has one and even with the tune, down pipe, intake and a bunch of other go quick mods he put on it it has not broken in the 80,000 mi that he's had it. Speaking of which the tune alone pushed his car over 500 horsepower and over 500 foot-pound torque.
Honest? He lied about the price of the car. That's a $70k base car which he willingly let us believe it's a fully loaded $93k car. The fully loaded car actually comes with real leather (finer than what you find anything this side of a Bentley), carbon fiber, Alcantara and you actually have the option of getting sport bucket seats if you want that.
If you want to be taken seriously, don't just shit on the car, but try and figure out and present as to why the experience is such. Quick google search shows that Ghibli came out in 2013 with Stinger being released in 2017. So it's no wonder that the Kia is matching it's performance numbers. Since Fiat is a parent company to both Crysler and Masetari, they both share parts, that practice is common.
oyurcha1 Maserati refreshed the ghibli in 2018. If they wanna be taken seriously, they had the chance here to bring it up to speed with the rest of the car world instead of adding “20” horsepower. And the Kia being new is not an excuse. A 2013 bmw 550i is still better than the 2013 ghibli and 2018 stinger.
If he would have wanted to be taken seriously, he wouldn't have lied about the price of the car. He is reviewing a base car with no options (hence the missing leather and the plastic shifter) but he is implying it's a fully decked near six figures car.
The sound that MC STRADALE makes is just other worldy and the throttle response from that 4.7L V8 naturally aspirated plus you got that s*xy looks too !!

It sounds great, but the fact that much of the switch gear and infotainment is parts-bin from Dodge is a deal breaker. Unless all you care about is the badge, there are much better sports sedan options at $90k Great job presenting Sean!
Your numbskull logic kill it for car enthusiast.... Find me a vehicle made that doesn't parts share??? People are spending 20k over msrp for the Toyota Supra aka BMW Z4!!! ... Fact is ALL car companies parts share!!! ALL car companies rebadge!!!! Lamborghini Huracan = Audi R8 (Rebadge) just like the Buick Regal GS = Opal Insignia !!!! This isn't a car review, this is a copy/paste from Doug Demuro
Switch gear comes from Mercedes (that's where Chrysler got it too) and it's vastly improved - better materials, metal inserts, LED lighting, etc. And speaking of Infotainment, have you seen older Maserati and Ferrari infotainment systems? The Uconnect is godsend.
@@darrylplunkett5676 - Exactly. Thank fuck there's someone with sense in the comments section. What's the problem with a Dodge infotainment system in a Maserati if the Sat Nav works well and it has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? If it works well, it works well. The video is MISLEADING, he’s not driving the highest model of the Ghibli which is 93k. First off this dude is judging the seats and dashboard because it’s not leather, what do you expect , you’re driving the base model. I would not trust this INDIAN. Stick to your Toyota kid.
Killing it with the presentation! Getting more and more natural. Over 13s in the 1/4 mile for $93K is not exactly thrilling. Lots of other cars I'd spend that money on for sure. Love the brutally honest review. Heck, an STI S209 can match those times and save you $30K, plus hold value better. :P
"This stuff that looks like leather is not leather." : Maserati offers one of the most exclusive and refined Italian leather interiors. The version of Ghibli you are driving is not equipped with that, so it's normal that what is not leather doesn't look like leather.
Because he reviewed a $70k base car with no options, fooling everyone into thinking it's a fully decked near $100k one. Not honest. He start off with a lie - that's a base, poverty-spec, no options car, not a $93k fully loaded one. The car he reviewed is $70k before any dealer discounts.
Salty buyers I see in comments. Look this car is overpriced new. Buy it used. They borrowed so much from Chrysler/Dodge to make this car if you never had been in a Dodge/Chrysler you wouldn’t know that your luxury car has the same buttons as a 2011 police car.
This review is anything from honest. He's reviewing a $70k base car with no options, although he mislead us thinking it's a fully loaded $93k one. That's why there is no real leather and other nice amenities like the sport bucket seats that are optional for people that don't want the comfort of the luxury ones.
I stopped watching when he said "it's a Maserati and it has a Maserati engine". Are you serious? Ferrari has been making every engine for Maserati for over the last decade at least. If your gonna review cars know what the "F" your talking about!
Well, all jealous people spit on things they can’t have. I had many Italian cars, mostly Alfas and all were great. No big issues, especially if compared to the driven kilometers. Each had more than 250K and I sold them in good condition. I had Maserati 3200 for a short period of time and it was amazing car as well. So, I’m used to hear such like comments and I can only say - shame on you!
And the buttons on the Porsche 911 r from a Volkswagen. So what? The infotainment is made by Pioneer and sourced in multiple FCA products......just like BMW, Porsche, Jaguar etc. the shifter was redesigned in 2019. U should find another hobby.
Get this guy in a Kia or a Hyundai. He would be a good reviewer of daily driver value cars. He do not understand or appreciate the unique characteristics of European performance sport cars. These are weekend cars that are made for people who drive their Toyotas to work. They are not concern about any of the issues he addressed. They simple write a check to correct it if need be and not worry about how much the repair cost.

However, your performance criticisms are nonsense. If a car has 424 hp and weighs the best part of 1.9 tonnes, it's not going to be a rocketship. It'll be a fast car but nothing more. The 0-60, 0-100 and 1/4 mile times are exactly what you'd expect from a car that weighs that much and has that level of power. Do I think the Ghibli is a great car? Probably not. Is this review unfair towards the Ghibli? Yes.

That's pretty low when you get mentioned in the same sentence as a Dodge product. As a Lexus owners I love when they compare my vehicle to a Toyota. At least Toyota makes great vehicles that last.
how can you review a car like a Maserati and say its a bunch of crap? not exactly the best terminology, I agree that it depreciates quite rapidly, but your way off the mark in reviewing this car
Tbh the car is nice as i own one but the only complain that i have of this car is the repair costs its just too expensive for this car but rest all i love it eveey car is different and beutiful in its own way so Just my opinion
I have a 2003 Acura CL Type S with headers and a cold air intake, giving it about 300hp and 250 foot pounds. Saw one of these earlier today, a 2019, and I was able to almost keep up with it. Should NOT be happening considering the HP and torque differences.. Compare used prices, you can get an older, like 2016, for $30k-ish, and hope it doesn't break down. My car cost $3,200 and has required no serious maintenance in the year I've owned it. Just saying.

1:46 into the video and you can tell this is one of the few channels where words aren't minced if a car is SHIT!!! I feel sorry for the owner of this car. Must have been a bargain
This guy was already negative about the car before he reviewed it. Pure bias, man knows nothing about cars. this channel weak af, stop tryna b top gear
this is NOT a sports car, how can you call yourself a car reviewer if all that you care about here is the lap numbers? :) this is actually one of the most fun cars to drive, unless you are a fan boy, burning your tires every single traffic light. This car does not need to prove anything, but you do not understand that and this is the main problem here. Its like you would take BMW 5 series and compare it to some brutally tuned M5 and then cry over that 5 series being too slow for you, when you don't even get the main point of this car. Cause for italians this particular Ghibli is like everyday 5 series for germans. This car is made to cruise around mountain roads and receive emotions from that sound and logical amount of power, which is more than enough for anyone. And yes, the worst part was "lets give it to a professional driver" ... grow up
Not really. The only thing they failed at is offering the base, poverty spec cars like this. A proper fully loaded Ghibli, not like the one he reviewed, comes with real leather (finer than what you find anything this side of a Bentley), carbon fiber, Alcantara, silk leather shifter, has the option of getting sport bucket seats if you want that, and feels every bit like a proper Maserati.
A Trofeo version with their twin-turbo V8 would solve a lot of problems.
Then Maserati would ask $200k for that lol
It's coming!
Estimate starting price for the RWD GTS Ghibli is $115k USA Dollars. There will be no AWD model. It will be a purist super GT with 550HP. Top Speed in excess of 200 MPH.
Have you ever thought that some people who buy the Maserati don't buy it for the "I have a bigger dick then yours" type of mentality? Just a thought!
Exactly. I’m on my 3rd Maserati. I love mine and everyone always ask what kind of car is that.

Great job on the review Sean. I appreciate you were honest about not only what you don't like but the reasons why.

The infotainment system is also a marked improvement over the original one. It's responsive and logically laid out. It has the BMW iDrive-style rotary controller and shortcut buttons that make the system quick and easy to navigate on the move. I've encountered systems WAY, WAY WORSE including on my dad's 2018 Jag XF.
Sean's nickpicking with regards to sharing infotainment technology applies to many other performance marques too but that doesn't suit his narrative. How about the new DB11, DBS and DBX that come with an old Mercedes infotainment system that doesn't even have Android Auto or Apple Carplay? The Nav and infotainment is definitely worse in those cars. Or how about even infotainment systems in other high performance cars that share technology with lower models/marques that are pretty mediocre? Nissan GT-R, most Ferrari's for example etc.
Woe betide Maserati for picking a Nav/Infotainment system that's actually bloody good and markedly better/more intuitive than many other offerings.
lol at the segment where Sean beats on the Maserati Interior 🤣🤣
Because what he is reviewing is a $70k base poverty spec car, not the $93k fully loaded one. That one actually comes with real leather (finer than what you find anything this side of a Bentley), carbon fiber, Alcantara and you actually have the option of getting sport bucket seats if you want that.
Go and buy yourself a Kia, you suit it..
Exactly.
Right? All he cares about are numbers. I'm feeling he does most of his driving in Gran Turismo.
He drives a Jaguar F Pace SVR supercharged V8 LoL
ikr lmao, he doesnt even match this beauty
please do an review on genesis g70 3.3T
The video is MISLEADING, he’s not driving the highest model of the Ghibli which is 93k. First off this dude is judging the seats and dashboard because it’s not leather, what do you expect , you’re driving the base model. I would not trust this INDIAN. Stick to your Toyota kid.
Hahahahah 👍🏼
Closed course, my ass 😂
I'm pretty sure they're just trolling people now.
Have you thought that maybe some people who buy the Maserati don't buy for the "I have a bigger dick then yours" type of mentality ! Lol...
It’s only worth $30K to you? Harsh.
He really mean he can only afford 30K.
The top end ones come with real leather (finer than what you find anything this side of a Bentley), carbon fiber, Alcantara, silk, leather shifter, and have the option of getting sport bucket seats, and the difference between those and the car he reviewed is night and day.
Its a rare italian beauty. Who give a shit about common bmw/ benz or lexus....this is style and head turner. I never saw turned heads for BMWs))
and nobody cares if their car turns heads or not, not everyone is an attention seeking loser
Your Stoned! ... Drove this car for a week... It never tired, handles great and was very stable!
Right..he must of got paid to bash this car lol. He never mentioned it was the base model. I think he was saying its the sq4 model which the car in the video is not
I would question your “Honest” opinion, I do not concur with you!
A very honest review. I'd still rent one on Turo LOL!!!
Not honest in any way. He lies about the price and the spec of the car. It's a base $70k no options car he's reviewing, not a $93k fully decked one that comes with real leather (finer than what you find anything this side of a Bentley), carbon fiber, Alcantara, silk leather shifter, and you actually have the option of getting sport bucket seats if you want that.
Another awesome review. Brutally honest as always. This continues to be one of my favorite channels. Great job!
I subscribed due to the honesty of this review. Look forward to see you reviewing average man's cars with honesty.
This review is anything from honest. He's reviewing a $70k base car with no options, although he mislead us thinking it's a fully loaded $93k one. That's why there is no real leather and other nice amenities like the sport bucket seats that are optional for people that don't want the comfort of the luxury ones.
Can you guys do some audi's? the QRS4 is seen as a competitor for Urus. That would give yall some real numbers to work with.
I paid $19,000 for my disappointment and love it!
Your opinion, plain and clear. NOT FACT! Double, triple quadruple thumbs down.
When i get a wife, i'm buying her a Honda, not a Maserati.
"get"
Are you muslim by any chance?
Apparently you can just get a wife
Mori Takashi I’m sure the wife be so excited
So you're gonna get her a Honda when you could get a Maserati for the same price?
BUT @ $30k. 3yrs old. I’d take it 👌🏼
Thanks for your honest opinion.
What's the problem with a Dodge infotainment system in a Maserati if the Sat Nav works well and it has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? If it works well, it works well. The infotainment system is a marked improvement over the original one. It's responsive and logically laid out. It has the BMW iDrive-style rotary controller and shortcut buttons that make the system quick and easy to navigate on the move. I've encountered systems WAY, WAY WORSE including on my dad's 2018 Jag XF.
You're nitpicking with regards to sharing infotainment technology applies to many other performance marques too. What about the new DB11, DBS and DBX that come with an old Mercedes infotainment system that doesn't even have Android Auto or Apple Carplay? The Nav and infotainment is definitely worse in those cars. Or how about even infotainment systems in other high performance cars that share technology with lower models/marques that are pretty mediocre? Nissan GT-R, most Ferrari's for example etc.
I can understand your criticisms with regards to interior quality on the Ghibli, it should be better. No arguments there.
Yes.
Is a 2014 maserati with 130k miles for $20k a steal??
Does be have a review of my vehicle? The Range Rover Sport SC w/Dynamic Package. I'd be curious to see how he slams a Rover.
Luckily you know a lot about cars, dont you?
"I am talking about you rich folks out there" haha dead 😂
Some of the rich folk don't care what you poor envious people think... lol
@@guilmarperez4674 whenever someone says they hates maserati, fanboys like you just say they are envious, LOL
@@Timesplitter888 whenever someone like you talks smack about a car you have never driven or owned, bozos like you are just envious
@@da12nv515 Who said I have not driven it?
@@Timesplitter888 u never did tho ueahhh Remember me? Even Scotty Kilmer said porches are trash and he’s a real mechanical guy
Well I don’t know why everyone is batching this car and always comparing to cars that they don’t ever review 😏 interesting 🤔
Ok, so you would pay 30 grand for a 430 HP all wheel drive Italian car. I can see you know your stuff.
Thanks for being honest, but I just love Maserati not realiable 😆
“Not reliable 😆” I’m lowkey tired of seeing all these flawed statements they’re not facts
Who cares what this dude says I'm not trying to win the Indiana 500 I just want to get back and forth looking good and that car does the job.
So im lookin at a camouflaged 2014 maserati but it got 130k miles but only $20k. I wanna buy it specifically to put on turo… is that not smart? Lol i aint seein good reviews on this car😭
Nice review!
That's pretty low when you get mentioned in the same sentence as a Dodge product.
As a Lexus owners I love when they compare my vehicle to a Toyota. At least Toyota makes great vehicles that last.
Well lexus is a fancy toyota...so...
Damn but it sounds sooo good
Wow! I never knew.....makes me sad...
How can you pretend to be a car reviewer when the only thing I perceive is just hate for this car?
Nobody tell ChrisFix's father
Lol.. Saw his video the other day about that. As long as his dad is happy I suppose.
At least chrisfix only paid $26,000
The shifter is sourced.
how can you review a car like a Maserati and say its a bunch of crap? not exactly the best terminology, I agree that it depreciates quite rapidly, but your way off the mark in reviewing this car
Man, get yourself a Fiat Multiple. There you will have plenty of space and a good price
He’s driving a granlusso and complaining abt features that r missing on the granlusso but r on the gransport
You buy it for your wife in hopes it breaks down....gives you more time with your girlfriend and you won't get caught
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lol 😂 no car is worth 93 thousand dollars dummy
thanks for confirming this is total crap, I keep having to talk my friends out of buying used models of this car.
Another solid review!
Would have been "solid" if he would have said the car he reviewed is a base $70k tops car, not the fully decked $93k he lets everyone believe it is.
Preach on brother!! Rich folks don't care, they just want the prestige of owning a Maserati
i think you should test a took took
Tbh the car is nice as i own one but the only complain that i have of this car is the repair costs its just too expensive for this car but rest all i love it eveey car is different and beutiful in its own way so
Just my opinion
I have a 2003 Acura CL Type S with headers and a cold air intake, giving it about 300hp and 250 foot pounds.
Saw one of these earlier today, a 2019, and I was able to almost keep up with it.
Should NOT be happening considering the HP and torque differences..
Compare used prices, you can get an older, like 2016, for $30k-ish, and hope it doesn't break down.
My car cost $3,200 and has required no serious maintenance in the year I've owned it.
Just saying.
Bro your car comes stock with 260 crank hp a cold air intake maybe adds 5hp an headers maybe add like 15 to 20 hp so at best you would have 285 crank hp which is more realistically 250 wheel hp there’s no way you were even close to keeping up With a car that has over 400 crank hp 😂😂😂
You seem more like a Ricer trying to sound cool just being honest bud you have a damn near stock old Honda product not an exotic remember that
Trust me bro, that dude was not racing you. You’re just a poor punk in a junk car trying to bother people.
1:46 into the video and you can tell this is one of the few channels where words aren't minced if a car is SHIT!!!
I feel sorry for the owner of this car. Must have been a bargain
I know what's coming next
😄😄😄
And yes, the worst part was "lets give it to a professional driver" ... grow up
Maserati = so much fail. They had so many chances to make this right.
Why would you even pay 30k for it?
when you drive a Maserati a cow crossed the road what do you do ??? Do you ride the cow
Huh
