I love your writing style, I like how early on in the story you showed off Eric's mental health slipping during him explaining his fantasy about tying her up and forcing her to write, as well as giving it like, an actual reason for his mental health being the way it was, with a traumatic past (hinted at with his dad), and the hole miscarriage (I also really like how you brought the miscarriage mention back in the very end)
Also I'm a repetition slut and I really loved your use of it at the very end (I listened to a couple of your other stories and saw you used it in a few other stories which is just 👌👌)
I can tell you put alot of thought into these characters and there story.
Thanks for the kind words. I feel like the miscarriage background is what destroyed their relationship and Eric's mania at trying to get her to finish the novel is a weak substitution for the child they lost so I'm glad you picked up on it.
I really try to incorporate anaphoras (repetition of certain phrases to build a crescendo) and alliterative phrases when I can (Listen to the "Paid for in Blood" narration by Dr. Creepen or read it on the Creepypasta wiki) as these are styles that don't get really incorporated into too many creepypastas.

God damnit and well played on the author's part. How does it end? Well. That. That dear and fellow listeners is for us to consider isn't it? Does he finish her work before falling dead? Does he get arrested for murder? What is the end? Or perhaps it is a loop where there is no end. Perhaps there will be an end at a later time. For now. There simply is none.
Thanks for the insight. Glad you enjoyed it. Funny you should mention a loop as that's what I was really thinking about when writing about these two character's relationship.
It's toxic and cyclical. They're both terrible for each other and their discontent is reiterative. They thought bringing a child into the world might help fix their relationship, but they are unable to be parents. The novel becomes this surrogate for the child they lost, but that just makes things worse and highlights their incompatibility.

Great story I loved it but with it bringing up writing a story it sparked a memory of an earlier creepypasta I watched a long time ago and forgot the name of it. Basics of it is that a guy feels like hes not really in control of his life and that everything around him is being written and created and that he's in a story and it ends with him trapped in his basement where he writes down exactly what happened word for word so we're lead to believe he's writing his own infinite loop. If anyone can remember what story that was I'd be very greatful.
I liked this one though it didn't end how I thought it would.

This is gonna be so random and really has nothing to do with this story, but I was thinking of old things I used to watch on vhs tapes I used to own ( I don't sleep much so my mind wanders). I used to own a vhs tape of the old kids puppet show Howdy Doody. Don't remember where I got it and no longer own it. Would love if someone came up with some weird freaky horror story based on that show lol. Sorry for the randomness. Wanted to throw that idea out there and see if anyone liked it.
