I’m still happy with Dart and my lease. Almost all my loads are live load or unload. Maybe 1 drop and hook every week or every other week. My worst week I’ve had this quarter was the week of Christmas. I did 2 runs and made 50 bucks but still paid for the truck. Wasn’t great but eh. With 3 days a week I’m making about 400-500. 5 days a week I’m bringing anywhere from 1200-1600. All I do is intermodal on their mainstream account in Memphis and I’m home daily. I’m sure a lot of guys will say I could make that as a company guy and they’re right, but I get the freedom to take whatever days I want off, and I’m 2 years I’ll own a truck and make a bit more money after.
Over all I’m happy here. Highway sales has been good to me when the truck has given me issues and I needed repairs. My dispatch is chill, safety doesn’t get onto me.
I think the thing with being a lease op that most guys don’t realize is you can’t be in much debt or someone who wants lots of toys. You gotta save save save cus you never know what tomorrow will bring.

I live in Southwest part of the Country ? can you stay out OTR for 3 to 8 weeks at a time ? do they have a tanker or flat bed division ? do they go into Canada ?
Winter time, I'd primarily won't to run in the Southern part of the Country ?

What about a lease program that pays 80%percent of load, is that good?

Very good. Check to make sure they can keep you running, is it hand load or no touch freight.how often do you get pai, how much is buy out, is it a walk away, does it go on your credit if you turn back in the truck? Lots of questions you need to ask

Yes. If they have any available. Last year they got in a lot of New Peterbilts. But that’s a 5 year lease.
