Would any edits or changes made using the flash drive for our songs be saved when we use a different device for Rekordbox? For context, I am using a Pioneer DJ FLX4 and have songs downloaded from my computer on a USB drive for if I use my friends laptop. So if any changes were made using my friends laptop which is using the flashdrive, would they be saved if I used it again on my primary computer?
When I pressed export to usb it popped up with what devices it is supported on and only 3 devices where listed, and none where cdjs can Somone please help me
yeah you selected the wrong library format (which is only supported by a couple of machines). Choose the option to export both formats. Annoying and counter intuitive? 100%!
Maybe you've got some insight into an issue that im having with rekordbox sync manager currently: whenever i select specific playlists to sync... it exports my ENTIRE collection to the USB no matter what. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I keep my music in a dropbox folder but DON'T use cloud sync? Regardless, my solve has been to just export specific playlists your :36 way.
Update: I visually dragged my music from the collection added in Rekordbox on my laptop to the device. Like using Windows Explorer. I have no idea why the 'standard' methods did not do that.
i have exported playlist in usb drive and it was working on cdj but i did again and now it dosen’t work anymore.. the cdj is reading the usb but the playlist dosen’t appear ? Is this because im using the free version ?
I exported the multiple playlist. But when i check the folder from the device my laptop. The song isnt inside of folder. Each song has a folder. And when i put my usb into rx2. The file is not inside of playlist. But in different folder name key. I confuse
sync manager gone?? it is here in the video. why do you want to export it one by one? far easier to select all the playlists at once, or right click on collection en choose export
depends on the equipment. you might only want to format 32gb for the largest compatibility Here is a complete guide and explanation on my site: www.deejayplaza.com/en/articles/format-usb-drive-rekordbox-cdj-2000

yes, by checking the checkbox the message won't appear next time

Ive had more problems with sync.
I submitted also bugs to pioneer in the past about the sync feature
whenever i analyse my tracks the export button doesn't appear do i need to have a usb button plugged in for the button to appear
yes
After this process, can i use the USB to transfer those files to me pc so that i can upload them for sharing ?
no
I've tried all methods shown but the mp3 files do not show up on my USB drive. Believe me I've checked all folders.
Update: I visually dragged my music from the collection added in Rekordbox on my laptop to the device. Like using Windows Explorer. I have no idea why the 'standard' methods did not do that.
Which plan do I need for that ?
the let-the-trial-expire plan

far easier to select all the playlists at once, or right click on collection en choose export
Heb jij een betaalde versie van rekordbox? Want ik krijg een heel ander scherm als ik op de sync manager klik
nope helemaal gratis.
Je zou hetzelfde scherm moeten krijgen
