Sold. Buying one for my Christmas present right now! My first Yamaha kit!
Congratulation dear friend, that kit sounds unbelievable, and as good as the Absolute maple custom and as good as the old Maple custom.
My'opinion, same lugs as the old absolute maple custom and same ply, almost.
Fantastic kit.
Okay, that triplet-to-sixteenth note transition at 01:38 was incredible. Yamaha picked a great drummer to demo this kit!
Who is this guy?
Technique impeccable...grande fluidité...excellent musicien, très créatif
Love these new snares guys!! Fantastic sound 🥁🙌🏻🔥
These are beauties. I can’t think of a better deal considering the price and the value of such a gorgeous and nice sounding drum.
There are great drummer's and really great drummer's. This player is on another level. I've been behind the skins for over 34+years. My top fav's are Omar Hakim, Dave weckl, Jimmy Chamberlin, Dave Elitch and Stewart Copeland. So hats off to whoever this guy is 🥁👌
It’s Shoji Hirakawa
never seen him play before but u can obviously see the talent and experience he has
Hell yeah Jimmy Chamberlin
Unbelievable kit so musical, well it's Yamaha. 😎
Beautiful playing
Great sounding kit and nice playing 😃 ☝
Excellent drums and demo. Thank you
Glad you liked it!
I bought the 6&1/2" deep Tour Custom. Best 350 bucks I ever spent.
What a terrific drummer
Really nice touch , very good drummer ,sensitive . Good guy
I want both of them so bad.
I was hoping they'd do this! Great news!
Great demo
Awesome!
I want one now! 😍
I love/play Yamaha drums myself. I am sure these drum sound great, but Shoji could probably make cardboard boxes sound musical... this is a great demonstration of his drumming/musical ability! Here's what I want to know... was this performance really only recorded via the Yamaha EAD10 mic module? I don't see any other mics, but wonder if there might have been some overheads that just didn't show up on the video. The recorded drum sound was excellent, and it sounded like it had been "close miked."
Very nice sound.
Perfect.
sehr schön!
Bonne rythmique...excellent musicien
Damn, that’s a rad shirt he’s wearing!! Where can I find that one?
By the size of that bass drum. It sounds really good.
Gotta be a 20-incher.
Yep, just re-confirming hah. At 0:54... 20x15” BD
I want one of those T Shirts
Yamaha please, made the 16" floor tom a possibility to buy it individually.
I would like to buy the Tour custom in sizes 20/10/12/14 and with the 16" floor tom too in addition. À la kendrick scott haha.
Please check with your local dealer! www.yamaha.com/2/locationselector/
where is the TOUR CUSTOM manufactured?
Woow
Thinking of switching from Ludwig CMs to these....hmm??
We might be biased, but do it.
@@YamahaDrumsEurope I don't know, going to need some convincing
Good decision, Ludwig Cm fantastic drums for sure but too heavy, plus no one will tell the difference eyes closed in front of the room/garage with this fantastic Tour custom vs Ludwig cm. With remo coated or Evans Coated heads this tour custom sounds ad good as the old maple custom and the maple absolute custom too.
Can't go wrong, there's a guy who switched gretsch renown to this tour custom. Cause the renown was too much heavy, gretsch/Ludwig floor tom are like a bass drum of Yamaha in terms of weight.
the Ludwig and gretsch sounds better, according to some pro gretsch/Ludwig, but lots of these guys switched to Yamaha.
There's something about Yamaha sounds that is hypnotizing. The sounds of Yamaha is something unique.
Oi,
which stick did you use in the video? Obrigado!!
Vic Firth 5A!
@@drummer_hirakawa Thanks!
