Its depends on how long the engagement is a year or less, its might be kinda pushing it for a custom dress, plus its easier for most brides to choose from a place than make one wait a moth or two or three for a mockup, decide if they like it, either scrap that dress idea or making changes to the dress, wait a couple months, do the first step again until they like the design or if they made the changes make sure they like those changes, and if they do wait a couple months for the final dress to be made and then try it for a last fitting, then wait a month or so. Its a lot of work on the brides part while they are planning a wedding and living life, and finding a dress is already a long and stress process most of the time, getting custom is fun, yes, but can also be a lot more stress than a bride would want.

Bridal color is suggestive. White wasn't a thing until Queen Victoria.
Well, every tradition has to start somewhere :) White for a wedding dress is rooted in ppl's minds already. I think it's quite recognizable as I don't think we wore white outside of weddings often. I like when u can recognize the bride right away - She Will be the only one wearing that colour.

I was holding my breath because the other dresses were hideous. That Red with the contrating beading was exquisite.

In India, Pakistan, and many countries, red is the festive color of weddings. In India, people wear white to funerals to indicate an absence of color, hence emotions.

@@yourblackstar19 not "not allowed", its just cosidered bad luck. Like in west widows used to dressed in black, white is the asian colour for a widow. So a newly married bride to wear white is "considered" by the conventional people as kind of bad luck

The dress is literally personalised and made to fit them perfectly
Agreed
