I have an autoimmune condition - alopecia. No drugs are really effective for this condition so I finally turned to the functional doctor route. I had 2 pathogenic forms of yeast overgrowth. I’m on a protocol to address it and I couldn’t believe that all these other symptoms I’ve been dealing with just disappeared within 5 days!! Brain fog, INTENSE sugar cravings daily, energy up and down. I feel super awake/alert/0 cravings for sugar! It’s insane. @nickshand That's so awesome to hear! I've had those symptoms disappear by going KETO, THEN CARNIVORE ie KETOVORE! Dr Peter Osborne's book o Grain, No Pain explains the types of gluten and where it hides, even in cosmetics and body care items. FYI: Wild Rice is ok because it's a grass. In any event, GLUTEN CAUSES INFLAMMATION & by eliminating it, I no longer need anti-inflammatories or pain meds!!! The brain fog, memory loss, aches, pains and fatigue are diminished so much, I feel.almost normal, say 85-90% most days! As in, I have so much ENERGY NOW & am living life to the fullest! It's like a MIRACLE!💫🧚♀️🧞

I have dealt with this worse now that I have gone through menopause gained weight! I’m miserable. I am going to a gastrointestinal doctor so I’m gonna see if I get any where with him. They want me to have a colonoscopy I did that stupid box test it was positive for abnormal dna. Not positive for cancer. So no!

Hi Eric, I read an article a while back that John Hopkins researchers are linking mental illness to yeast infections. You mentioned depression confirming that. They're even saying schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, etc. some of those could be connected to candida as well. This study was conducted back in 2016. Very interesting! Eric - thank you - you are a STAR, a God send to SO many people! Keep doing what you're doing Doc. Your words of wisdom, common sense, and kindness and concern for people ought to be scribed in GOLD and your protocol ought to be taught in 'medical schools.' I was to become a 'GP' but god's plan took me on another path - to think that I could have become a typical GP prescribing pain killers and antibiotics, steroids and vaccines......diagnosing Candida patients with psychotic illnesses ... This almost happened to me but my GPs always seemed afraid to tell me on my face that I was mad (probably cos I looked and sounded like I'd punch them in the face - which I almost did on many occasions lol).

I'm 50 but because I am a latent developer, people think I'm in my 30s. I began developing a reddish brown patches on the right side of my upper chest when I used to work out with very old weights when I was 17. I believed that it was the source of my problems. It was hardly anything but it gradually began to spread underneath my forearms but again, just a little bit and hardly noticeable. By the time I turned 20, the blotches spread a little more throughout my chest and stomach but still not very noticeable. A university doctor examined me and even scraped parts of my affected skin and examined the material. He said that they couldn't determine what it was and gave me skin cream. Instead of improving, it got progressively worse. By my late 20s, the blotches were all over my back and near the the corners of the upper part of my legs in the genital area. I went to several Korean doctors while I lived in Korea and they did little to help me. One even said to forget about finding out what I'm allergic to because it will be like opening a Pandora's box. I noticed that throughout my life, I tended to take lots of antibiotics. In fact, it got so bad one time in 1988 that 5 penicillin injections failed to take care of a bad flu I had. So now I have decided to get rid of this once and for all. I quit taking any kinds of grains, sugar and fruits (except prickly pears and pomegranites). No tea or coffee either. I am following your regimen that I saw on one of your videos. This fungus (which I believe it is) never used to itch until about a few years ago. And it's hardly a problem.
I believe that what I have can be eliminated because while living in Korea, I went to a Chinese-medicine doctor who told me to eat nothing but pumpkin porridge for one month for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the skin problems disappeared, so he said that it was evidence of a food allergy. I think it's candida because I used to suffer from bad sinus problems and headaches almost all my life. I used to eat a lot of cream of wheat with canned milk for decades. I stopped that many years ago and instead ate a hot quinoa cereal with black rice bread. My mother also was under a lot o stress when I was born along with another twin. She actually died for a few minutes when she gave birth to us. So I believe her illness and stress had an impact on my health. I never drank or smoked but I ate a lot of sugary foods for many decades. I started to change my diet about 15 years ago. Now I don't suffer from most of the problems I used to suffer from a lot and I rarely get sick. But the skin problems persist. When I hold up any one of my arms against the sun or any light, I can actually see that the patches are a mold or fungus of some type. Those affected areas tend to be raised up on my skin, as if it they were islands on an ocean. I also have two really bad toes in which the nails are lifted up and there's a lot of white powdery stuff imbedded between the nail and skin. Other toes are not affected, just two that are close together on my right foot. I sometimes wonder if I have another condition but i believe it's candida and definitely fungal related. I've been on an anti-candida diet for almost a month, but I hadn't eliminated certain foods that I think are bad for me. Now I'm eating only the kinds of foods you suggested. After I finish eating the remainder of the prickly pears and pomegranates that I have, I will cut off all fruit for at least a week or more. This is a lot to write but I believe the more information you have, the better.

I have thrush after black mold exposure, many antibiotics, very sick, couldn't breathe, mold spores pinched my skin causing sores, & had just recovered from a large hobo bite, tea tree, took 2 yrs; a vegetarian 30 years, now vegan since hobo bite 2 years. I have always been thin, but teeth fell out when in hospital w/ diabetes 2006, the day I also quit smoking cigarettes, never again. No alcohol since 1992 with my job as a professional singer. Now at 65, I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, & had migraines since the age of 20, stress level is extreme, always alone, no help raising my children who do not respect me. I'm synonymous w/ a nun since 1998. No dates at all, no good men to clean up after, lol. Married 5 times & divorced all because of mental abuse. Money was/is never enough. Judges forced me to accept minimum child support; They live nearby; grandchild I raised, 18 next year!! I digress w/stress. What can I eat as vegan on SSA? Chronic Constipation all my life.

Thanks for taking the time to help so many, doc. I've been sick with this thing for years. I was diagnosed by a naturopath about 8 years ago but had been showing symptoms for at least four years before that. Some of the symptoms you are talking about here are like what I have. My main ones are head fog, light headedness, tinnitus, blurry vision and constipation. The blurry vision is a real pain. I've had my eyes checked by optometrists and opthamologists and they tell me its normal age related change. Problem is some days its pretty good; other days, usually along with other symptoms, its not. Following along in your book now. Looking very forward to beating this thing.
After all these years & 100s of drs visits ct scans gi & colonoscopy.. with no real answers this explains it all. Everything down to the t. Your videos are stop & finally it all makes sense & I have some real hope. Thank you sooo much

I was the same in my mid-twenties. Went from one doctor to another, treated like a imbecile, seen as a "psychiatric patient" rather than a person with a serious yeast infection. Sadly, not much has changed today. Never give up hope! The crazy thing is that I ended up treating many doctors of medicine (inc. even endocrinologists, paediatricians, anaesthetists, etc.) - with yeast infections LOL. After all their drugs failed to work - they paid me a visit. I could write a book about it, a crazy but true story!
Im 25 and feel the same, i keep getting stuck in life while everyone else is flying past me effortlessly. I cant concentrate on anything anymore, cracking joints, cronic dry eyes, cronic pain, inflamation (got crp levels checked recently and they said they were elevated), gluten intolerance, massive anxiety problems, severe depression. This really sucks espescially when i nearly figured it out month ago and told my doctor who seemed to really get pissed at me for doing her job and telling her my diagnosis. Its just that they are not helping me in any way so i need to figure it out myself.

Thanks for the great information, primary care doctors just want to prescribe pills to treat the symtoms. At one time I had serious bloating and gas, I told him about my lack of appetite and informed him about what I consume like muffins, candy, mostly sweets so he sends me for ultrasound looking for tumors.

I have very bad pain right above my eyebrows and under my cheekbones. Like when I apply pressure with my fingers. The pain is very achy and feels deep. Could it be candida causing my facial pain?
Get your teeth checked out, your maxillary sinus could be misbehaving. You may have a sinus infection? Try some nasal douching. I'd recommend if nobody can find out what the bleep is wrong, to request a Pan- X-ray of your upper & lower jaw (Panoramatic, all your teeth) to check for cracked teeth, sick teeth, dead teeth, etc. I've seen this before in my clinic many times. The "unexplained" person who everybody tried to refer to somebody else, hoping someone else would take that patient with the "we don't know what it is problem" with them.

My HCL is good . Every time I take digestive enzymes I get worst . I was diagnosed wit IBS but now it Candida severe food sensitivities. I tried everything with no relief. I even went ketosis with no relief.

I'm hoping you will get back to me. I've got an extremely painful rash under my armpit I believe is from candida. It started out a small red, and itchy area that grew and took over my entire armpit. It's been progressing for the past 4 months, and at this point it's unbearable. My skin is badly cracked and it will puss clear fluid occasionally. It is now spreading to my left armpit, which is scaring the hell out of me.
I've cut sugars, alcohol, starchy carbs for the last week...I've added coconut oil, probiotics, recommended foods, apple cider vinegar, grapefruit see extract, pau d'arco tea, bentonite clay, oregano oil, and a gallon of water daily to my diet. My pits, if anything are just getting worse.
I do not feel ANY other symptoms of candida, such as bloating, gas, brain fog, depression, energy, or libido problems. Growing up I did eat a lot of sugar, and know as I'm older it's less sugar and more beer. I exercise regularly, am a healthy weight, and consider myself "healthy" overall.
I am seeing a ND in a few days for diagnosis, but if the diagnosis is Candida, I will be getting on Canxida ASAP. I would like to know your take beforehand, have you ever seen a skin rash as I described? I can send a picture if you'd like.

I changed my diet to lose weight the past 12 months. I lost weight, people noticed. I am eating 125g of raspberries, two bananas, and a handful of peanuts and almonds for breakfast. For lunch, 160g yoghurt (150 calories) and 125g raspberries, another handful of nuts. So same breakfast/lunch every day for 12 months. For dinner, meat and vegetables. I also drink 500ml diet soda every day. I now have oral thrush, white tongue. Pharmacist gave me nystatin. I am confused how I got this problem when I removed candy from my diet, removed bread, etc. so confused. 5 days of nystatin, tongue is feeling much better
I have been light headed or dizzy for about three weeks.. I have ruled out heart and lung problems FYI (long story). But I have a question. The past couple days my dizzy/lightheaded spells have got worse, mainly as I eat and drink even water and accompanied by some nausea. My back has been very tight as well and seems to be causing nerve pains in my legs and neck.

i am SO glad you covered the nasal snorting as a sign. it all makes perfect sense now. mine is behind my uvula. a single cup of yogurt triggered the growth (exactly like you explained) a couple years ago and i have not been able to get a satisfying swallow ever since. i sometimes spend hours snorting backwards to clear my uvula for all this time, every day, no relief. can i scrape the yeast off my uvula with any kind of instrument? does applying coconut oil directly to the yeast kill it?

hi doc.. i just wanted to ask I've got a white tongue with teeth marks on the side and my tongue tends to bleed and I spit out blood I went to the doctors and they said clean my tongue it really pissed me off because I've had this about a year n half I think its malabsorption and candida not sure on top of that I get acne on my cheeks but they look like black spots I don't know were to start to recover please can you help?? and does candida spread to your lungs??

Hi Doctor. First I want to say, I love your channel and I've been spending time watching your videos. I have not been diagnosed with Candida yet but I suspect I have it... worst case alcoholic liver cirrhosis... So far i've been to a general family doctor, she says my bloated belly isn't ascities(thank god), my full blood lab work came back fine, and my ultra sound test showed no abnormalities... I'm still not entirely convinced and do plan on visiting a different doctor to get more test done.
In the meantime I wanted to ask you about red palms. Along with the many other symptoms i've been experiencing. One of the most worrying to me are my red palms... I've read all over the internet to see if this could be related to Candida overgrowth in anyway but all I can find it is one article talking about it and the other 99% are pointing to liver cirrhosis. Have any of your patients experienced something similar?

Hi Doc! You mentioned tinnitus and dizziness in this video. I have been having ringing in my ears and feel like I"m standing in a boat the past few weeks off and on. Sometimes if I just bend forward or backward slightly, everything starts spinning. My doctor said I didn't have any fluid in my ears and told me to take anti-histimines. They don't work needless to say. Is this caused from the candida? I deal with the sinus congestion issues and allergies to dust and environmental /chemical smells. Do a stool test (comprehensive) to determine the level of beneficial bacteria, if there are any parasites, yeasts, etc. A good starting point - then work on improving your gut function to the best of your ability. Amazing things will happen, regardless of the level of ear/nose/throat dysfunction. The future of medicine (when it comes to many functional complaints doctors are at a loss in treating) lies in improving patient's gastrointestinal function, not in giving toxic drugs - that screw gut function up.

I recently cheated and had some fried fish, French fries and ice cream. I have been on the diet for 3 months. I noticed improvements but I feel crappy again. Another great channel called healyourgutguy says kefir is one of the best anti candida foods. Should have some of the same affect as other fermented foods. I drink it and find it both invigorating and soothing if its high fat
@@oskaredwall7662 It may be for you Oskar, but many patients I've worked with are very much aggravated by kefir, some, in fact, get so sick after taking kefir it can take months for their gut to recover. You see, the difference is that I've been working with Candida patients for over three decades - long before the "kefir craze". I'm not saying kefir is a "bad food", just saying that a person will need to be very cautious in taking it - especially if they have a severe case of SIBO and/or Candida. Many don't know you can even develop a strain of Candida from actually taking kefir - Candida kefir. One man's food can be another man's poison.
