    4. Avoid sugar alcohols
    5. Consume capric acid (coconut oil or MCT oil)

It is unfortunate that pharmaceutical companies are permitted to incentivize physicians for prescribing their medications. These incentives may take the form of luxurious trips, such as a visit to the Bahamas, in exchange for prescribing a specified number of patients to take a particular drug, which is often intended for long-term maintenance use. This creates a disincentive for physicians to seek and promote more holistic, curative treatments, such as dietary and nutritional modifications. Instead, they may resort to prescribing pills to every patient that walks through their door, perpetuating a cycle of dependence on medication. This practice not only fails to address the root cause of health problems, but it also undermines the financial interests of both physicians and pharmaceutical companies, as a healthier patient population would result in reduced demand for medication and, subsequently, lost revenue. Thankfully, the advent of the internet has provided a platform for physicians, such as Dr. Berg, who possess in-depth knowledge of the impact of nutrition on our health to reach a growing audience. This will hopefully lead to a greater dissemination of evidence-based information on the importance of diet in maintaining optimal health.

Dr. Berg, good . I am trying to continue to healthy. I’ve been experiencing yeast infections and thrush symptoms on my tongue from antibiotics. I also had a DKA two years ago almost to the date and was in a diabetic coma for 3 days. Stayed in the hospital for a week. I started watching and learning about how to prevent issues and started a keto lifestyle. My blood sugar was 1,524 upon entering the hospital and I am very grateful to be alive today. I took your advice and ordered the products to regulate my blood sugar levels and my A1C was 10.2 February 12, 2021 and as of today it is 5.8! I don’t eat food the first 4 hours of waking up every morning and I switched to coconut sugar and I eat 1 meal or two meals a day. Low sugar intake and protein and low carbs. I’ve lost weight but I’m experiencing low blood sugar and low blood pressure episodes so doctors say to never do keto and I need more carbs and I need to eat more food. I was put on insulin during the crisis but now I’m on no insulin just diet and exercise. I wish I could get doctors to understand that if I hadn’t started the process from watching your videos I probably would be still on insulin and doing much worse. I’ve trained myself this way and now they are telling me that I should eat first thing in the morning and add more carbs and eat stuff I swore out of my diet. I know that I’m insulin free because of what you are teaching your followers and I’m forever grateful for your service to all.

I suffered from candida in my throat for months and months. When I switched to the carnivore diet and began taking Nystatin the problem resolved itself in a few days. One of the worst parts was going to the doctor. My GP didn't know why I had a persistent sore throat so she prescribed me antibiotics which immediately made things much worse. I then visited an ENT four times over the course of several months and was dismissed each time as apparently being asymptomatic despite the intense burning sensation in my esophagus. They were treating me as if I was getting tonsil stones (likely due to inflammation from the candida) because of poor hygiene and that the pain I was feeling in my throat was from said tonsil stones. So incredibly insulting. All they did was tell me to gargle with mouthwash. Finally after I realized that they had a camera they could use to look in my throat, I insisted that they use it. That is when they figured out I had a candida infection. The ineptitude of those ladies was/is mind blowing. I spent so much money too. Peak ENT Center Golden Colorado

I was on nystatin in my 30’s for Candida. Did all the right diet, and went through a short period of mild spaciness, due to the Candida die-off. Ate rare foods, took caprylic acid, took a product called ‘yeast fighter’, garlic, organic veg juicing, lots of garlic, etc. Got better over a couple months, but had to continue. Took a while because of horrendous past overgrowth. My GP was knowledgeable about Candida treatment. That….I am so grateful for. Now in my 60’s I am grateful anew for Dr. Berg’s video on this. I will get back on much of this stuff.

I once had a wart that I couldn't get rid of no matter what; burn it, freeze it, everything from liquid nitrogen to garlic, for over a year. I had come to the conclusion that I was stuck with it, I couldn't really afford to go back to the doctor and ask them to be more liberal with the liquid nitrogen. Then one day I started drinking coconut milk, not because I thought it would help, but just because I thought it was tasty; that wart dried up and fell off within a matter of days.

I have heard that it can take much longer than 40 days to get a healthy microbiome back. And sadly, Americans already have a markedly non-diverse microbiome under the best of circumstances.
My friend who was plagued with genital candida no longer has a problem since she has started exercising. Another person I know, who is diabetic, can always count on getting yeast infections on her tongue if her sugar gets out of control. On a side note, she is a clean freak, and oddly, so many people are very concerned with outside cleanliness and have no idea of the filth inside, judging by what they consume.

I just got over a miserable case of skin Candida. It started with an itchy pubic bush, and began to grow upward into my abdominal area. I kept putting body lotion on, and until one night after scratching my belly and looking down after pushing my belly in to look at it, my belly button was 5 times it’s regular size, protruding outwards, and purple in color. My appendix scar next to it was red! I googled a purple belly protruding belly button, and read it was a Candida growing within the skin..not on the skin. Tea Tree Essential Oil mixed with body lotion gave instant relief to the itch. Am taking Protease and EDTA on an empty stomach to “hunt” for any Candida biofilms inside my body that also harbor bacteria that “hide” inside the biofilm protected from the body’s white cells.

I’ve got very bad candida from more than a decade being dirty vegetarian and taking antibiotics as I was sickly back then. Had every symptom bad except that ammonia breath thing which I probably just did not notice as it’s hard to tell if you are the one breathing it. The ammonia smelling sweat though is much noticeable. In the event one is taking antibiotics, while taking it probiotics is not recommended as it will just be also killed by the antibiotic unless the type of probiotic is resistant or immune to that type of antibiotic. After about a week or two of taking the antibiotic is the time to take in various probiotic strains to heal your gut. Or in theory… while taking antibiotics during the last day or two of your medication, take in a lot of probiotics. This in theory may not kill all of the probiotics and with this method the surviving microbes may develop an immunity to that antibiotic… I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing though. Been pure no carb and about 6 mos no cheese high fat carnivore for more than a year now. My health and gut really got wrecked from being a low fat dirty vegetarian for more than a decade that even the 4 years I went from conventional keto to intermittent fast clean healthy keto with 2x a month healthy keto approved organic carbs on a therapeutic keto routine, still have relapses on those carb refeed reset days. I tried high fat carnivore after being hit by covid and tweaked it to high fat carnivore with only home made milk kefir, butter, and cold pressed coconut oil as my non meat food intake with the occasional black coffee and apple cider. Felt just as great when I switch from vegetarian to keto but this time no more plateaus in weight management as on keto after hitting plateaus I yo-yo from getting chubby easily to making an effort to get it off and I get that periods where I feel off most likely because of that carb refeed days and the organic keto treats like homemade almond flour with erythritol/monk fruit goodies… and the supposedly healthy green leafies. On pure carnivore when it’s the reverse… I occasionally drop to a low body fat level which is not healthy for my individual body type that I make an effort to eat more or exercise less. When I feel my bones on my but when sitting on hard surfaces that’s the sign that I should ease up… if I don’t when my hair sheds more than usual and I don’t make an effort to gain weight metabolism and libido tanks… happened before when I was effortlessly cutting weight for a jujitsu competition… took quite some time to get things back to good so I don’t want that happening again.

At one week, my baby developed a white tongue. I knew it was a yeast infection. Took her to the doctor for her check-up that day and he prescribed some horrible tasting purple liquid. I wouldn't give it to her. Instead, I opened up my acidophilus capsule (I used them daily for myself), wet my finger and placed the powder on her tongue as often as she would start or finish breastfeeding. Within 24hrs. her tongue was normal. I threw out the purple meds and continued for a few more days, while increasing my own intake of plain yogurt and daily acidophilus. When I told my very wise older doctor who had eight children of his own, he complimented me! I suppose I could have given her some homemade kapusta, but she was a bit too little!
